New Light : The Journey of Gesan : PLEASE VIEW THIS THREAD IN: CleanCut. Thank you! Prologue The eyes of a young boy opened to a unbearable shine from the midday sun. As he reached to cover his sensitive eyes, an impenetrable force halted his motion. Fear built within the young boys gut, unknowing of what had just happened. Attempting the same action but with the other hand, his motion was ceased once more. Confused indeed was the young boy. After laying underneath the sun for only moments longer, the young boy attempted to lift his muscular build to the heavens. Once again the young boy was brought back down. Like the roar of an enraged beast, the young boy called for help. Nobody would answer the cries of an innocent child. There was no longer a point in wasting valuable strength; nobody would come to rescue him. What is this happening to me? That is all the young boy could say to himself. Nothing he had done in his lifetime should have resulted in such a horrific encounter with the Gods. Before giving up hope, the young boy released one last cry for help Appearing before him was a dark and misty explosion! The young boys face was nothing more than a shock. After the dark explosion began to wear off, a figure could be seen appearing from within the darkness. The figure said nothing for nearly an entire period of day; all the figure did was stare in some sort of trance at the young boy. At one point, as the sky began to turn to black, the young boy in a solemn tone asked, W-, what am I doing here? Why are you standing there? No response was made by the figure. But as the sky turned perfectly black, and the stars could once more be seen by the naked eye, the figure moved. The young boy could hear the rustling of the grass growing louder and louder. He attempted once more to break free from the chains of the Gods, but it was no use. Moments later though, the rustling would stop. No noises would be heard again The young boy could no longer keep his eyes from shutting. As his eyelids drooped lower, the sense of a presence above grew greater. Was it the figure he had seen before? No The Gods And from there, the young boy understood what was to be asked of him. He was brought here for a reason. That reason is to deploy on a journey through the unknown. And by journeying through this unknown, the secrets of the past would be revealed It has been your destiny all along, young child. Fulfill the prophesy that has been passed from And the Gods were gone. This journey had no defined route. It was the young boys duty to discover this destined path And that destiny began many years ago, and continues forth today Before You Read > The most important piece of information to know before reading further is that I will be updating this thread of mine each and every day. This is important to know because if you are one of those people who are always looking for something to read while playing Runescape, or have a free moment to spare, I will always have an update here for you! In these updates I make each day, I will probably not only talk about Runescape. You are probably going to find some real life information as well, such as how school and other activities are going for me. If you are not one of those people who enjoy reading such information, you can always stop reading after I talk about what I did in Runescape that day. Any information about my real life will be placed at the end of each update to accompany this desire. > When writing these updates each day, I take a lot of time to do so. These updates not only include just content (such as text and pictures) but even mathematical calculations. These calculations could include how much money I lose or gain for performing a specific task, as well as how much experience I gain in a certain period of time. Things like this take a tremendous amount of time, but I believe information like this is very important to perfecting tactics while playing Runescape, as well as allowing the players to see the complex version of Runescape. Just like above, any information involving mathematical calculations will be placed at the end of each update to accompany any desire not to view this content. > Hopefully there are those players who really enjoy reading updates each day. After reading updates, there are those players who would like to leave a message of some sort, whether it is to wish somebody luck on a specific goal, or even to criticize! I love to read player's posts! It is something that makes my Runescape experience that more enjoyable. So, if have some spare time while playing Runescape, or even when performing other daily tasks, I would greatly some sort of message from all of you out there! At the end of each day, I will spend some time before going to sleep for the night answering your messages. Hopefully you will check back at a later date to view my response. If you take the time to write post, wouldn't it be logical to view the response? I think so! Achievements When creating this account, I decided that there would be no defined goals. This is because when someone, in my opinion, creates goals for themselves, these goals do not serve the purpose of making that one person happy. When I play this account, I will play the way I wish to play and not based on me limiting myself because of one specific aspect of the game. Each day, I will update this Achievements section with pictures of what I did that day in Runescape, as well as an extensive blog specifically discussing what is going on and how I have accomplished things in the game. 04 / 18 / 2010 : Day 1 of the Journey Today, I began everything with the creation of a Runescape account known as Gesan. There is no reasoning behind this choice of name. I will be playing Gesan as a free player for the time being, until I reach certain levels in each free player skill. From there, I will purchase a membership for this account, and continue forward with my long list of expectations. The first thing I was required to do was complete the Quest "Unstable Foundations." After completing the Quest, I was reward with 1 Quest point, and Level 4 Mining. I decided then to begin working on combat. To raise my combat skills (Attack, Strength, and Defence), I would kill level 1 chickens, located near Fred the farmer. After killing almost 100 chickens, I reached Level 10 Attack. On the way to reaching 10 Attack, I also reached Level 6 combat. More updates coming soon, check back later!
