  1. How did you deduce these? Well, since the gloves are henceforth damaged over time by failed pickpocket attempts, the said material I placed were some things I put there that will affect the overall success rate of pickpocketing. And, of course, they will help you maintain your gloves longer before inevitable destruction. =]
  2. I have done my calculations through writing down notes and taking times in my Note section on my Runescape character. I had to make such broad amounts due to the single, double and triple loot stealing abilities that come with higher Agility. I pickpocketed while on my worn equipment section. The game now automatically informs you when your Gloves of Silence have fallen within the last stage before complete disappearance( In which I have placed in the earlier message. =P ). So far I have done said calculations only twice, but I am planning 100,000 more steals within the next 20 days. Making the equivelant of over 140 pairs of gloves. I will continue to make notes within my gaming to try to further help the cause.
  3. Hello, Here is some new information I seem to have discovered by placing notes while pickpocketing Knight of Ardougne(Level 46)'s; I am level 90+ Thieving. Here are the statistics so far: Gloves of silence will decay from the "new" status into the "good condition" status after you are first caught stealing. Gloves of Silence start last stage of decay after quite a few pickpocket failures( For me this was 700 successful pickpcokets at 87 Thieving w/ Adrougne Diary 2 cape). At this point they should be fixed, or risk them being "worn out", or destroyed. Once in this stage, you are safe to hold them until you continue pickpocketing again. The gloves will disappear the next time you are caught pickpocketing. Your success at pickpocketing is different for every player, depending on (a.) Your Thieving level, (b.) Ardougne Diary Cape [2 or higher] (c.) The difficulty of the NPC you are attempting to steal from and (d.) Any consumables that temporarily raise level. - Equipping a new pair of gloves when your pair becomes weakened does not reset the measure of decay. Your character has a set amount of glove decay and it memorizes the amount( good try =P ). So buying a new pair will NOT reset the old ones. One pair must thus be fully used or repaired to refresh the next pair of gloves. I hope that this information will be helpful for making an addition to the Tips & Tricks under the Thieving Skill Guide. P.S. Any information presented was nonchalantly updated through the utilization of the Notes section and does not specifically harbour further notes of the multiple loot system (sorry...) for the time being.
