I tried smithing mithril bolts, and it cost me 680K+ going from 60-63. Is there really anyway to raise this skill without losing or breaking even. Maybe Steel Plates are my only option.

I need some smithing advice, I need to get to level 69 without losing much cash, making profit is no concern, as long as I break even. I will be using sacred clay hammers. I am currently 63 Smithing, and it would be appreciated if advice was given.
