Only ice spells have entangle effect and no way it can last 15 seconds. And it fails very often, like too often in my opinion. That and reason there is no tele block in ancient magic book makes me think that ancient magic won't be overused. You just had unlucky day or mage had lucky one.

I must admit you are quite unlucky or I am. Entangle spell fails 4 times from every 5 cast on hides by me, and my magic is 87 :? And it doesn't last 15 seconds as far as I noticed... If he/she failed 15 times in a row, what were you doing? Mage would be dead failing only 5 times in a row. And another one thing entangle doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t work on already entangled guy, it has to wear off to be entangled again.

Have you ever tried ancient magic? It fails on hides equally good as regular one. They can get to you quite easily. Magic fails even on full rune time to time (in case you don't know) :roll:

How is mage too powerful? You guys are blind. Any (even low level) mauler or whiper with hides can kill any mage in 4-5 hits. I really would like to know which part of that dam triangle was fixed with that whip or maul. *sighs Warriors with whip > rangers, mages rangers > mages mages > noobs wearing full rune and don't carrying whip or maul (haven't seen any of that kind lately) So please never tell mages are too powerful in my presence. :roll:

Very smart and mature post. Well for you to know, you can wear lot of armors cos they are in game (including dragonhide armor), and rangers have only one. Remembered??? They have nothing to choose from only this one "cheap noobie little 20 k hide". :roll:

Could u take some math classes please? I fire 400 gp every time I hit or not hit you! Or 500 gp with mage with the same outcome... Most money for equipment??? What equipment? Go out to wildy, half of melee people run with dragonhide armor out there.
