How hard can this quest (Monkey Madness) be if you can do it with level 10 constitution?

The worse part was dying to the scorpions and putting the wrong prayers up >_<

Wow! 10,000 coins and 3 diamonds.. and the back end reward of using d scimy..

But WOW is that quest reward dated

I dont want to be so arrogant as to call this picture fake if its not, but i strongly remember this quest giving combat experience as part of the reward (a lot of i remember correctly)

The exp reward is optional and contains Constitution experience so I won't take it, the same way 1 def pures can weild dragon scims without getting the defence experiene.

Here is another goal for you:

To be quite frank it wasn't much of an accomplishment at all, just had to put up with annoying scorpions. Same for when I did Dragon Slayer. Summer's End won't be much harder either lol, but I'm hoping Desert Treasure will at least pose a small challenge. (or Underground Pass through Roving Elves)

  3. Quote from RSOF

I just bought a gravite 2H, and the attack stats are:

    - 4 stab - 4 slash + 87 crush - 4 magic+ 0 ranged

That would mean it is a crush based weapon, and hence all attack styles would be crush (like mauls). But when I wield the 2H the options are Accurate (Slash), Aggressive (Slash), Aggressive (Crush), and Defend (Slash).

So all attack styles except the aggressive (crush) giving str exp has the +87 bonus. I've tried it against people with no armour and barely hit with the other options (-4 slash seems to take the place).

    Fix this bug please.

Wow, jagex, wow. Major fail. I've been a supporter of the new skill, but these item stat issues wreak of poor implementation and lack of caring.

Not really a fail. It has the same attack styles as any other 2h'ed weapon. If anything it's a real small move against f2p pkers (Who, face it, will probably be the only users of this)using it to range/2h.

Since they have to change attack styles to crush after switching from bow to 2h. But once they switch back to the bow it'll be on longrange(def exp). Sure some people will whine but their fault for not being cautious.

  4. While doing Dragon Slayer, My son, who has a members account noticed a bug and cannot go farther in the quest. He was at the point where you go to the mountain to talk to the Oracle. She was supposed to tell you what items you need, and she didn't. Every time he clicks on her, she says something minor and closes the conversation.

So he got the items needed, and proceeded to the door in the Dwarven Mine. He tried to use the items on the door, but it would not let him.

    What can he do now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whats uncrossed in his ingame quest guide?

  5. This is my rant on why other people are complaining about the new skill.

"It's a group skill, and that ruins it!" - Runescape is an MMO; It's SUPPOSED to have group implemented activities in it. Not to mention you can train it by yourself if you like. (Sure low levels will hinder you but that's noone's choice but your own)

"This isn't a skill, it's a minigame!" - First off, we don't have minigames in Runescape. Secondly, you could say the same about Slayer but noone does. Just because it has a unique training style doesn't make it an activity.

"The rewards aren't good enough" - If you were expecting an "End All" weapon or another such unlockable which made everything easier, you should know that Jagex likes to keep everything as balanced as possible.

"The rewards and experience take to long to get!" - Anything worth having should be worth the effort earning it. You can't expect to have them handed to you on a silver platter.
