no.. thats dumb.. i dont need gp rofl plus the i just looked on some companies websites and the screen shots i looked at had no copyrighted anywheres on the image.. so the only things they put it on would be the wallpaper which only contains the name of the game/movie/whatever it is.

well you can think anyway u want, but you cant do anything to stop it millions of ppl are doing it, so theres no biggie. please and my bgs arn't lame lol.. better then ur 10min work punching in numbers to get a mountian then just touching it up in some rendering program. well... without the easy step of touching it up and resizing it 20mins of ever using this simple program and look wat i get. oh and if your tryin to stop ppl from doign what i do... go register at sigsource.com and you tell 1300+ members that what their doing is wrong. No really please, go try it.. and then we can all discuss it with their opinions.. because they been doing it longer than i.

Well, them taking screen's of their on work and you doing the same thing is not the same thing. I could say in that example I gave you earlier, me taking your sig and changing it, that it's just a "walking advertisement" for you. But i'm sure a lot of people wouldn't like that would they? ugh? i meant taking the screen shot of the game while playing it not the 1s they took.. what u did to my sig, i dont care if u used the image, but what u did to my bg was plain dumb imo. also it is a walkin advertisement for them, therefor they wont do anything. thx.

a sig doesn't have to be abs. to be a sig theres soft grunge hard grunge abs. vector and more and all these can be shown tons of ways

well we talked it over in sigsource.com and we came to a 'conclusion' that if the game companies take screen shots of them, why cant we? so its basically the same thing. also. its like a walking advertisment for them anyways, so why would they want to do anything to stop it?

I've yet to see any of the big artists at deviantart do something like that. lol nice... yeah but this is my first time posting actually sigs i made here, i put renders on them because... 1. so its not plain 2. looks better. ---- thx for the comment tho :) ill try somethin without using an image, ppl will just say its to plain and has no concept. :( ------ also tons of great designers go to http://www.sigsource.com ---------- and nadril, so the ppl who do these types of sigs at devart, you call them no skilled 'rippers'? because half the ppl or more do the exact same thing as i just did.

tbh, i also do abs. and if i didn;t use images in grunge it would look so friggen plain. thats why abs sucks as well. i got nothing agaist u nadril, but if those artists never did anything or never sued any of the long term websites OR shut down any of the websites who have been doing this, i dont think its any problem as long as nobody is selling for money.

of course, anyone can press buttons in it and get a piece of crap. Same thing in photoshop as well. Although, i'm sure you already know that :wink:. um i dont push bottons in photoshop, it actually takes skill if u got it, try something then compare it.

not really, tbh all i pushed was 3-5 bottons and look what i got from it already, its to simple plus annoying.

And they ARE not stolen rofl. yes im jlr from another forum, i shoulda mentioned that since i had seen a jlr here. sorry bout that. oh and you wanna see a forum that has these things and you might learn a thing or 2? TYPE THIS IN URL ONLY!! - you might of heard of this already - http://www.sigsource.com NO THIS IS SOME STUPID KEYLOGGING CRAP its in the top ten sig gfx sites. Sigh. That was the dumbest thing I ever heard. Yes they let you download those renders, and I'm sure they don't mind if you use them for you're wallpaper. However, you're not allowed to remake them and call them your own. Try putting one of those up on a large website or even better try legally selling something with a stolen render in it. "a lot of them seem like brush piles" WELL ive used terr./moutian programs such as bryce/c4d and they dont take no skill what so ever. tbh my friend all u do is punch some numbers in and there you go a mountian appears,.. the real work comes into play when you actually do brushing on it/color it.
