It could be about Adblock, but If it is, I don't mind the bugs. If you still want ads, you can just whitelist runescape.com.

Oh lol, I remember all the rage directed at miniclip kids. Delicious tears.
-
No sir, I don't like it.

This game will be exactly like world of legends imo.. Ridiculously high CS items.
WoL isn't jagex game, just published. And it's already stated that SD will be subscription based like runescape.

What browser are you using? Are you using any plugins to "speed" up the internet by caching? Looks to me like the css didnt load properly to tell the browser what divs go where. Try doing a forced refresh and see if that solves it.
Just firefox, no such addons that i know of. As I said, it doesn't happen all the time. Force reload did work this time.

This is how the RS homepage looks for me. I've heard others have had the same issue. Half the time I load the page, It looks like this.
Do many have this problem, or am I just one among a few?

I don;t see how its such a big inconvenience to slaying. (dg rewards aside)
Alot of quick tele routes invovle going through your house; so just take some coins pop to the workshop grab a hammer and fix it. Plus this way its up to 50% cheaper.
You get the money on the task itself, and the hammer is already in the house.

Degradation is a grindy game mechanic. It's the same reason why people hate temporary guns in those [cabbage] f2p shooters.
If you're the type of person who doesn't see a problem in grinding for months to get a 90+ skill, then you won't understand why people don't like degradation. Once you quit the game and/or obtain some understanding of fun game design, then you'll realize why people don't like it.
welcome back to the Runescape section
I hardly find repairing an item once every....month....a grind, especially when the repairing takes at most 20 seconds.
As for the months for a 90+ skill, most skills don't take months, but I do agree to a point.
A lot of the skills in this game I really don't mind spending time doing, since they're either fun, or afkable, so I can do other things anyways while I do them.
The only 3 skills I've ever had a problem with are Runecrafting, agility and Hunter, because I don't find them fun, and they aren't afkable. Which explains why they're among my lowest stats :P
You can multitask(not afk) agility and runecrafting with watching movies. Hunter, not so much.

So I'm gonna make this into a spot where I post my drawings and works in progess if I feel like it.
This is just a sketch I did of nex on the first and second day Nex was released.
Next up, something I'm drawing per request. It's Black rock shooter crossed with some blazblue girl nu(?).
Next, something I drew just to practice making linearts and colouring. I'm not satisfied with that ugly hair.

It's just an inconvenience. People slaying a lot have to recharge quite often with barrows.
-
There's only two items that interest me, and I dont have any of them. Bunny ears and scythe. I wish I had them.
-
If you can make 1m/hr it's viable. Or just use bandos, since it doesn't degrade. And be honest. do you need an Lp set to play?

From RuneWIKI:
Mmmmmhhhhh
ffff... That is ugly. That helmet has an automatic mustache. How will it look on females?

If people used BGS specials (perhaps even ZGS) and throwing knives I reckon it wouldn't be too bad. Noone's reported about the cannon yet I believe, and if that works (I doubt it though) it would be even better too. Also what about emerald bolts (e) on the mages? I'm quite clueless because I haven't been able to have a chance to go down myself though, so just throwing ideas out there. :P Just videos aren't enough really.
I predict that someone will find a safespot and solo it like what happened to the Corp Beast. :P
A safespot for a boss that teles and has four minions? It's called not-anywhere-near-nex.
-
If you think about it, not really. A poison is something that tends to destroy, or deteriorate health. A virus, such as a computer virus, is essentially the same thing. It's goal is to deteriorate the "health" of your computer, by replicating itself over and over, gathering information it can, and ultimately harming your computer. You can't look at things in a narrow scope. You need to connect dots some times.
A virus does not have a goal to detoriate the health of the host. It only happens to do so. It's goal is to spread and survive. As it does, it evolves, Which may hurt the host or hurt another type host. Though, computer viruses are made for the sole purpose of modifying the hosts.

anybody tried cannon?
If cannon was actually possible it would be much, much easier.
-
Nex supposedly dropped Big bones and 500 coal.
-
Yeah. IT's now more or less confirmed you need to keep the minions in the corners killed. THey attack with magic. IF you don't kill them, Nex takes 1 damage only (possibly you could hit her with the deflect+verac bug).
Nex has a special attack where she charges one of the diagonals of the room (probably) hitting everyone in the way.
Also, I made a sketch of Nex.
-
I want more pictures of nex.
-
I don't see the update counter, eh.
-
there's no official chat because Tip.it can't regulate it.

@ Above, its because of the Vearcs.
It's been a bug for some time now actually. I reported it like 1-2 months after curses came out, and it has yet to be fixed.
Basically how it works is, every Barrows set has a random effect. The effect activates on game ticks, and lasts for a period of time past just combat ticks. Sometimes the Verac's effect, which ignores prayer and defense, will still be active when the deflect damage is calculated, and it treats the deflect as a normal hit. This is why you see the deflect show such high damage.
The bug itself is semi-rare due to the fact it cannot be "forced", since you have to rely on the random special activating at *just* the right time for it to work.
Uhm I doubt this woudl be true:
dharock training with reflects would yield massive deflects then! - Might actually mean the fastest way to kill single combat monsters?
No, it has to do with verac's ability to bypass defense and prayers. If that effect kicks in, you get the bit on a deflect. What this means is that the deflect is calculated with a defense/prayer reduction, which is the cause of it. The verac set effect removes that "limiter" and gives you the high hit.
Other sets don't have that effect, and would not be affected.

It will be so much fun if nex will simply stomp all the suiciders with it's special attacks.
-
They could actually leave that in the game to be honest. Just to give an incentive to use a set of barrows again.

It has nothing to do with the PC. It's probably the connection as you suspect, and as you already said you're getting a new one, I can't give you any other advice.
