  1. I am certain after giving it some thought that there was a YouTube video where Mendark got hacked. It was in March I think (around same time as n0va). The person who broke into his account was somewhat pissed that there was nothing in his bank, I have searched all over for that video now, it must have been removed. It was only a 10-15 second clip in a montage of other people getting hacked (yes I was bored lol). Obviously I cannot 100% prove that he got hacked without that video - but maybe he did recover his account (unlike N0valyfe, his appeal was denied) and decided to get members!?!? N0va's blog http://n0valyfe.freehostia.com/2011.05.03/easter-2011 Why a hacker would get members and transfer gp on to Mendark's account and start training runecrafting is pretty strange.. so i'm not too sure who's currently really in charge of the account... @LordAdib, the screenshots are of n0valyfe's account. Mendark has only gained one total level, a runecrafting level, and has not leveled up dungeoneering or any P2P skills at all either.
  2. I bring sad news today :( Mendark 9 is now P2P. Someone managed to get into his account a couple of months/few weeks ago. There were pictures or a video of it somewhere. I can't seem to find the vid/picture of Mendark's bank again which was completely empty when the hacker got into his account. I don't know if Mendark heard of all this and managed to recover the account and decided to start playing again in members (highly unlikely imo) or if somebody else is playing on his account - he has gained 500k rc xp in the past week or so. Sad moment to see such a legendary account get into the wrong hands, same with n0valyfe.
  3. Took the #2 spot for overall xp from S Diamant Y recently as well. 3M xp from the weekly experience gain record in crafting (runetracker) =D> Well done Water and quite amazing gains if you're only cutting emeralds (read from the "200M in all skills" thread)
  4. for the bot killers - 99 cooking banked from that, that's pretty awesome lol Thanks BioIce, foreign worlds are the way to go indeed. I've done some combat training there before, very few people there if any at all (at flesh crawlers) (depends a little bit when you're on though). The amount of bots there in the English worlds makes it sometimes impossible to train there. I go to the room in the northwest corner, the middle room always has the most bots (English worlds). Never done much skilling there, but I guess I'll try some mining/woodcutting. Woodcutting at the foreign worlds.. see how the yews are there. Already got 90 crafting with gold amulets from like 70 something, it's a pretty nice afk skill (bit slow ofc) if you do it like that. Gave some nice profit around the last bonus xp weekend, maybe I'll start doing some crafting like that in August again, assuming there will be another bonus weekend in September.
  5. Nope, don't think so. Don't be too pissed, lighten up. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time :) Does anyone know any good money making methods that involves skilling? I'm quite low on cash atm (like 400k lol), I want to get 90 mining, so think I'm going to try and mine iron at Falador and bank at the resource dungeon, got the urns for 90 all banked too. Will maybe use that later on smithing (artisan workshop). I just want to make like 10M, don't need much more and would rather train skills than do merchanting at the moment, never even tried doing that, read Zarfot's guide though a few days ago. I want to skill my way to 10M, maybe try my luck at merchanting some after I get to 10M, who knows.
  6. Posted earlier that I thought you'd max in October 2012, but in hindsight realized you meant in Oct 2011 right? (since your account was created in April 2010)? ...and looking at your skills now and since you practically have infinite money that seems much more likely. Don't know what I was thinking earlier..  Congrats on 100M total

  9. OK, I'm 99% sure I've done every task possible in F2P now. I thought the ones below might have been possible but it seems like they aren't, checked them all. Varrock: Plank you very much, Lumbering around Karamja: Five a day, Put to port in Port Sarim, Fruity Catch, Back-cran door So, 170 tasks should be the max number (for free players). I can post a list of all the unlockable ones that are not in the Lumbridge task list if anyone wants
  10. Is it possible to complete the Varrock task "Plank you very much" (Make a plank at the sawmill) in F2P? It says there is no requirement for the task, only need logs and 100 coins. I managed to get inside (need 80 wc) but I can't talk to any of the NPCs there, I can only examine them. btw I spotted about 40 people (bots) woodcutting yews north of Varrock Palace, in world 161 (quick chat world), then hopped to world 113 (1000+ skill total world) - still ca. 25 botting there. I asked why would you train here if you are not botting? and 1 person out of 25 responded "Idk," maybe it was an auto response because why on earth would anyone want to try chopping there. I reported a handful of them, some lvl3s and a few people around 90-100 combat. edit: I also chopped down a dying tree in the lumber yard which is a part of the Varrock tasks too, but it still says I haven't completed it. weird..
  11. Man, you are a beast If you can get 1M of prayer xp in a day then you can do anything. Considering how fast you did that skill and at the pace you're at you should max a few months before Oct 2012 I think, but maybe I'm underestimating how long skills like runecrafting, mining and fishing will take. but yeah Good luck - you should shoot for 120 dg too imo
  12. I just noticed that Hgreenblood is not ranked on the hiscores anymore, anyone know what happened? Seems like he got banned. He was 40M or less away from 200M mage to become the first F2Per to max that if I'm not mistaken, good luck to Water on being the first now.
  13. What a great guide - this must have taken quite some time. I salute you for the time and effort you've put into this.
  14. Think I didn't get my point across. I was referring to this post and the one by Animorph when I was talking about cheating. Cheating, meaning having been a member if she claims to be pure F2P. Sorry about the confusion/not quoting that earlier lol :P I don't think she went P2P. . Getting 120 dungeoneering in w61 is not worthless, it is even more epic than getting it in P2P. Was simply wondering if she did any dungeons in members worlds, but like I said, I don't think she has been a member. Getting to 120 using the prestige from members or whatever, then implying you got it all in F2P would feel well.. not as good, worthless was maybe overstating it. If she had been a member I would think someone would have noticed it in the adv log. and no, getting 120 dungeoneering in w61 would not feel worthless to me. I'd be ecstatic!
  15. I've seen Tezaki a few times in w61, cheating your way to 120 makes the accomplishment worthless so I don't think or see why she'd do that. I compiled this list here by looking through the 250 list, thought it was interesting to see the number of players from that list with 99s in particular skills. Skill (Number of players with 99 or above in the corresponding skill) 1. Cooking (214) 2. Constitution (212) 3. Strength (207) 4. Defence (194) 5. Attack (191) 6. Firemaking (189) 7. Woodcutting (186) 8. Ranged (167) 9. Fishing (166) 10. Magic (160) 11. Crafting (124) 12. Smithing (108) 13. Mining (104) 14. Dungeoneering (39) 15. Runecrafting (38) 16. Prayer (35) Btw, can anyone tell me what skills have yet to be maxed to 200M by a F2P player? (Is Serialheated, ranked #2 in mining a pure F2P?)
  16. Hello everyone, this is my first post here on Tip.it Whew! I have finally completed reading the whole thread now, been fun reading about Runescape history, all the F2P legends and how the game has progressed throughout the years. I played the game in 2004-2005, started in April, fairly soon after Runescape 2 was released and don't know exactly when I quit but it was before the cook-x option was introduced (September 05). So it's about a year. I did most holiday events in between though, and then started playing again when dungeoneering was released so I will have played for a year now, again, in next week. I recognize quite a few people I've seen in game, on the list. Dungeoneered with some of you too. Good luck to everyone and hope you reach your goals :) Thanks to A U R A, Lordjake3 and Isthatok for maintaining the list, and everyone else who contributed. I'll be checking this thread every now and then in the future, have a good one. PS. Congrats on 99 cooking Pinkbullet, checked out your blog here - met you before I knew of that blog, but I had seen you post sometime in the 200M thread some time ago, which I plan to read through from beginning to end as well sometime. Hope we can do some dungeoneering soon again :)
