  3. I've seemed to notice that most Literature forums for RS forums (and also sometimes for many other forums too.) Thank you so much for reading and responding, it means alot to me. ^^ Here you go, for any readers I may have: Chapter two Part one - Jealousy For the rest of the day Hikari stuck like glue to Landon, only letting him come truly close to her. If any other boy came close to her she would yelp and hide behind Landon. Whenever this happened his face would burn and he would mumble to Hikari quietly, "It's okay, they are friends." By the end of the day Landon felt like his face would be permanently stuck in a blushing state. Deciding that this was an uncomfortable situation to be in, he approached Hikari as she was standing at the school gate looking quite lost. "Hikari?" She turned around and smiled faintly when she saw him. "Yes?" She asked, a curious look on her face. "I have a question to ask you...why will you not let the other boys come close to you?" She turned around and thought about the answer for a moment before replying. "Well, you are nice to me - and you do not always stare at me." She said with a thoughtful look on her face. "When she uttered the second sentence Landon's face flushed again. Little did she know how much he longed to embrace her again, to touch her hair and feel her heart beat against his chest. "They were just marveling at your beauty, Hikari. Not many have met anyone as beautiful as you. Give them a chance?" She looked thoughtful, so Landon added in a hasty word; "Please?" "Okay then, for you." She smiled shyly at him and a dimple on the right side of her mouth appeared. Landon smiled back, marveling at how beautiful Hikari was when she smiled. Suddenly, and without warning, Hikari stepped forward, stood on her toes and kissed Landon on the cheek in one smooth motion. She blushed and then ran away in the other direction, her hair flowing behind her like a sheet of silk blowing in the wind. Landon lifted his hand and gently touched the spot where Hikari's lips had been moments ago. His skin tingled from her touch. That was a moment he would cherish forever. In the subsequent days that followed, Hikari allowed everyone else to come closer to her without as much fear. Many of the boys in their class would try to attract Hikari's attention, usually without any results. On one occasion Hikari was puzzling over a problem, her face set in a determined frown, when one of Landon's friends, Kenji, walked behind Hikari and peered curiously over her shoulder. "Would you like me to help you?" Kenji asked, with a friendly smile on his face. Hikari jumped and lifted her head up till she could see Kenji standing behind her. "Yes, please." She said thankfully. Kenji grabbed a chair and sat down next to Hikari; a moment later he started explaining. Landon looked at them, glad that Hikari had opened up to everyone. Landon continued to work, with everyone else chatting around him. A few minutes later he looked to the right, just in time to see Kenji shift his chair a little closer, and lean towards Hikari so he was only inches away from her. If Landon had not been so far away from them, he would have leapt up and stopped Kenji from moving any closer to Hikari. Unconsciously, his hands had balled into fists on the desk, and his jaw was clenched tightly together, blood coursing through his body. tenshi-chan
  4. After being horrible bored, I decided to open a signature. Not only to (maybe) try to kick start my RS-life again (mind you, I have quit for around 1 and 3/4 of a year...) But nevermind that. All Signatures are 75k, and 5k extra for animation (aren't I evil?) But a free avatar is supplied. I will put "Sample" onto the signature until I have recieved the payment, i\once it's recieved I will provide the link in this post. =D I'll post some example below, but for me to make your signature at all, you must provide the following information. Matching avatars are made for free. Animation isn't allowed on that though. :P Text: What text you wish to have on it. Any stats (if you wish to have animated stats, I will put no more then 4 different animations on it. ie. 4 different stats.) Font Style: Please provide a style (curly, times-new roman sort, grunge, block, etc.) I may not use it (sometimes some fonts just don't work with the signature) but it'll give me an idea of what you may like. Main Colors: Well, the main colors for your signature. The main color that you want that is going ot stand out. Secondary Colors: Secondary colors, the ones that I'll use if it looks to dull or something. Size: I generally do 4 different sizes; 400x125, 400x150, 300x150, 300 x 110; but you can choose a different size if you know your pixels. Extra Pics: This is optional, if you want a picture inserted, post it here, I don't have time to look for pictures, sorry! I may not put it in though, because sometimes people provide RS-pictures and they look really disgusting in signatures sometimes ^^; [300x110 pixels] [300x150 pixels] [400x150 pixels] [400x125 pixels] The sig above is available for sale, 50k because it sucks. I just made it to show people the sizes. [i stole Loth's system.] The signatures with a * next to them are able to be sold. These will be cheaper then personally-made ones. There are none premade so far basically, I'm a lazy poo. On the pre-made ones, size can be changed (I will post the largest size) and same with text placement, font, color of the signature. If the file size it to big, I will make it the right size for tip.it regulations if you want to (just include it in your post) ^ Around half a year old or something. o.o Horrible >.< * or *
  5. I'm in, although would you be able to add more information on what the character looks like...and also signature size, colors, text, all that other stuff that we need to know XD tenshi-chan
  6. So should I even bother looking back at this post or do I have no chance? =P Meh, I'll live, choose what you want. I'm opening a sig shop soon ...selling 1 sig for 50k each ^.~ tenshi-chan
  7. True, but they came fro mthe same background, so I guess that's what happens. XD I don't like the one I made for the request. The colors look a bit tacky to me. Why am I CCing my own picture? >.< tenshi-chan
  8. I'll be doing something tomorrow morning, after I get some beauty sleep. ^^ So, pelase, wait up for me and don't decide yet! >.< (I will be most likely doing the second one.) tenshi-chan
  9. CC+RATE-AGES. *cackles* There are several of the next ones I will show you, 'cause they were made for a request thing, but I would like ot know if I could improve in any way on this. ^^ Also, please rate my signature which I am currently using for another forum ^^ Thanks~! tenshi-Chan
  10. is it expensive? not really :? Or you could go to a window and trace it there.... ;) weee thats what i do :D doesent that takes ages? hhm, so u put the paper on the window, does it matter if its night or day? anywayz, u stick it on the window, trace with a pencil and do ur animation. am i right? one question. does it take longer to draw on something thats stuck to a window then drawing on a normal table? if it doesent then i guess i can start :D It's about the same, but if the picture had alot of detail, I suggest securing it to the window with tape or bluetack or something otherwise your arm will get really sore holding it up and drawing XD Wacom tablets are still hella expensive, but it's worth getting one if you have the money, in my opinion. Either you can use the window trick, or you can also scan it, and reprint it out but lighter (brighten it in adobe photoshop or something) and then trace over, adding the details, then scan it in again so the really light printed lines can't be seen. ^^ tenshi-chan
  11. Note: There is SAMPLE on it, if you didn't realise o.o That's why it looks a tiny bit horrible...XD I looked at it again and the font was dodgy, so I changed it. It sucks. =.= And the animation takes forever + it is boring tenshi-chan edit: Viper's is done: Aznguy: Dark Star: Partyboy: Deadman: I sure hope this was worth it.
  12. It officially sucks, but oh-well, what can I do? XD if you think anything is wrong with it, post. I'm doing the colored ones now. tenshi-chan
  13. Hmm, I totally hate the sizing Tip.It has (300 x 150) for the look of signatures, so I will make them my normal size (400x125) and then resize if you wish. ^^ What type of font are you looking for? Bold, writing, calligraphy, Gothic, girly (doubt you would want this)...cause I have many to choose from. I'll make it with a font and if you recide to choose it I can also change the font type. tenshi-chan
  14. O_O But he's angry, he doesn't have like "wtf." feelings. He's just annoyed at (me?) 'cause I drew him with cat feet. Any more CC, everywhere i post, no-one seems to want to give me CC... tenshi-chan
  15. =P Angry kyo = Chibi one in the "text" box. THanks for the comments. The background was put together in 30 seconds, cause I was a lazy girl (again.) and couldn't be bothered drawing/coloring a background. tenshi-chan
  16. Oh my poo D: Translation: Little Cats are yummy (to eat) Wyrm...oh no. >=( I think I will now be forced to stalk you for no reason. And yes, it was from scratch. The ear is there, but I neglected to put in details cause I am a lazy girl (as usual) and I really couldn't be bothered XD Cat feet = kyo's animal in fruits basket. If you watch the anime you'll see he's all "tough" on the outside, but really, he's just a cuddly little neko-chan on the inside X3 tenshi-chan
  17. Posted in RSC, if you see me, it's me. C & C and Ratings please! He's just my favourite anime character of all time. -.-; Can also be viewed: http://www.deviantart.com/view/13945577/
  18. That's me! ^^ But I'm Tenshi there now, I changed my username. No-one is really reading this, are they ^^; Ohwell, it's there when people need it tenshi-chan
  19. I draw them...if I had a tablet I might manage to draw them as good as I do in real life, but as I don't, I can't, really. XD If I work my [wagon] off, it'll take 3 or so hours ot ifnish, which isn't that long XD Thanks for the comments tenshi-chan
  20. Start of my pixelling tenshi-chan
  21. Same here, it's still hot though. However try and remove the distortion its buggin me. Other than that its a sweet piece : ) What distortion? x.x This is just the "concept art" of the pixelled version and/or the CGed version ^^ So it should be okay. Thanks for the ocmment =D Really appreciated Four words: Set layer to multiply. I have a tutorial on how to color Anime art, but I'm not sure if there's a tutorial board somewhere here... tenshi-chan There is no tutorial board here, most people post tuts here so if you want feel free to post it here because I would be very intrested in reading it. :) For your enjoyment: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=156759 tenshi-chan
  22. CC and al that jazz, it's not finished, but ohwell, I might get there >.< This is REALLY outdated, so I can CG much better then this now. [T u t o r i a l : H o w . t o . C G . M a n g a . A r t] [̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâéJoy Kao/BlackTenshi 2004] [Email [email protected] with any questions] [PM Tenshi with any questions] [Note] [This tutorial is just to show you how to color the pictures, I will not be teaching you how to draw manga, just how to color them.] [What is needed?] 1. Pencil, Inking pen and paper 2. Adobe Photoshop [basic knowledge of the tools] 3. Scanner 4. Printer REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR WORK REGULARLY! [P a r t . o n e : L i n e a r t] [in this part of the tutorial the aim is to create an outline of your picture that you are CGing, so that the coloring part of the CGing is easier, and so that the lines are clean and crisp.] [step 1] -Draw your picture on paper like you would normally, with pencil and paper. Make sure you are drawing on white paper which does not have lines printed on it. -This is the picture I am going to be using to demonstrate with for this tutorial: [Picture at 12.5% size.] -I used a .5 'PaperMate' mechanical pencil (pacer) on white paper for this picture. -For step two there are two different ways of doing this: 1. If you do not mind drawing with an ink pen over your picture and you are confident you will not make a mistake, proceed to Step 2B. 2. If you do not want to wreck your original picture or are not completely confident that you will not make a mistake, proceed to Step 2A Remember to save your work regularly [step 2A] -Scan the picture onto your computer, and open it in Adobe Photoshop (APS). DO NOT RESIZE IT. -If the image has a dirty look to it (the background is a grey/sallow color) go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast Turn the level of Brightness and Contrast upwards until the part of the image that are suppose to be white are now a proper white, and the black is a darker black. Click OK. I usually put the Brightness up to +30 and Contrast +15 but it differs depending on how dirty the paper was when it was scanned. Always remember that the Brightness should be higher then the Contrast. Brightness makes the whole image brighter, so you lose the darkness on the lines. You counter this by pitting up Contrast which makes the darker parts of the image darker. -Click on Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and tick the 'Colorise' option. Toggle the levels until you get to a light pink-ish color (Hue 360, Saturation 50, Lightness 85). -Print the image out on a fresh piece of paper at the size you would like (the larger, the better). -Ink it with a pen (not ball-point, use either a fineliner or a special inking pen). -Scan it onto the computer [A] Shows the drawn, scanned image. Shows the Bightness/Contrast changed image. [C] Shows the Hue/Saturation changed image. [D] Shows the inked, scanned image. Proceed to Step 3 Remember to save your work regularly [step 2B] -Ink your drawn image with a pen (not ball-point, use either a fineliner or a special inking pen). -Erase the greylead lines if needed -Scan it onto the computer Proceed to Step 3 Remember to save your work regularly [step 3] -Go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast Turn the level of Brightness and Contrast upwards (Guideline: Brightness +30, Contrast +15) until the part of the image that are suppose to be white are now a proper white, and the black is a darker black. Click OK. Proceed to Step 4 Remember to save your work regularly [step 4] -Clean up any extra black lines in the picture with the eraser tool. (Make sure the layer is locked, and that your secondary color is white) -Using the brush tool set on around 2 or 3 pixels, fill in any places where there are gaps in the line. -Your manga lineart should be complete and ready for CGing now! [Pictures at 25% size] [A] Shows the drawn, scanned image with no changes made. Shows the inked, scanned image with no changes made. [C] Shows the inked, scanned image with all modifications made. [P a r t . t w o : B a s e . C o l o r i n g] [in this part of the tutorial we are placing the main colors into the Lineart of the picture you just created in Part One: Loneart. This will be the basis of color for your whole picture, so choose the colors wisely, although you can change them at any time.] REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR WORK REGULARLY! [step 1] -Create a New Layer and name it the part you are coloring. For example; I will be doing the skin first, so I will name the layer "Skin_Base". It does not really matter what you name it, but make sure you can remember what is on every single layer, so you are not looking through each layer at the end [by that time there will be atleast 20 layers]. Set the layer on Multiply by selecting "Multiply" from the little drop down menu on the Layer Palette. -Activate the Background [Lineart] layer by clicking on it, and using the Magic Wand tool [Anti-Alias UNCHECKED], select all parts of the picture which are the same color/same region. To add to the selection, press the Shift button and continue to select the other areas. Make sure you have selected ALL the regions that are needed. For the Skin_Base layer, I would select all the parts which are flesh-colored. [Legs, hands, neck and face.] [Picture at 25%] -Go to Select > Modify > Expand... and enter 2 into the box, then click OK. The selection you had before should now have expanded a little [2 pixels, in fact] Proceed to Step 2 Remember to save your work regularly [step 2] -Activate the layer you made at the start of step one by clicking on it. -Select the color for the base. [The 'base color' is the main color of that area. The color which does not have shadow on it, or highlights on it.] -Fill the selected parts using the Fill tool [Anti-Alias UNCHECKED or Right click > Fill > OK -Continue to do Step 1 and Step 2 with all the different colors/areas of the picture until all of the picture is base colored. (Remember: New layer > Name accordingly > Set mode Multiply > Activate Background layer > Magic Wand select areas > Expand 2 pixels > Activate New Layer [Name_Base layer that was created at the start] > Select color > Fill selected areas) -After I finished coloring all the parts of the picture [except for the eyes; eyes are colored last] this is what it looked like: [Pictures at 27% size] [A] Shows the inked image that was made in Part one: Lineart. Shows the base colored image, touched up with the brush tool. [C] Shows the Layers that I used, you can group yours differently, but you have to remember what is on each layer. Proceed to Step 3 Remember to save your work regularly [step 3] -Touch up your image with the brush tool and eraser tool. Fill in any parts that were missed - and erase any parts which come out of the black outline. -Your image now has all of it's base colors! [Excluding the eyes] [P a r t . t h r e e : S h a d i n g] [in this part of the tutorial I will be showing you how to shade your base colored picture; this adds de[pth to the picture, and makes it more life-like.] [step 1] -Press "D" on your keyboard to make the colors of your brush turn back into black/white. We will be using the color black for most of this part of the tutorial. -Decide on what part of the picture you will be CGing, and create a New Layer above the layer you will be shading. Name that layer "LayerName_Shading" or something that you will recognise easily. -Set the layer on Multiply by selecting "Multiply" from the little drop down menu on the Layer Palette. [step 2] -Press "ctrl" on the keyboard and hold it there while clicking on the base layer ["Layername_Base" layer] that you will be doing the shading of. Click on the small preview image beside the name while you are holding "ctrl" down, not anywhere else. If this does not work, right click on the small preview image and select "select layer transparency" -The area that you colored in Part 2: Base coloring should be selected now. The purpose of this is that when you are using the brush to brush in the shading, you only shade in the confines of the selected area, which is the only area you need to be shading in. [Picture at 25% size] [Way more to come, can't be bothered at the moment. I'm slowly getting there!] tenshi-chan
