    The fight didn't last over 2 hours. We ended at shortly after 4 PM EST, so it was more like 90 minutes. Looking forward to more :)

     

    Thanks for the fight and congratulations on your victory; we have no one to blame but ourselves for our performance/turnout.

    Gratz trwf, nice opts, nothing TR could do against them

     

    They could have done more perhaps. The previous time we fought them, with similar rules, they outnumbered us by 25 people and we still managed to keep up with them.

    We felt like we lost that fight purely on options though, so that was another reason for us to have a good pull and perform well today.

    About a week ago our officials set up a PKRI with The Rising with the following rules:

     

    1. All styles
    2. No corrupt/dung
    3. 7 snipers
    4. Spiders - Gds Rock
    5. Keep flaming to a minimum
    6. Rush on sight
    7. No Corr
    8. 2h30 cap

     

    Since TR and TRWF got a healthy rivalry going on, everyone was very excited about this fight.

    We heard stories of TR pulling 90+ people to the fights, tons of their old members coming, ...

    The thing is, you never know how much of those rumours are true. We were confident in our own ability, our sign ups looked good as well so we just went in hoping for a good fight.

     

    Then on Sunday it was finally time to fight. We had a good 75 people on audio at the start, TR had about 67 people. Since it was rush on sight we initially didn't know what TR's real numbers were, according to our PK leaders they had 110 but that motivated us even more to have a topnotch performance.

     

    When the fight started it soon became clear TR didn't have those 110 people our PK leaders mentioned, they just said that so we would have a solid performance :P

    We dominated the fight from start to finish, hitting TR regroup after regroup until they called it off after ~90 minutes of fighting.

    TRWF defeats LDK in a Thursday PKRI

    A few days ago LDK asked our PK leaders if we were interested in fighting them. Since they recently cleared their memberlist and we now have similar memberlists, we accepted the fight.

     

    Rules:

    • All styles
    • No corrupt/dung
    • 7 snipers
    • Spiders - Gds
    • LDK attack
    • No Fog

    LDK rushed us and the fight started. We took control of the fight early and kept it for about 20 minutes, then LDK started to gain numbers and the fight became more even.

    During that time the fight went back and forth, but in the final half hour we pushed through and we finished strong with 150 options ending to their 99.

    The Lack of GMT Clans?

    1. Why is there such a distinct lack of GMT clans in the top 10? The clanworld focusses on EST clans.

     

    2. Do you think that a GMT clan is ever going to make it into the top 3/5? Not with the current idea of ranking clans no. GMT clans however can compete with the top clans in their timezone, but they will end up being outlasted.

     

    3. Is there any one reason why EST clans seem to flourish so much more than their GMT counter parts? Even though they're getting wrecked by a GMT clan, they know that if they keep it up long enough they can 'win' and outlast all GMT clans.

     

    4. Why aren't the majority of clans GMT based, and as such why are most wars not fought at a time that is more suitable to GMTers? Never really had a problem with this in TRWF. We got plenty of action.

    HA approached us again for a pkri and after our loss due to being outnumbered severely(yet performing great still) we wanted to prove that with a slighter number disadvantage we could get the win.

     

    We prepped hard and before the fight it seemed we would have a good turnout too. This showed with us having around 150 opts in game at the start of the fight. HA sadly pulled less than last time but stood strong and ready to charge with 120 opts or so. We were set to defend so we did, when they got near to rush we noticed they had a ton of similar names but our brave fall in leaders took my example and called by the levels and summoning bonuses. This proved to be a great way and we weren't affected by the names at all.

     

    After just 15 minutes of fighting we had already sent HA regrouping and this would continue the whole fight with some interruptions due to crashers and us having to pile 1 man camp units off HA members. The rest of the 1h30 cap we basically just chased regroups and were confident that they wouldn't get back in the game. Untill they rushed us with 60 options, but all of our fall in leaders tanked around a easy to hug obstacle allowing us to simply transition onto their pile and reduce it to bits in a matter of minutes.

     

    Nonetheless they managed to get 80 options magically and take ending with us, we ended with 177 in game and around 60 on TS.

     

    Thanks for the fight HA, imo you should've called it seeing you couldn't really get into the game, but good work on persevering and seeing it through.

    TRWF defeats MMA

    MMA appraoched us for a fight before the weekend and we were keen to accept. We later found out Brazil had a national holiday so we knew we had to step our game up to win this one, our signups weren't looking too promising but nonetheless we pulled a solid 43 people to start with. MMA had slightly less and was set to defend in result.

     

    We rushed their pile and started making quick work of their rangers and hybrids, we told our members to tank around us in order to transition onto them, but as we got comfortable we started losing ko power and they could get their numbers up, we then started dragging them all over which seemed to work but we couldn't maintain our own piles due to them sending over 12 snipers, whereas the cap was 5. Combined with the randoms that were sniping us this proved to be too much to handle in such low options, so we contacted them to pull them back and after 15 minutes they were back in check. Nonetheless this was a set back so we had to start gaining numbers in game again, but once we did it was all over, we just kept hitting regroups untill after about 1h30 of fighting they called off returning.

     

    Thanks for the fight MMA, would like to do it again with blasts this time.

    TRWF vs LDK

    A week ago LDK approached me for a matched opts CWA fight. Not having fought them since they opened I figured it was a great opportunity. When we arrived at CWA we had some fun spamtowers about the ownership of the yellow cape. Eventually we got in and the fights commenced.

     

    We had a messy start in the first round but managed to get ourselves together and our perfect styles showed. In the second round we had some sloppy tanking and the fight lasted a lot longer than it should have but we managed to pull out a win aswell. Thanks for the fights LDK, and you'll get that PvP fight when our numbers pick up :)
