  1. Trees are good xp per actual effort put in, but it really depends if your bothered about cost. If not, simply grow the best crops you can and find another thing to do at the same time (alching, fishing etc).

Herb runs are also a viable option, as you will turn a profit this way, but require more effort and attention.

On a final note, theres a really good guide on this site:

  2. Well you catch rainbow rainbow fish by fly fishing, just with slightly more expensive bait (stripy feathers), and slightly higher xp. As for whether its better xp than slamon/trout, whilst i havent tested them, if you follow the trend within this skill, i reckon xp/ hour will be lower.

  3. What really annoyed me is when a user of the tip it forums kept annoying me and patronising me and ruined my birthday party.

They then kept annoying me and spewing out hatred and spam and talking as if they knew everything and constantly picking at everything i say and commenting negatively on it.

Heres the link for anyone interested...

Maybe its just a case of sour grapes, but the actual thread is very different to 'spewing out hatred and spam'. A lack of sympathy possibly, but perhaps your over reacting...

  4. ^

OT, i agree with this. It seems especially pointless when it lists the bosses you've defeated. It would be like Slayer updating it everytime you completed a task, or fishing updating whenever you got a 'giant' fish (used in con).

  5. I definately agree with the att/def pots being added to F2p, as it would give them a full set (which seems fair).

The bones thing however? I'm not too convinced this would work. As previously stated, it would mean unlimited prayer in certain areas of the game, which could lead to overcrowding in already popular training spots (especially in F2p).

  6. Basically in the title. I have noticed (as i am sure some of you have) that currently you cannot state your total level using quick chat.

Whilst not exactly game breaking, i can't exactly see why its been ommitted. Any particular reason (or oversight on my behalf)?

  7. Possibly ;)

But i think they refer to speed rather than equipment used.

Also, as far as im aware, some of my friends take 1 prayer pot, and high prayer boosting armour, and are able complete at least 1 trip w/ that.

  8. Personally, the Tackle Boxes didnt really appeal in the first place, as they took quite a bit of effort to achieive, and their actual use was pretty unimportant.

But OT, i support the suggestions, as they would turn a relitavely insignificant item into one which would be worth putting in the effort to achieve.

    70 att

    71 str

    67 def

    43 prayer

    63 mage

    72 hp

I know not the best, but my stats are not bad by any means, and I did a run last night of 40 trips...

Hmmm, my stats are pretty similar to yours, yet a lot of people ive talked to have suggested i wait until i have 75+ melee (and range) stats before attempting barrows. Maybe train a bit so you can do a run more effeciently?

  10.

Trade limits<---communist regime and no interactions with other players=dead community

    Ge=same as above

So what, an alive community is one where you spend two hours standing in w2 shouting, 'selling 500 shark!' ?

  11. Having not obtained any skill capes myself so far, i cannot really comment on the relative difficulties. However, i would certainly say that cooking is probably the easiest skill cape to acheive, closely followed by fletching. Heck, it took me 2 weeks to get 84 fletch so somehow i dont see the 99 being very hard (not that im going for it).

  12. for an 85... there isnt much choice lol - slay or fire giants or something

This, definately. I had a slayer task of fire giants, and i quickly found that gold charms are an incredibly common drop, possible even 1/3 kills.

  13. It decreases the chance of a crop dying per growth cycle, increases the minimum harvest, and increases the general yield.

No reason to not use supercompost on any herbs/flowers, really.

    This

OP : on fruit trees/trees it will decrease the chance of getting disease, whilst also decreasing the growing time, so definately worth using.

  14. The RSOF (Runescape official forums) is a very popular forum and you will have to bump your topic by making a post on it every now and then to keep it on the first few pages of the subforum. Usually people will only look at the topics on the first few pages.

    This.

Also, im not sure if your aware, but a lot of areas within the game only really become useful/accesible after certian quests, so although the world is big it isnt as massive as it seems. As you do more quests more areas will become unlocked, and eventually the world will become the full size you see. (The prime example i could think of here is Isafdar and Lletya)
