  1. Firecape/Trimmed Skillcape

    Fire cape is a more offensive option, as opposed to the defensive uses of a skillcape. It depends what you are doing. I personally would go for the firecape to speed up combat, but if you want the extra defense (translates to less healing), then go with the skill.
