I've only recently started going to gwd, but I'm never sure whether to bring my ss or whip with a rune defender ( or d sq shield). Any hints? And advice on weapon choice for each different boss would be much appreciated. I'm 100 combat, all melée levels over 75. Thanks heaps.

But I do think that more variety in slayer would be good, instead if just hours of killing mundane monsters

Jagex states in the October behind the scenes that a new hunter animal to catch will be introduced, that gives summoning charms when caught. Charms are one of the big benefits of slayer after all. :)

I'll give support if this idea is still out there
