The Beginning of Order of the Phoenix:

Order of the Phoenix was the name of the original clan that would eventually become Dark Dynasty. Order of the Phoenix (OOTP) first started in late march by the founder Darthvaderhc. OOTP was a pure mage clan that had about 6-8 members around combat level 50s. After another month or so, OOTP gradually changed from a pure mage clan into a combat clan. After getting the help from some early members: Zzdragonsage, OT dragon, Me262, K-1ne, and Tntman, OOTP got stronger and more organized. OOTP was officially found on May 13th, 2005 due to the establishment of our first forum made by the leader of Fate: runeraider66. OOTP began to grow slowly and gain more experience. After about 2 weeks, Darthvaderhc turned over his power to Zzdragonsage.

Order of the Phoenix under Zzdragonsage:

When Zzdragonsage became leader he focused on several important aspects of the clan including making the first ranks of OOTP: Leader, Co-leader, Senior Member, and Member. He made OT dragon his Co-leader and Darthvaderhc, Me262, and Tntman1332 Senior Members. Zzdragonsage then made strict clan rules that helped to strengthen the clan. After another 2 months, OOTP had its first war with Fate. OOTP won the war with ease and this match brought high spirits over the members. After another 4 month, OOTP continued to grow and reached its highest point with 180 registered forum members and clan average combat of 76.325.

Evolution of Order of the Phoenix

Zzdragonsage decided to make a new forum and start the second stage of OOTP, Phoenix Empire. After constructing the forum, all of the loyal members from OOTP joined Phoenix Empire and continued on to become one of the top clan on RS. The beginning of Phoenix Empire is very different from the beginning of OOTP. Phoenix Empire started out strong under the leadership of Zzdragonsage and Fieldyfield as well as the help of the Phoenix Secrets Committee. Phoenix Empire gained new members, hosted many clan events, and most importantly developed a unique clanning community.

Problems within the Phoenix Empire

Although most of the times of Phoenix Empire are covered in glory and strength, there were also a lot of problems. One of the biggest problems was inner clan struggle. Members would fight with each other and cause server negative impact on the clan. Another problem was a continuous argument with clan Fate. However, most of these problems were solved quickly and left no harmful marks behind.

The end of Phoenix Empire:

Phoenix Empire evolved to its third stage, Dark Dynasty on March 19th, 2006. There are two main reasons on why Phoenix Empire evolved. The first reason was that with a new forum and a new name, members of Dark Dynasty could experience a new beginning and improve on different areas. Another reason was to separate the inactive members of Phoenix Empire from the active members since all of the active members.

Dark Dynasty - Zzdragonsage:

Zzdragonsage continued to hold the leadership position of the clan, and under his guidance and the addition of several key members, specifically Ravenclaw38 as ambassador, was able to make Dark Dynasty a better known clan in the RuneScape community. This included a large free-for-all war which pitted 12 clans against one another in the deep wilderness. Zzdragonsage would eventually step down from the leadership position and promote Frisbeep (a forum moderator at the time) to leader.

Dark Dynasty - Frisbeep

Frisbeeps time as leader began as it would eventually end, with controversy. The initial controversy with Frisbeep being named as leader occurred because Zzdragonsage had previously guaranteed to Ravenclaw38 (who at the time was a senator) that when Zz stepped down Raven would become leader. ZZs sudden change caused the clan to experience a stressful transition. One of the first tasks that Frisbeep undertook was to decentralize the power of the leader and give more power to the senators, as well as clearly defining the rolls and requirements of senators, ambassadors, warlords, and moderators. This became known as the first DD constitution.

Controversy struck under Frisbeeps leadership as Ravenclaw was demoted from Head-Senate. Ravenclaw felt the demotion to a normal member as unfair and harsh and eventually left the clan, with several other members, to form a new clan called Black Inferno. Many of these members would eventually rejoin dark-dynasty (including Ravenclaw38). However this would not occur until after Frisbeep stepped down from leadership.

Even so under frisbeep dark-dynasty eventually got up above 90 active clan members. This was greatly due to the merger of Divine Assassins (an ally of Dark Dynasty) into Dark Dynasty. The formation of Dark Dynasty Knights (DDK) Dark Dynastys Junior Clan, helped reach out to lower combat people and brought them into the clan. Unfortunately problems with maintaining an active DDK resulted in it being disbanded and then ultimately given independence from Dark Dynasty.

Frisbeep stepped down from the Leadership position on Jan. 1 2007 due to real life obligations. For weeks Dark Dynasty held an intense leadership election between Zzdragonsage, Darthvaderhc, and Nevrane. Once again controversy struck. A few days before the completion of the voting it was revealed that a senate member had gone into old, inactive forum accounts and voted for Zzdragonsage. Frisbeep, unable to postpone his stepping down for long called for a new vote in which Zzdragonsage was not a candidate; Nevrane won the election.

Dark Dynasty Nevrane

The greatest legacy from Nevrane was the ability to reconcile with many former members of Dark Dynasty that left to form Black Inferno. This occurred when the clan Sub Zero merged into Dark Dynasty. Black inferno had previously merged into Sub Zero. Ravenclaw38 returned to Dark-dynasty and eventually worked his way up into the senate. While the clan under Nevrane began with controversy the era of Nevrane was in general rather calm. Nevrane's absence for over a month led to the demand for a new leader. Leadership was passed down from Nevrane to Ravenclaw38.

Dark Dynasty Ravenclaw

With Ravenclaw as leader a great change came to Dark Dynasty. This was the incorporation of Dynasty points. These points would be gained by participating in clan events and would be required for achieving different ranks. This along with a heated rivalry with Wrath united the clan against the hated rival. During this era SylentSlayer proposed the merge of Event Coordinator and Ambassador to create Warlord. This was quickly passed and the search for Warlords took place. Ravenclaw had also sponsored the promotion of Rvcwrestler and Kevinballer to Warlord. The two Warlords would help propel Dark Dynasty into the elite ranks of warring

While Ravenclaw was leader of dark-dynasty it was revealed that Zzdragonsage and possibly Darthvaderhc were responsible for the manipulation of the leader election following Frisbeeps step-down from leadership. This coupled with their lack of cooperation with the senate and leader resulted in Zzdragonsage being banned from Dark-dynasty and Darthvaderhc leaving the clan.

Under Ravenclaw the clan once again started to grow and new and active members joined the clan. One of Ravenclaws other great achievements was getting Dark-dynasty on the RAW list, for the top 50 warring clans in RuneScape. Tension arose due to new members expecting Dark Dynasty to win every single war. A devastating lost in Dark Dynasty's first RAW War would prove to be its last for a while. Within 2 weeks, Warlords Kevinballer and Rvcwrestler left the clan and Dark Dynasty had removed itself from the RAW rankings.

Towards the end of Ravenclaws time as leader another merger occurred with Adrenaline merging into Dark-dynasty. This merge was done to help recuperate the loss of many members after the RAW list. Adrenaline members demanded wars from the Congress and would also greatly influence the next leadership election. The end of Ravenclaw's leadership was capped off with the new formed alliance with Dragon's Awakening

Dark Dynasty Joa1loiro

Shortly after Adrenaline merged into Dark-dynasty Ravenclaw stepped down as leader. An election was held with two members, Joa1loiro and Frisbeep racing head to head until the very end where Joa1loiro edged out Frisbeep with roughly 60 people voting in the election. It was eventually revealed by the ex-leader of Adrenaline that the ex-leader told ex-members of adrenaline to vote in favor of Joa1loiro because of his stance to war 3xtermination.

Joa1loiros time as leader began with a switch of forums to weed out those who were inactive and to also secure the forums. Ironically the forums were then hacked causing the clan to need to move again. Joa1 spent countless hours rebuilding the forums. Shortly after Joa1 became leader, many, but not all, ex-Adrenaline members left Dark-dynasty. Under Joa1 a new constitution was created that gave the Department of State (moderators and warlords) and the leader, the ability to vote in the congress. The constitution also clarified many previous gray areas of the rules.

Joa1loiro announced that he would step down from leader in order to devote more time to his studies in college. He stepped down after seeing the clan flourish within the warring community. At the end of Joa1loiro's leadership the forums hosted at InvisionFree were hacked, and the clan moved over to IPBFree forums.

Dark Dynasty - Justintimme1

Justintimme1 became leader in an election between him and Silverdemonz. Shortly after Justintimme1 became leader the longest server senator in the clan, Jiangh, announced that he would be stepping down from his senate position. While Justintimme1's initial reign as leader continued with the momentum from Joa1loiro, he was later caught up in controversial topics leading to his stepping down.

Dark Dynasty - The end of leaders and rebuilding

Following the quitting of Justintimme1, many other members took the opportunity to quit. Seeing a need to make drastic changes the congress, headed by Azncool55, took sweeping steps to rebuild the clan. The clan was moved once again to a new set of forums at ZetaBoards, and the congress was completely reformed into the council. No longer would a single person have the title of leader, instead the clan would be ruled by the council, consisting of 2-3 High Council Members, elected by the clan, and 4-6 Council Members who were selected by the council. Forum, IRC, and RuneScape activeness was stressed, and a plan to bring Dark Dynasty back to the glory days of years past was put into motion.

Where we are today:

As of October 6th, 2009, we are officially rebuilding. We provide a unique clanning experience that stresses community, friendship, and activeness. It is our goal to get back to the older days when we had 60+ active, strong, committed members.
