Guest Roast
I had spent 15 mil on preparations for a house party, not even including training construction beforehand, i trained construction to 72, i did lots of quests, i got a crystal saw, i spent months on moneymaking, all in preparation for my player owned house, i even got 2 throne rooms, a gilded altar with marble burners and a mahogany eagle lecturn, and today in the events thread, it just got cancelled... CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!! ALL THAT EFFORT AND MONEY WASTED!!!!Now i'll probably just spend my birthday sitting in my room on my own doing nothing... Please post here if you support allowing birthday parties being advertised on the events section of the tip it forums. Thanks in advance for the support. Kiriyama
http://forum.tip.it/topic/263232-canceled/ For those who wish to see the original topic. For those who can't be bothered clicking, another user brought up concerns about the OP giving away his date of birth, especially when you consider his age, he obviously didn't understand the question, so I put it across in another way. Which then lead the OP to believe we all hate birthdays, and spawned this thread. But really..Says some things about his life if on his birthday, he has to celebrate it with strangers on a game. langer
I think the OP needs to experience more birthdays before trying to get support for a rant like this. He obviously cancelled his own party because he couldn't stand arguying with people trying to help him. It's a case of growing up a couple years, which is inevitable in this part of the galaxy. Kiriyama
Aww..How cute.. He thinks he's being all grown up and wise. And yes, I did read the topic before I made my statements, and I stick by them. The only reason you made this thread is because you think people who are mainly concerned about your safety when you give out such information easily are "haters". Kiriyama
Firstly, we have an edit function here. Secondly, as anyone will point out, there was no hatred on the original thread, which I even helpfully linked to, well, maybe my last post after you said there was hatred would count as a little, but anyway.. Lastly, yeah..Edit function, useful to know how to use it. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Kiriyama
Funny, you've said you're leaving this topic on multiple occasions..Still here though. And really, why should I wish you a happy birthday? I do not know you, so it is meaningless.. Go out and celebrate your birthday with some mates, rather than do it all online. Bladewing
Wow I read the other topic and I don't even. The only one lashing out in pent up frustration was you - when someone suggested you may have exposed yourself to identity theft, you lashed out by canceling your party and throwing a fit. I think you need a few more birthdays before you can handle the stress of hosting one. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
Omali
There are over 340,000 people born into this world every day. -Considering that the average human life span is 67.2, this means that on any given day I may opt to attend around 22.8 million birthdays.-By distribution of population, as well as life expectancy per region, 913,000 of those birthdays will take place in the United States. Daily.-Further dwindling it down, I can find five thousand birthdays daily in my very own New York State.-Slightly over three thousand will be for white families, and slightly under eight hundred will be for black families. -Half will be female.-Slightly less than half will not be celebrating in a house they own. -Fourteen hundred families will not be speaking English at this gathering. -One thousand will have not graduated high school. -Eleven hundred will not be old enough to go gambling on their birthday, and seven hundred will be old enough to dine from the 65+ menu at their birthday restaurant of choice, and will likely do so because their son/daughter is picking up the tab and they don't want to be "too much of a burden."-If I'm lucky, I can find the single daily birthday for the Alaskan native living in New York. So assuming you don't live in New York, that leaves me with and average of 5,013 strangers, every day, who will not whine if myself and another group of strangers don't attend their birthday parties. Why the hell should I pay you any notice? I want you to think long and deep about that, and yes the above statements are accurate based on 2009 statistics, with a margin of error of 3%.
