  1. Yes, picking xp sucks, but if you just want the produce quickly, you can gather it faster then if you replant.
  2. The farming timer is awesome for power farming. Which I have been doing recently with the bonus xp weekend approaching and 14 Herb-lore levels to go for 90. Given how the farming skill works the Allotments, hops, trees, flowers, herbs, compost, and most specials are great. The Plant then uproot model is an exact match to the game. (growth times on white lilies are missing though) The bushes, fruit trees, and the following specials Cactus, and Calquat trees have a second model of farming, they regenerate. Thus the farmer that is low on seed stocks or who is power farming herb-lore ingredients, may not wish to replant the these plots. The regeneration time is not the same as the growth time. In the farming timer, for these crops how about adding a second button "pick" and counter of how many of the produce has regenerated. Thus a cactus takes 9+ hours to grow and regenerates 3 spines in less time then it takes to grow an herb 1 1/4 hr. This would show a green bar for the growth, then a counter when picked Starting at 0/3 in red. then 1/3 (in yellow) after one regeneration cycle. Finally a Green 3/3 when fully regenerated (This is shown when the plot is fully grown for the first time as well). Fruit trees and bushes would have 0/6 and 0/4, respectively, when picked. The Jade vine needs a check health/prune button. After this is pressed the jade vine starts/restarts it second growth cycle towards wild (when it goes wild the button disappears as it is not needed). It is normally a 24 hrs to go wild. So data needed for the calculations, that I know: White berries take 1/2 the growth time to regrow 4 berries. (I believe this holds true for all bushes but have not checked) Cactus takes 15 minutes per spine Pineapple trees take 30 minutes per 1. Papaya trees take 30 per 1. Palms take 30 per coconut.
  3. Gold bars while wearing the gold smithing gloves do NOT fill the strong smithing urn
  4. Here is what I have found out about filling urns. A strong smelting urn: Does fill when making cannon balls Takes approx. 2 loads of steel to fill it Does NOT Fill when smelting at the Blast furnace A decorated Mining Urn: Does NOT fill when mining in Miscellania I suspect the other urns do not fill in Miscellania when managing thy kingdom either
  5. First: For the player that does not have the skill levels, thus does not hunt effigies, but will still receive them as drops. Getting rid of the effigy to recover bank space becomes a high priority. Since they normally do not hunt effigies, they need the guide and since they do not have the levels they will need to Request Assistance. If the pairings were ordered as below and/or a note added that told them what skills are Assist-able it would make the guide more functional. * Crafting% or Agility * Construction% or Thieving * Cooking% or Firemaking * Farming% or Fishing * Fletching% or Woodcutting * Herblore% or Hunter * Smithing% or Mining * Runecrafting% or Summoning % Request Assistance is available for these skills. Second: Add a Java Script calculator for the dragonkin lamp. You could even make a full calculator for the special calculator section that calculates all the players levels. A quick calc on the guide page would be enough, here is a draft feel free to use it as you will: < input type="text" id="levelTextBox" value=1 /> < input type="button" id="button" onclick="calculateExperence()" /> < input type="text" id="experenceTextBox" value=0 disabled="disabled" /> function calculateExperence(){ var level = document.getElementById("levelTextBox").value; var xp = (level * level * level) / 20; document.getElementById("experenceTextBox").value = xp; }
  6. Found something New, now I want to know what a neverberry bush is.
  7. Staring a grind for fire making 79 in the face: I could spend gps on logs and torch the GE for the 12 millionth time. I could typewriter the Coal truck tracks again. I could go burn up Teak in Tai Bwo village. I could go hack yews in seers village. Since I'm not a 99 wood cutter yet might as well train that too, so the first one is out. Beside I frown at Fire making in the GE, I think it is tacky looking (exceot firelighters, they are fun to share with others). The other 3 I have done so much I groaned at the thought. Then I remembered an article, The Tip It Times did the article: Fun Comes Second? 11 Apr 2010 From the Tip It Times So I created the burning ramble. Since I was in Catherby Bank. I loaded up my lumber jack outfit, rabbits foot, Dragon ax, and ring of fire. Grab a tinderbox and started cutting and lighting. Any tree I could cut and light was fair game. Trees, oaks, dead trees, magic logs, even yews (ugh, why I hate yews later). The rules are simple you can step north or south around obstacles, east if you must but never west. To move west you light a fire. I ended up finding Rosero, Did you know he sold Dragon daggers? Home teleport the on to round 2. Round 2: Since I was in Lumbridge I added the seers head band (the 2 logs help in the dry patches between trees) to my inventory, dumped my bird nests in the bank and started at the farming plot. Did I run out of logs? Yup, guess what there are a lot of trees in runescape, I got more. Did I run into things and find out that you can't light a fire in a church? Yup. Did I have fun? Yup. Maybe I'll burn my way across the wilderness and see how many revs I can kill?
  8. When you get to the puzzle, you'll know. You will need to connect the Drive box (lower center) to different outputs using the puzzle, each task must be done within 50 lever pulls. I recommend you reset once achieve each goal 1-4. All directions are referenced in the change view mode 1) get the double stacked gear on the right by lowering the platform. 2) get the triple stacked gear on the left by lowering the platform. These are Upper outputs on the respective counters. 3) get the right counter to read 50 4) get the left stuck on 62-53 These are the lower outputs on each counter. Once completed with goal 4 resets are no longer required or recommended. 5) bring the center down This is the input on the upper center and requires the triple stacked gears. DO NOT RESET after this. 6) all four of the outputs on the center must be powered. DO NOT RESET after this. 7) Raise the center, just like step 5 DO NOT RESET after this. To make multiple bars you can move one gear out of the chain then back in to lower the platform. repeat 6 and 7.
  9. First, How about a tool for collecting the data for the calculator? The process would go like this, enter the skill trained, the start and stop xp, the % of the tool used, and the tool type. With the start and stop xp the level can be calculated, as Runescape's game guide states: "Although it will also return to its natural form after a certain number of uses (based on your level in the relevant skill, but will last a slightly shorter time than the volatile tool). The morphic tool can be transformed into a new shape as much as you like until it runs out of bonus experience, when it will disintegrate. You can check the percentage of experience remaining by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Count-charges'. " I think that having a tool place the information in a database would be quicker then extracting it from a forum: The morphic hammer lasts 50k xp when smithing for 100%, at levels 65-76. The morphic pickax lasts 15.5k xp for 100%, at levels 76-77. Given the a few known good data points the data could be scrubbed for inconstant or malicious data. I know the formula for the time the tool lasts is different for the type of tool used, ie pick vs hammer vs hatchet. I suspect it is different for each skill, a hammer used for construction vs smithing.
