  1. I have a suggestion to improve your skill guide for "Ranged." In the Ranged skill guide, several tables contain a column whose header reads "ranged strength." Yet, there is no definition of this term on the page. Not having a definition makes the content on the page confusing. For example, what does "ranged strength" mean? Although there is a player stat called "strength," there is no player stat called "ranged strength." Now all I have to go on is conjecture. Does this number represent some sort of "minimum" that I need in order to use the weapon described in that particular row in the table? Or, does it represent some sort of "reward" for using the weapon? Some tables have a column whose header is "attack bonus" and the sort. I get that. But without a definition, I cannot use the tables which include this term. I've searched for every occurence of that term on the Ranged skill guide page, but nowhere is the term defined, nor is guidance given on how to avail one's self of that number. I realize a number of you will respond to this post with your advice on the definition of "ranged strength," and I thank you in advance. However, that's not really why I'm posting. The purpose of my post is to offer a suggestion for web site usability. My suggestion is to simply add a definition for this term (and quite possibly others used in this skill guide) at the top of the page. Walter
  2. Just a few changes to the walk through to clarify. 1. Talk to Martin the Master Gardener. He will tell you that his roses are not as good as they used to be and crops have been getting smaller. Promise to help him out. You will now need to go talk to various different farmers (any 5). It's not really important which farmers say what (may be random) - just keep visiting farmers until one mentions fairies. Farmers are found only at farming patches. Use your Runescape map to locate and choose five of the farming patches. Each farmer you talk to will give you a different reason for the crop problems. The fifth farmer you talk to will say the problem is with fairies. You can go northwest next to the nearest allotments and talk to Elstan there. Ask if he's a G.A.G. member and he will tell you about the lack of rain. Use your ectophial to teleport or walk to Port Phasmatys. Now go a little bit west to the allotment and talk to Lyra. However, if you don't have an ectophial, go to the Rimmington bush patch and talk to Taria instead. Ask if she is a member of G.A.G. too. She will tell you that the insects are the problem. Now go to Camelot by teleport or on foot and go to the Catherby allotment. Talk to Dantaera and ask her the same question. She says that the problem is from the various adventurers planting crops in her fields. Now walk to the fruit tree patch on the east end of Catherby beach and talk to Ellena there. Ask her about the problems with farming. She says the reason is the seasons. 2. Now, go to Ardougne and walk to the allotment north of the city. Talk to Kragen looking after the allotments and ask if he is a member of G.A.G. He says the reason is the fairies. Now go back to Draynor Village and talk to Martin. He will tell you to go to the lost city, Zanaris, in Lumbridge Swamp. To do this, first remember to take your dramen staff with you! WearEquip it and go to the wooden house in the south-central part of Lumbridge Swamp which you entered in the Lost City quest. When you enter the house, you will be transported to Zanaris. Walk south and talk to the Fairy Godfather. He's small and there are large trees in the room, so you may have to look for him. Ask him where the queen is and proceed west through Zanaris. Go to the room north of the bank of Zanaris and talk to Fairy Nuff. 4. Get the items he asked you to get and go talk to the Nature Spirit in the grotto on the small island in the southern part of Mort Myre Swamp. If you have any food items that you need to take to him, you should bring a filled druid pouch with you or they will rot. Remember to take your Ghostspeak Amulet with you! Talk to the Nature Spirit and ask him to bless your secateurs. Now, go back to Zanaris and proceed southwest then all the way south to a room where the Zygomites are located. to the Cosmic Temple ruins. Go through the hole in the western wall in this room. You will emerge into a long, winding tunnel. Proceed to a room at the end of the tunnel where you will find several baby Tanglefoot creatures and the large 111 Tanglefoot. While avoiding the babies, wear your magic secateurs and kill the level 111 Tanglefoot. Pick up the Queen's secateurs that the Tanglefoot drops. Now head back to the Fairy Godfather and speak to him. Quest Complete.
