1. Why is there such a distinct lack of GMT clans in the top 10?
They only fight in their timezone which makes it difficult for them to fight other top clans who fight GMT+EST.
2. Do you think that a GMT clan is ever going to make it into the top 3/5?
No. They're timezone limits them too much.
3. Is there any one reason why EST clans seem to flourish so much more than their GMT counter parts?
They have both EST+GMT members making them more versatile.
4. Why aren't the majority of clans GMT based, and as such why are most wars not fought at a time that is more suitable to GMTers?
The clan world is more EST based so clans are EST based and not GMT based.
This, And to answer someone's question about "I don't know why GMT people join Est based clans", It's because all the Est based clans have more of a chance of being/breaking into/in the top 10, And that in itself an attraction for them to join over being in an GMT clan, But for those who can't war in Est time zones then there the ones who join GMT clans.

Goodluck at your pvp events if you do. Alot of people Bot and alot of them bots have other accounts, So don't expect to make a difference, All you'll do is hurt your bank because they will hunt you on your every pvp trip. Again, Goodluck. ;-)

Grats Downfall, what happened to your pull though? I thought you were pulling steady 30+~
we have like 3 brits/gmters in Downfall and this was at 2pm Est on a sunday.
Tbh i was happy with our pull, I expected less looking at the sign ups.

Haven't personally heard of Monocromatic, but it looks as if they have a really bright future if they can pull 30/36 of their memberlist. Hope to hear more about them.Well done FD despite the numerical disadvantage. :thumbup:

Your pulls have been pretty nice and your organization is good, all you have to do is take it to the wilderness more often.
I'm pretty sure DF have beaten every clan TK managed to beat in the wilderness, and considering TK had to close and reopen as a PVP clan you shouldn't really be telling them to PVP mate.

What exactly would be the reason your not in PVP. Its 2010, no troll intented, just a question on interest.
Sometimes we'll do Pvp, sometimes we'll sit back and enjoy a cwa war.
What we do is nothing to be concerned about by you. We do what ever we want(To an extent) not what other clan's want us to do.
Personally I sometimes wonder to myself how clans would cope if cwa was removed again, or even multiway BH came about once more. Either way, I post and concern myself about what I want. Going off my memory, of when I was in downfall. There was always a clan that would prevent downfall from going into Pvp. First it was DK then PH then TK now that they have all gone, or lost interest in you. Shouldn't Pk trips be constant within Downfall, or is there still something holding you back. I mean, personally I've seen downfall do wars in PvP and for that I congratulate you, however I'm more then sure that you making 2 clans which are far better then yourselves has ended with you camping cwa. Those two clans would have to be Solace - but it seems they lost interest with downfall, and Gladz.
I highly doubt you could blame being a small clan either. I've seen on numerous occiasions that clans such as Collision, Blacknights, Gladz, Poison and probably others have gone out pking and found action within wild. Each of those clans either has 5 less or 10 more members then yourself. This is without counting your retireds or inactives if you still have that list.

Edit: There is more to a clan than just F2p Pvp, Maybe Tk died because that's all they ever did (No flame intended of course) :|.

We havn't been in the wilderness because yes tbh we're all scared that Gladz will come hit us and kill our clan we're really sorry about that.

Solace, CR, BK, Runescape Elites, Collision, Gladz, The Rising, Poison, 'THE', The Moon Clan, and Ascension could all be potential good fights for Downfall in the PvP arena. I'm looking forward to seeing those fights in the future. :thumbup:Good fight BK.
Well take it from a person who isnt that big of a fan of CWA.. and is still in Downfall - I wouldn't go as far as labeling us as a strictly CWA clan. We do PvP and we do have PvP wars.. and from what I've noticed, the biggest challenge has been finding appropriate clans to war in PvP...Gladz. Here is what I will tell you. Downfall Will not fight you. They bearly do pvp as it is. Your wasting your time, do more constuctive things, or find a better rival that will actually give u a challenging fight, don't go after a clan that isn't afraid to home itself in CWA.Erh, I'd like to see you fighting CR .

Gladz has been dying for ages now and you're half the reason they are probably. They used to be an honour clan yes, but you have just completly made Gladz this piece of [cabbage] they are today.
Making everything so serious, all your members are bored of it now yet you continue, they're just saying "Gf etc..." and all you can come out with is this crap. You are probably one of the worst clan officials I have ever seen.
Even your officials came, registered on our boards and had to apologize for your behaviour:
" I'll apologize for the way some of our members acted and responded to our loss. It was unacceptable what some of our members said after losing. I personally don't have a problem with you guys. Both of us were lagging at the fight. It wasn't just us.
Seeing as the outcome was so close, perhaps we can work on arranging a (clean) rematch in the future. If any Gladz members continue to flame you guys I'll see to it they're warned, and I expect your leaders do the same should any of your members flame us outside of your boards.
