  1. Incredible performance by the GB team sprint team and a real shame about the women's disqualification. Also Phelps is a god - there are definitely a lot of medals to be won in swimming but he is still an incredible athlete but also there is no denying he's beginning to be caught/slipping in his own performance but then again its only to be expected he is past his prime.

So I did some Runespanning today. Also some quick Trivia for any interested readers - the fastest way to quick start in barbarian assault is for a member of the team to do the turkey emote as the last 'All the Penance Creatures were killed' message comes up, this will cause them to leave the team instantly and can then be re-recruited without having to leave and re-enter the room as most people do to quick start.

    What an incredible banner eh?

This is the start of my blog - I've decided to start a blog to keep myself focused on my current goals and to give me somewhere to record my RS achievements and ramble on about things I hope its enjoyed and please feel free to comment.

    My Runescape Story:

(I was previously known as Cheatings) I started playing RS in 2005 having heard about it from Habbo Hotel. To begin with in RS all I did was woodcut I would cut willows in Draynor Village and marvel at how rich the people who came to buy them must be and thinking I was pretty awesome for making 35k for cutting 1k of willows. In the summer of 2005 I bought membership for the first time and finally did something other than woodcutting I quit RS for the first time after the summer and wasn't to return until the release of summoning.

I broke my arm playing Rugby about a month before Summoning was released and got seriously back into RS (as its quite easy to play 1-handed compared to other games) I powered through the levels, made my first million selling chickens on the grand exchange for new summoners and discovered my love of barrows - I barely left barrows for the next couple of months making almost 100m before packing it in and moving on to my next love Castle Wars.

Of my total game time I would estimate roughly half of it has been spent in CW and I haven't even played much of it since 2010. I played CW in the height of the 'IP Days' when your IP address used to determine how fast you could click a secret unknown to the vast majority of RS players and closely guarded by the CW clans. I made some brilliant friends during my CW days and enjoyed the boost to my e-ego of hanging around with some of RS's richest and most famous players.

From Castle Wars I moved on to Barbarian Assault and spent another ridiculous amount of time here competing in hundreds of 10 wave races and finally high gambling my way to a D-Chain and generally have a wail of a time in BAA.

At some point in early 2011 I looked at the state of my RS account over 65 days game play, under 20 million total experience and a total level under 1500 - I wanted better. The summer of 2011 saw me leave behind my minigame days and concentrate on levelling my character. In a matter of months I had gained 400 total levels, achiever 95 Prayer and 92 Herblore as well as finally completing RFD and passing 110 Combat but again I was bored of RS and quit that summer as I had plenty of festivals to go to and IRL was keeping my busy.

I returned to RS this year in the wake of my A-levels bored in the long holiday with my friends all abroad and this blog is my progress from that point on.

Me IRL: I'm 18 male from the UK recently finished my A-Levels and if I achieve 3 A's will be going to medical school this September. I play Rugby for my county and love to fell run and walk the hills of the Lake District and Scotland. I'm massively into dance music particularly dutch house and trance producers have just got back from my second holiday to Ibiza and looking forward to a good weekend at Creamfields later this summer and struggling to contain my excitement for Tomorrowland next year. I love ancient roman history (particularly the fall of the Republic) and that's about all I'm going to say.

  4. If you want to kill rock lobsters get 2 more mage levels and overload boost so that you can barrage this will greatly increase your charms/hr. CT WFs are not a bad choice either especially with goliath's and a titan. If you are going for max cape you should really slay. For a bit of variety you could look up Tieszen's KBD guide.

  5. Britain is the most influential country since Ancient Rome/Italy so why not concentrate it all on the UK. Bite me.

The US is only an extension of British Culture and would not exist without us.

    I'm joking.

  6. Well my evidence for this is some SAS Survival Secrets show so perhaps they liked to hype it up a bit. As far as I can tell from some quick research (no, not just google) and asking my brother - a fourth year med student. Vaseline can help close wounds like lacerations from barbed wire etc but is mainly used for after care as it allows the wound to heal quicker and application of Vaseline means it is less likely to scar.

  7. Right - I obviously don't recommend going 'Oh look at that nasty gash you've got there lets quickly smack some vaseline on that and bung it right up!' also its not some miraculous piece of equipment its not going to close up that deep gash the maniac with the katana gave you but its still pretty good for closing deeper wounds to risk of infection (after washing etc..). Its used because Vaseline has a hell of a lot of uses so for instance in a small combat team (Scout Snipers or Special Forces) its easier to carry and more versatile than your suture kit.
