  1. The reason why you don't want Hitpoints exp is because when you go Hybrid Range/Melee, just Range, or just Melee, you can level magic up without gaining any Combat levels at all out of it. No one goes Pure Mage with no hitpoints exp.
  2. 1) Alching is a lot more clicking. Which is why people choose this method. 2) Barrows? If you can do Barrows then why are you even looking at this guide? This is mainly for F2P
  3. So you have either started a pure, a new character, or are just too lazy to keep clicking monsters. Well this is the place for you. *Please do not use auto clickers to stay logged in, as this is against the rules. Ok, so here's the details. North of the Lumbridge Castle is a training facility, which offers dummies for ranged, melee, and magic. The melee and ranged dummies are rather useless, as they reward hardly any exp. However, the magic ones reward full splash exp, so fire strikes reward 11exp per hit. Since Mind runes and Air runes are relatively cheap, this makes leveling Magic relatively easy at this location for those who can't afford large amounts of Law Runes, and also doesn't require anywhere near as much clicking. So what you do, First get your magic to level 9. You can do this at the dummies using lower leveled strike spells, or do Witch's Potion and Imp Catcher quests. Secondly, get a fire staff and Mind and Air runes. You will need twice the amount of Air Runes as Mind Runes, so if you have 5k minds, you will need 10k airs. Thirdly, just head to the training spot and attack a Mage Dummy. Not many people are usually there, and each server can have 3 people there at once. All you have to do is click the mouse or move the camera once every 5 minutes, though I urge you not to try AFKing with this, as that would be against the rules. If you're puzzled at why the dummies don't "die" it's because they return to full health after each attack, though you don't see it. ------------------------- Here is a short video image of my own character training here :-)
  4. Firstly I would like to point out that Woodcutting is not an instant moneymaker like mining, you need level 60 woodcutting to start making good money. Levels 1-15 Get a bronze or iron hatchet from Bob's Axes in Lumbridge. Use the help system to find this if you can't yourself :) You should also get a steel hatchet if you can afford one, as you can start using that at level 6. Start off in the forest west of Lumbridge Castle. There are many regular trees here which you can cut down, and level 15 will not even take you an hour to reach. Levels 15-30 If you can afford it, purchase a mithril axe ready for at level 21. If you're still using bronze or iron, that's fine. You will make money near the end of this guide. :-) Head to Draynor Village, there are three Oak Trees in proximity to each other, as seen in the picture below. Cut these until level 30 woodcutting. Levels 30-60 Purchase an Adamant Axe and Rune Axe if you can afford, otherwise sell all the logs you have obtained and get the best axe you can afford. There are two locations I am going to mention here, one for those who wish to bank the Willows, and one for those who don't care about the Willows. (9gp each) Draynor Village has a lot of Willows South-West of the Bank. South-West of Port Sarim is a bunch of 6 Willow Trees in proximity to each other, but you can't bank the logs here, you have to drop them or sell to a store in Rimmington/Port Sarim. Also there are a lot of botters here, as this seems to be where they are programmed to level at, report botters to help free the woodcutting community of them. Levels 60-99 If you are just skilling, cut willows until level 90, then cut yews. Level 60! Who said money doesn't grow on trees? Cut some yews! They sell for around 450gp each on the Grand Exchange. I am going to give you a choice between two locations. South of Melzar's Maze has significantly less people at it than other yew locations. Only downside is that it's further to walk to a bank. (Falador, or Draynor if you have Explorer's Ring 3) South of Falador are three yew trees, one West of the road, and two East of the road. There are usually more people here than the other location however, but it is closer to a bank. Happy 'Scaping :)
  5. I thought posts get moved there if they are successful guides, not posted directly into there?
