  1. Another Post in a row, because like I said, the guide deserves it's own post. Things will be back to normal soon. I have moved on to red chinchompas, despite being level 65. They are not as slow as people think and I will get a bit extra money. My next goal after 99 hunter is 70 prayer, then I will either catch Kingly/Dragon Implings or go back to red chins and make either 111m(buying planks) and 71m(running planks from bought oak logs). It's a big job. 216310 planks, that is, without clay hammer. Thanks for reading, Nonillionare
  2. I know this is a double post but I though this deserved a whole new post. ~+~ Hunter: 1-99 Guide ~+~ Yes that's right a hunter guide from level 1 all the way to 99, fast xp. [Hide=Traps] Bird Snare Apparatus Required: Bird Snare To hunt birds click on the bird snare in your inventory, somewhere close to where the birds are flying. Walk a few paces away from the snare and watch. If a bird lands on the snare and is turned upside down, you have sucessfully caught the bird. Click on the snare to collect the bird and your xp. Set the snare back up again and repeat. If the bird lands but flies away you need to set up a trap again. Click on your snare to dismantle and set it up again. Sometimes a trap may fall over. You need to pick it up and set it up again. It is worth setting up snares in a bird's spawn location. Tracking Apparatus Required: Noose Wand To track start by searching a burrow with your Noose Wand equipped. A set of footprints should appear. Follow these to where they end. Search the searchable terrain around such as plants or stones for another set to appear. Keep repeting this procedure until you find something the hunted could be hiding in. You should catch your creature when you search that place. Butterfly Catching Apparatus Required: Butterfy Net and A few Butterfly Jars (If you are barehanded nothing is needed) To catch Butterflies wield your Butterfly net. Click on a butterfly to catch. You might not be able to catch your Butterfly in one, so just keep clicking to catch. If you have a high hunter and agility level you can catch butterflies barehanded. They are automatically released, so do not require either net or jar. It is just the same as normal butterfly catching without a net or jar. Deadfall Apparatus Required: Knife, Logs Apparatus Recommended: Bait(varies by creature), Hatchet First find a place that looks like piles of boulders or large rocks. Click on the boulder and wait. To bait the trap, use the bait on the trap. Once you have caught something click on the trap to get your animal and xp. If the trap falls set your trap up again. Net Traping Apparatus Required: Small Fishing Net, Rope Go to the hunter area and find a 'Young Tree'. Click on the Young Tree to set up trap. When you have caught something the trap will go up. Click on it to get your xp and animal. If it falls, pick up the rope and fishing net and start again. Pitfall Apparatus Required: Teasing Stick, Logs, Knife First set up your pitfall trap over a dip in the ground. Then poke the target with your Teasing Stick. The target animal will then follow you. Lead it onto the deadfall were it will be trapped. Be aware the animals can damage you, so cook bird meat or whatever and eat it. Box Trap Apparatus Required: Box Trap Set up your trap by clicking it. Creatures wil come into the boxes. Just as with most traps, click on the trap to get your stuff and xp. Also it can fail. If a creature pauses it can make the trap go off early. Click on it and set it up again. Falconry Apparatus Required: Falcon(obtained from Matthias at the Falconry area for 500gp) Note: Gloves, Shields and weapons cannont be equipped. Go to the falconry place near the woodland hunting area and hire a falcon from Matthias. Click on a Kebbit and your falcon wil catch it. You then get fur and xp Ferret Flushing Apparatus Required: Ferret OR box trap, Rabbit Snare Extra Requirement: Completion of Eagle's Peak Get a ferret by box trapping it in the Eagle's peak area. Set up Rabbit Snare outside warren exits then use the ferret on another hole. The rabbit will hopefully run into one of your snares. Note: Ferrets can be lost so bring spares or a box trap. Hope It was helpful. Thanks for reading, Nonillionare
  3. Thanks, most encouraging Anyways, I haven't got a decent internet connection until Monday so there won't be an update but I will continue to update my blog. As you might have noticed, I've added some pictures of me hunting, not many about 3. More are to come when I get my internet back. Thanks for reading Nonillionare  EDIT 1: Title bar added! Thanks for reading Nonillionare
  4. Thanks! That's encouraging, not only the wonderful post but also the fact people are reading this. I'm not able to paly today, real life interferes often, so don't expect much to have happend. I might post some pics of me hunting though Thanks for reading Nonillionare:grin:
  5. Sorry about the triple post. I'm up now to 59 hunter and I've moved on to Red salamanders. I've worked out using Tip.it's calculators that I need to get around 3.5k salamanders for 75. I'll be there for a while. I should get faster though and I've got things to help me such as Bleach and the lovely people on clan chat. Also, from 75-99 I need to catch about 40k red/carnivorous chinchompas. I thought this would be ridiculously profitable but it is nowhere near my goal of 102m. At least I'll be able to buy a whip  I've heard greenwalls are really profitable, should I go for them after 99? At 1k per greenwall spike I might. Maybe get 200m xp  Anyways, thanks for reading Nonillionare:grin:
  6. Yeah, Pictures coming soon, in fact, very soon. I'll take some screenies, make the banner. It'll be a whole new blog. Some pics may be up tonight. I am planning on doing the Hunter in stages. Like I said, I could not possibly do it in one, that would be insane. I'll take breaks fairly often, when I get bored, I'll just go and do some quests or play activities. Thanks for reading my blog  . Nonillionare EDIT 1:This is only a quick post to say a things. 1- Pics have been postponed a while. I've tried to get round to it but real life (as well as Runescape ) has eaten into my time. I'll definitely get then up, just not now. 2- My Hunter level is now 39, so I am on the high scores and it shows on my goal thing now. 3- Net trapping Swamp Lizards is great exp from 29, If you are 29-47, or working for a level between 29-47, go for swamp lizards. Really fast xp, I got from 29 to 39 in about 45 minutes - 1h. they are also ok profit (1k each), so if you feel like sacrificing a bit of xp for cash, it's still good. Tbh, I'm looking forward to this  Thanks for reading, Nonillionare  EDIT 2:Just a quick update to say I've reached level 54 Hunter, and have moved on to orange salamanders. Again, great xp. I'm obviously not gaining levels as quickly, as I am higher. but the xp is still really fast, especailly with 3 traps on the go. I completed Eagle's peak, that was supposed to be in the last post bit I forgot :wall: A title bar and some pics should be up fairly soon, I keep saying that, but real life keeps interrupting. I already have pics of me bird hunting and doing eagles peak, just need to add some more. I have a plan devised for my training: Continue with orange salamanders until 59, when I can do red salamanders (I should be 59 by the end of tomorrow) Do red sallies until 75 when I can do red chinchompas all the way up to 99. This should bring in looads of money, and exp. I might be a bit ambitious, but if I work hard I may get 99 within 4 weeks. Thanks for reading Nonillionare
  7. Hi, welcome to my blog. Many of you will not know me unless you are on the Hyt chat which, as long as I'm logged on, I'm there. I started playing Runescape about 5 or 6 years ago, but this account I've had for about 2 years with about a 1 and a quarter (that's a fourth for people who call it that) year break. I've been poor pretty much all the time, I've only once had 1m at a time, back when I used to flax spin loads. I decided to change a few days ago. Most people call me Nonillionare, Non or Nony, I'm not bothered which My main aim right now is 99 Hunter, even though I've been told by people to get my other stats up. After I'm looking to get 99 construction with the money I make from hunter, as construction is my favourite skill. I hope to get hunter fairly soon, but I'm going to be patient. The reason I started this blog is to keep myself motivated, otherwise I will get very quickly bored, but also to share what I do with others. So, about hunter. I remember the release of hunter, not so long ago. At the time I thought it was useless and I was disappointed but now I have realised the moneymaking potential. It isn't the hardest or most expensive, which is mainly what drew me to hunter. Certainly, it isn't my favourite skill, that title goes to construction, but it is now quite highly ranking. I like it because of the variety and little effort that goes into it. Summoning for example is a lot of work getting charms, which is why I didn't go for it instead of hunter. Also skills like mining require a fair amount of concentration and are highly repetitive, so I can't watch Bleach whilst mining. Hunter however requires less concentration, more waiting, perfect for doing other things like learning Japanese or Welsh (Strange combo). I quite enjoy hunter, I wouldn't like to sit through 'til 99 hunter with no one to talk to or nothing to watch and that's where Hyt chat and Bleach come in. I'm not going to do this in one burst, I might take some time off to do skills, quests or activities. I'm sure getting from 25 to 99 hunter in one blast would probably kill me, so I won't do it. [hide]Crimson Swift Hunting: Eagle's Peak: Orange Salamander Hunting: [/hide] Here's my Goal thingy, I'm at 25 hunter so not on the high scores. Keep that in mind for now. General skills wise I am not the highest. I don't really train lots, I just do what I want, which is why most of my stats are so low. Here's a Stats sig; Levels that aren't on that: Ranged - 50 Prayer - 38 Woodcutting - 55 Mining - 52 Herblore - 51 Farming - 21 Runecrafting - 18 Hunter - 25 Summoning - 17 Dungeoneering - 16 So, expect many more posts, I might post daily or even more, as long as I have internet acess I will try Thanks for reading my blog, and read on, Nonillionare Join me on Hyt chat, cc name: Lady Heinous
