  1. You missed the point. The picture is purely for example, he isn't really trying to show Pros vs elite. The point would be to compare full sets...like bandos vs dragon. No, i didn't miss the point at all, just that as an example, what he posted is awful, and as they say, a picture says a thousand words. And well, we already have ALOT of stat comparison 'thingys' on many fansites, i don't see the reason to waste jagex'es time and nerves on creating one because this guy is lazy. Haha, its not laziness that made me think of this, just efficiency. I'd rather spend a much smaller amount of time comparing various setups then checking each individual item at a time. And even as an example its not awful. As SirIzenhime said, I'm not actually trying to compare those two armours, I'm just showing what itd look like. Plus, since this idea would work better than other stat comparions at certain times, there obviously isnt enough stat comparison 'thingys' ;)
  2. For one, the picture is just to show what its like, im not trying to show people what would be a better setup for anything inparticular. And I think its useful for comparing all the different stats between a few items, not just one stat at a time as you keep switching between them. So like you can have a look and notice that although one stat is better, another one is worse and you can decided whether its worth changing or whatever. Just on a whole setup scale.
  3. Hi! I've posted this on the official runescape forums, but I decided I'd see what you all thought too! My idea has been inspired by the latest update which allows you to compare single items. I thought, wouldn't it be better if you could compare whole gear setups? I decided to mock up a picture of it, and I think it turned out quite well. The idea is that when opening the Equipment Screen, there will be two setups shown. Firstly, the one you are currently wearing, then a second one which will start off with nothing on it. You will be able to click a tick box along the top of each setup to decide which is is the active one, and then when you equip an item it will appear on the active setup. Much like the single item comparison, the higher setup bonuses will be shown in white, whilst the lower (or same) remains orange. Also, if you want to quickly just equip a single item to the inactive setup, there will be a new right click option to the items "Set 1 *Item*" and "Set 2 *Item*" to allow you to quickly equip it without having to tick the inactive setup. I'd like to hear what you think, thanks! Edit: Maybe this could be an expandable option too, for those who already know exactly what theyre going to wear!
  4. Sorry, but I have to agree with xpx. Yep, first off, how many items are you switching inbetween prayer switches? You'll be switching too much to kill effeciently, and halberd < Godsword < Chaotic Weapons, unless you're very low level and fail at prayer switching, in which case you'd be better off somewhere else. Also, Ava's back = useless as if you're safe spotting it will not collect the bolts for you. Well if youre any good at switching it only takes a second to switch between them. Dum dum dummmmm. Seems I've failed completely bar one support, which I'm thankful for :P Sorry for having wasted peoples time :'( :'(
  5. Well I'm not sure if this one has been posted anywhere, but I think it's the best setup possible. Helmet: Void Ranger Helmet AND Void Melee Helmet Necklace: Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory > Amulet of Power Cape: Ava's Accumulator > Ava's Attractor Quiver: Ruby bolts(e), Diamond bolts(e) > Broad bolts > Emerald bolts(e) Chest: Elite Void Knight Torso > Void Knight Top AND Armadyl Chestplate > Karil's Top > Black D'hide Top Legs: Elite Void Knight Legs > Void Knight Bottom Ranged Weapon: Rune Crossbow > Zanik's Crossbow Melee Weapon: Dragon Halberd > Godsword Shield: Void Knight Deflector Gloves: Void Knight Gloves Boots: Dragon Boots or Ranger Boots > Snakeskin Boots Ring: Ring of Wealth (solo) > Archer Ring > Explorer's Ring So you start off wearing the full void, Void Ranger Helmet with Deflector and Armadyl Chestplate to range them, then when they switch to their protect from range prayer, equip the melee gear, whatever that may be, and the Void Knight Top. Keep switching between these as necessary. Hope you like it :)
