First off, I'm Devoto my real SN on Runescape is I_Devoto_I. I'm gonna share with you my history in Runescape Football. Runescape Football truely started back in 2004-2005 with rollins26 and myself, at this point in time the league only had 6 active players and soon died. Later on around 2006-2007 RFL had been formed by Dino_Wino. I loved that the sport had came back to the game so I joined and therefore modernized it with my POH style Stadiums. After playing a season there I disagreed with alot of the league an revolted to form UFL, which later RFL merged and became URFL. Later on I was accused of cheating which I admitted to back in 2008, and played few games before leaving Runescape for 3 years. Now I'm back with a new league no players and a unsporting league that continues to bash me and my efforts to make a league again ran by old RFL players who insulted me when I had left RFL with no option, but to merge to save it's dignity. I'm posting in the RHQ community today to ask players to join me in my adventure to make a powerful football league that we all as one can enjoy, a league where you may have thought wasn't possible. In-order for this season to kick off though I need to find, and train 24+ players into footballers and set up equal amount of teams with 4-6 players. I'll be in game often, and as active as possible on here as long as I can bring a new class, a new decade to the football dynasty and show RFL and others we are better. I strive to be a role model player, and to make this league a fun and challenging league. General Season information: Seasons will include 10-12 games depending on how many teams we have active and full. Those games will decide the playoff contenders, like the nfl these games will bring us down to two teams to fight for the championship. Gameplay: Games are usually played 3v3 because we never had more players active on both teams to play 5v5 or more. We use a Gnomeball to act as the football, and offense must have a Wr, Qb, and a center. Your center after snapping the ball will then be inverted into a Wr type role. Now snapping is just simply using the gnomeball(right-Click+use+player name) on the Qb. Then the qb will unwield the ball then chose a Wr to throw it to and like snapping the Qb uses the gnomeball on the selected open player, Qbs can also run the ball, but must make sure the ball is wielded before running past the line of scrimmage. Now on Defense you will have equal players as the offense allowing you to mark everyone. Typically defenses play zone, but Cb's usually follow the Wr's upon hike. Now in-order to tackle, the defensive player must run through or have a piece of his pixeled body go through the ball carrier. In-order to deflect the ball for a incomplete throw, you must simply be on the Wr before he catches or while he's catching the ball. Now sacking is important, there will be a sack count down like 15 mississippi in backyard football. Now if the Qb runs or the clock runs out you can sack the Qb. All this is your basic knowledge and what you need to know.
