  1. I haven't trained Ranged in YEARS (aside from going from 88-91 purely using cannon during slayer) and going from 85-88 with Chins at Ape Atoll.. and while I was getting 85 slayer (which I just got) I've finally maxed out my combat stats.. 99 Defence, Attack, Strength, and HP. I'm currently just training Slayer for the hell of it.. but I was thinking of ranging a decent amount of my tasks, but with all the new ways to train Ranged, and the countless new Ranged equipment out there.. I don't know where to start... So, I have a few questions: 1. I have 91 Ranged, 99 Defence, 85 Slayer, and about 15M to spend on supplies.. I got potions covered already (about 12M worth lol) So.. what should I buy? What kind of armor? Crossbow? What kind of bolts/arrows?? I am basically new to Ranged.. with my stats I know that sounds [developmentally delayed]ed...but it is what it is lol 2. Which tasks would you recommend I ranged? Anything else you want to add to help me out would be greatly appreciated... THANKS!!!
  2. Heh I know my skiller stats suck, so no offense taken lol. And thanks for the good replies everyone! My first post about my achievements got nothing but s**t talking and hate :( Which I didn't understand cause I don't see the appeal in clicking a tree 100000 times, combat offers variety, rewards, and fun! No offense to skillers btw.. Not trying to hate at all, I personally don't see the appeal, but to each his own.
  3. Thanks. And what do you mean? You hate training combat but you enjoy training non-combat skills?? How?? All it is is clicking the same thing over and over and over and getting the same result over and over and over again.. drives me INSANE.
  4. What's up Tipit, I'm Dangarous - the one and only - winning like Charlie Sheen on the daily.. lol. I just finished two long term goals I've been working on for a while: --> 85 Slayer --> 99 Defence (which gave me 99 Strength, Attack, Defence, and HP = my only 99s) As anyone who knows me knows, I really don't train non-combat stats hardly ever. All I really do is train combat stats, slayer, and kill monsters for their loots. I started a few weeks ago (probably about a month?) with 60 Slayer and trained non-stop to 85, which I finally got on (I believe, give or take a day lol..) May 17, 2011. I planned on stopping at 85, but I'm going for 90 as my next goal.. and we'll see where it goes from there. So, my goals as of now are: --> 90 Slayer (Currently 85) --> 99 Ranged (Currently 91, went from 88-91 ONLY using cannon, didn't fire a single bolt/arrow/etc...) --> ? Herblore (Currently 50, plan on using herbs collected during Slayer to train it) --> Fire Cape --> Slayer Tab worth 50M+ For my blog, I plan on keeping track of all levels I gain, Treasure Trails I do, tasks I do, loot I get, etc... So here goes! Here are my stats as of May 20, 2001 (The day I'm starting my blog) When I got 85 Slayer, I sold everything on my tab for around 30M: I bought 20,000 Cannonballs, and stocked up on potions (Spent around 12M on potions) Here is my new potion tab: --Slayer Task Log-- -----> May 20, 2001 --> 79 Iron Dragons - Brimhaven Dungeon ----------> Value of Loot: 244,314gp --> 184 Kalphites - Kalphite Lair near Shanty Pass ----------> Value of Loot: 41,786 --> 186 Aberrant Spectres - Mortania Slayer Tower ----------> Value of Loot: 367,560gp --> 188 Greater Demons - Brimhaven Dungeon (Damn wild dogs w/ Cannon PISS ME OFF) ----------> Value of Loot: 149,967gp --> 140 Black Demons - Edgeville Dungeon ----------> Value of Loot: 165,101gp --> 48 Steel Dragons - Kuradel's Dungeon ----------> Value of Loot:
  5. Wow.. thanks! Am i really that quick at it?? I had no idea lol, thanks for the good replies guys.. and I was planning on stopping at 85, but I sold everything from my Slayer tab for about 30M, bought about 12m in potions and cannonballs and I"m going for 90+, starting a new (hopefully at some point way better) Slayer Tab.. Do you guys think I should just start a blog?? EDIT: Decided without you guys! I'm gonna start a blog and keep it updated daily.. check it out! Thanks for the support.
  6. Thanks for the comments and advice! I actually completed "Smoking Kills" about a week ago, used 100 points to never have Black Dragons assigned again... Don't like that task one bit... But when I get 400 together, that's what I'm getting for sho! I'll make another post once I get another 20 or so pictures :) My goal is obviously 85 Slayer, and I plan to not sell ANY drops I get during training until I get 85 then I'll sell my whole slayer tab for around 20-30M hopefully :)
  7. Lol, thanks for the reply! My last post here got a lot of hate for some reason :( Nice to get a positive reply.. And yea, I noticed that upon reviewing it.. I'll fix it right now, thanks for pointing that out for me.
  8. I'm very new to Summoning, haven't really trained it at all. I'm currently level 12... yea I know I suck.. I've been letting my charms pile up for a while and I think I have enough to start using them. The thing is, I want to make the best use of them I can.. here is what I have: - 940 Gold - 467 Green - 1030 Crimson - 73 Blue Can someone tell me how to go about using them? I understand the concept of training it, making the pouches and whatnot, but if someone could please take the time to tell me what to make in what order, that would be great.. Money isn't an issue, but if someone could also tell me approx. how much I'd have to spend. Also, what level do you think I should have roughly once I'm done with all the charms?? Thanks for the help!!
  9. Just finished doing the Smoking Kills quest. I'm 122 combat and I usually go to Shilo Village for tasks. Should I continue to go there or should I use the new master?? And is it suggested not to skip any tasks now? If so, which ones should I skip? Any other advice or suggestions would be appreciated as well.. Currently level 69 Slayer, aiming for 85 so any help would be awesome!! Thanks!!
  10. I make like close to a 750k an hour, and actually slightly enjoy it. That's not good money? What's just as easy? consistent? and slightly interesting?
  11. Hey everyone.. one question: how do I not kill Green Dragons efficiently?? I'm pretty sure I kill them the most efficient way possible.. I'm about to edit my original post with a bunch of updates over the past week or so.. and for the haters, here's my inventory and gear for killing green dragons:
  12. Thanks for turning my thread into a flame war guys... and how is Full Guthans useless??
  13. Oh, sorry I thought it said it somewhere. That's 200 noted Battlestaves!! Worth 1.7M!! One of the new very rare drops from Green Dragons that some dumb dumb left on the ground!
  14. Don't really appreciate or understand the hate.. My character is basically all about combat.. that's all I care about. I get no enjoyment or entertainment whatsoever from clicking on a rock or a stove all damn day.. If I wanted to do that I'd go do it in real life and make me some bank! I'm not askin to rate my amazing fishing and cooking.. I'm askin to rate my character considering what it is.. a fighter. I understand everyone's entitled to their opinion, but don't really need to be haters.. Thanks for everyone stickin' up for me :) Btw, oops about the PM lol, forgot about censoring that.. already got some bud :) Didn't need hash lol
  15. My combat goals as of a week ago: 90 Defence 98 Constitution 90 Ranged 94 Magic 70 Prayer A week later, unexpectedly got 2 out of 5 complete! ^ Finally training defense after recently getting 99 Attack (Shown below) ^ Went from 60-70 in one night, took around 5-6 hours. I used 1850 Infernal Ashes at the Ectofuntus, cost me around 9M but it was worth it. The next day I did Holy Grail, One Small Favour, and King's Ransom quests in order to use Piety which I just got the level to use. ^ Very close to 99 Constitution!! Got around 1.3M XP left I believe! ^ Only good clue reward in like 15 hard clues.. EDIT/UPDATE: LOL... Check out what happened tonight.. [hide=Profanity in image][/hide]
  16. 0/10?? That's harsh don't ya think? I don't like non-combat stats and I quit for a long time so never trained summoning.. lately I've been makin money and haven't been training slayer, and wtf is wrong with killing green dragons for money?? I don't like you very much...
  17. Thanks for all the advice, I actually spent about 9M on Infernal Ashes and am currently 67 Prayer, going to be 70 before I log off... so I took that advice thanks! Anything else would be appreciated too..
  18. Hello everyone, I'm Dangarous, and I've had 60 prayer for as long as I can remember, never bothered to raise it. A few days ago, I decided to get 70 for the abilities to use Piety and to bless gravestones (in case of teammates death while monster hunting, etc...) I was able to go from 60-70 Prayer in a few hours, so I figured I'd share it with everyone.. First of all, let me just say, THIS IS NOT CHEAP! To get from level 60-70 cost me about 9M If you have a decent combat level (80+), I'd recommend killing Green Dragons and selling the bones. The quickest way to raise prayer is to use Infernal Ashes to pray at the Ectofuntus.. The quickest way to get Infernal Ashes is obviously to buy them at the Grand Exchange, as of 4-11-11, they were going for 4,701gp per, but if you don't have the money and want to collect them yourself, here are the monsters that drop them: Abyssal Demon (Level 85 Slayer required) Ice Demon (From the Temple at Senntisten quest) Nechryael (Level 80 Slayer required) Tormented Demon (Must have completed the While Guthix Sleeps quest) Black Demon To figure out how many Infernal Ashes are required to achieve the Prayer level you're aiming for, go to Tipit, click "Skill Calculators", find "Prayer", and type in your information. Make sure you use the one with "(ecto)" at the end, or it'll only tell you how many you have to "scatter". The quests that are required for doing this are: Ghost's Ahoy King's Ransom is helpful, but NOT required, it gives you the ability to use the Chivalry (Level 60 Prayer) Prayer and the Piety (Level 70) Prayer Also note that it is VERY helpful to have 65 Agility, not only does it help your run energy regenerate faster, but it gives you the ability to make getting to the pool of slime below the Ectofuntus much quicker by allowing you to use a shortcut instead of running all the way around the other side to go down the steps.. However, no agility level is required. Items required are: Infernal Ashes (However many you need for your target Prayer level) Decent amount of Dueling Rings (50-100) Ectophial (If you lost it, using your Ghostspeak Amulet, speak to Velorina inside Port Phasmatys to get another one) Buckets (100+) Ghostspeak Amulet Now, once you've acquired all the necessary items, here are the steps involved in training your Prayer (Note that there are many different methods and techniques for doing this, but this is the one I've found to be the most efficient): Step One: Equip nothing except your Ghostpeak Amulet and a Ring of Dueling (8) and in your inventory, have your ectophial and 27 Buckets. Teleport to the Ectofuntus using your Ectophial. Step Two: Go down the trap door next to the Ecotfuntus, if you have 65 Agility, jump down, and run to the opposite side, go down the stairs, run to opposite side, repeat until you're at the bottom in front of the Pool of Slime. Use a bucket with the Pool of Slime and it will automatically fill all buckets in your inventory. Step Three: Teleport to Castle Wars using your ring, using the bank chest, deposit your buckets of slime and withdraw a full inventory of buckets. Use Ectophial to teleport to Ectofuntus and repeat Step Two until you have 100-300 Buckets of Slime. Step Four: Once all your buckets are full of slime, teleport to Castle Wars, withdraw (if you have any) your ecto-tockens, 13 Buckets of Slime, and 13 Infernal Ashes. Teleport using your Ectophial. Step Five: Worship on the Ectofuntus 13 times (Just keep clicking till your done, goes quick). Every couple trips or so, you will get a message saying you must collect your tokens before you can pray again, simply click "collect" on the Ghost Dicsiple right by the Ectofuntus and you're good to go (he will give you the tokens you earned. You MUST collect these for some reason...) Step Six: Teleport back to Castle Wars, withdraw 13 Infernal Ashes, deposit your buckets, withdraw 13 Buckets of Slime, teleport back to Ectophuntus, and repeat. Once you're out of Buckets of Slime, fill em back up and continue until you got your desired Prayer level! Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, rants, compliments, etc... Thanks! Hope this helps!! First guide I've written in years..
  19. Okay, here are my stats as of right now: Here's what I currently have: My question is, what items should I invest in (besides what I have obviously) to help me along my way training slayer? Any help would be greatly appreciated... thank you everyone!! Gimme any suggestions
  20. What's up Tipit? I'm Dangarous, I'm a champ.. Here's a picture of my bank a recent clue, my gear for killing' Green Dragons, which I'm currently doing (and have been for a few days, that and clues I get from them), and my stats: ^Only good clue I've gotten in the past 15 or so.. before that I got a Saradomin Platebody, but forgot to take picture, sold for approx. 1.5M ^My stats as of 4-11-11 and my gear used while killing Green Dragons for their bones. Didn't feel like taking off to show picture of Inventory or put that stuff in my bank.. I = lazy.. ^Ever since I got 99 Attack and Strength (attack I got couple weeks ago, picture below.. 99 Strength I've had for a long time now..) I've been training Defence, and I got 89 the other day. As of right now, I'm 197K til 90 and 179K til 98 Constitution ^Finally, a second 99!! I've had 99 Strength forever, finally go that [bleepin'] cape trimmed lol, and added a new one to my collection ^Last but not least... my Bank!! Whatcha think? Suggestions? Comments? Recently stocked up on potions, got about 3.5M or so in potions lol. Hope you enjoyed.. give me any feedback, comments, suggestions, etc. etc. Thanks! UPDATES BELOW:
  21. I always knew about Shield Left Halves and Half of Keys, just never heard of Saradomin Brews and Yew logs as rare drops for multiple monsters... they seem random items and amounts lol..
  22. Anyone ever heard about this Random Drop Table thing? A friend told me about it and I looked it up on Google as well, but after reading it I still didn't believe it at all... It says there's items that a big list of monsters drop that are very rare... Lately I've been killing Green Dragons, if you want to see what I'm talking about, go on Google, type in "Green Dragon Rare Drop Table" and I'm pretty sure it's the first result.. It's on Wiki or something. The reason I didn't believe it is due to the oddness of the drops.. they include, but aren't limited to: 45118523 (noted) Yew Logs... Worth 225K - 9.2M 250, 2500 (noted) Saradomin Brews... Worth 2M - 20.3M!! I didn't believe it for a second, they sound untrue and I've been killing them for weeks and haven't got anything on them.. until... few days ago I got an "Uncut Dragonstone" and believe it or not, so did my friend very recently.. and it's an item that's listed on the Rare Drop Table but not on Tipit Beastiary. And today, I got "Blood Runes" x50... from a Green Dragon.. weird because it's not listed on Tipit Beastiary OR that Rare Drop Table... so I'm confused...anyone know anything about this?
