  1. Elias is about 17,5k Runecrafting xp away from claiming the title of Most 50m+ skills. It will be his 20th skill in the 50m+ xp range.......
  2. Thanks for the update Langer. And Suomi. Nice to see the fairplay and respect to other players :) Respect to that! :)
  3. Grats kingduffy for maxing :)
  4. Hey hey you :D Glad to see you join this topic :D And grats on maxing. I think quitting isn't always due to burnout reasons. Playing in moderation is only for those who still like this game over some of the other activities one might chose from. Satisfaction might be greater from real world sources as you get older, or not, but that's entirely dependent on the player in question. I tend not to see it at wasted time even though Runescape is a game. All interactions with other players, often with the same mindsets, xp goals and achievements, etc, are all traits we find in daily life. I believe that most players quit due to a change of heart, and you can't blame them: nothing is forever (except ranks once you get 200m xp in them unless Jagex decides to change that =D). As for myself, I still love Runescape, but promised myself to arrange my time in a more productive way where it can contribute to my own future development, as you already know Icy :) And others may have valued time in a more adult way as well (Zarfot, Allar, amongst others).
  5. And grats to JD for getting his 8th 200m skill...
  6. Hey Allar, I am glad that you decided to give another go at pursuing academics even though your previous attempt failed. I pretty much had the same thing, and resorted to RS. The only way to get further in life is to invest in your own knowledge. In my opinion, the best game to play isn't in fact RS, but life itself, and that particular game will have many similarities to RS but have greater fulfillment. I applaud your decision, with the foresight and hindsight of the notion that no virtual XP-gain, virtual Rank, virtual Money, virtual Status, virtual Accomplishments (etc.) can outweigh their counterparts and accomplishments in Real Life. We should all make our mark somewhere, but preferably in the world that we call Earth instead of in/on the map we call RuneScape. I hope your new studies will be enjoyable and a fine academic will rise out of you :) I am sure you will make your mark in real life as you have shown your leader-capabilities in RS. If you ever feel like discussing studies or anything academically related, as an old acquaintance (Kingio's chat) I am pretty much up for it. Kindest of regards and best of luck studying! Frommmars
  7. On another note more relevant to the topic: Kingduffy passed the 2b xp landmark :)
  8. It is coincidence. For Elias for example his cook rank lost at least 2 spots due to people being banned (2 in the top 20, including Uloveme). I know this because I too got rank 18 cook, but was rank 20 for the longest of time when I maxed cooking... So he couldn't have possible planned his rank 47 cook and therefore fletch and dung. It is pure coincidence. I think the same goes for suomi and magnus (who tried for a two digit top 100 spot I guess).
  9. Also, "Haha XP OCD" He has a frontpage rank too :o 'Lordreverse" was the first to successfully do so. After which others took over. The ones you mentioned have cooler lvl's though....
  10. Hey Paper, I don't know if you remember, but we had a little chit-chat in (i believe it was) petor's chat just as you were going for 200m fm, a long long time ago. I remember you telling me that you had the ambition and the stamina to get in top 10. Something I pretty much deemed virtually impossible in such a small time. But you had proven me and many others wrong. Unfortunately for me, I quit right after but became a hiscores-enthousiast. I have been checking in periodically on your progress and I can honestly say that your achievements can humble many. I am sure that there you have your reasons for being in a dip. But as many others said, you have grown into an icon for some, a hero for others. I strongly believe in the process of setting and achieving goals and you being a premier example of that, could and should feel pride of doing so. If you ever divert away from RS, just keep setting goals for yourself (such as self-improvement, like studies) and I am sure an overachiever like yourself will do just fine. I am sure you will prove others wrong in whatever endeavor you pursue. Never lose hope and always strive for improvement :) Based on the empirical data that is Runescape, you can do it!! :)
  11. Hehe. I wish I had a better desktop to play SC2 on :( . As a fulltime master-student I have little time to dedicate myself to any game anyway. It is fun to see that you played runescape ;) I am a great fan of your playstyle. Loved your mothership play vs TLO.... Keep up the good work!! I am just a spectator I guess :) I have a preference for Protoss as well... Have been watching many squirtle-games lately. He is really good. Well, lets keep it to Runescape on this forum :) What a rare but fun surprise. KiWiKaKi himself on a runescape forum..... That's like bumping into Zezima almost.... Haha......
  12. Nice contribution You don't happen to be Kiwikaki himself do you? I would assume a pro warcraft 3 / starcraft 2 player is too busy playing a game such as runescape in the first place. So are you him forreal or a fan?
  13. Why do you get feelings when I told you what he's getting as his cons goal as a fact? Makaveli, I sure hope he doesn't divert from training slayer for too long. 104m cons is certainly an awesome goal. But he is also amongst a very small elite group of players who still have a (perhaps somewhat remote) chance of getting all skills top 100 still... I also think he can spend his money more equally to get some fast 50m's and get the title of rank 1 in terms of most 50m's.
  14. No. He will most probably get some 50m's to claim the title of most 50m's and then continue slayer. That would be my guess... Also, great forum!!! I have been checking hiscores daily since I retired a few years ago. But I didn't know about this forum and topic. It is fun to see that there are more hiscores-enthousiasts out there :) On another note. I don't know whether or not it is mentioned already, but Allar has a big achievement coming up. He is about to get/surpass 2,606,886,200 xp or equivalent to a staggering 200 x lvl 99's An amazing feat considering that there are only 25 skills. That would mean that he has enough xp to resemble 99 in every skill 8 times.
