Iron mining is seeming like a good money maker at this point, but 18-40 won't get me the million. So I don't really know yet. xD

Hello all. :) I'm Terrabyta, or just Terra, or James. xD I've been playing Runescape for a good while now, but I took a break awhile ago. I just recently got back into this game due to extreme boredom in my real life (not really exciting in my town :( ). I've gotten really good progress on this account in my eyes, and I've set goals for it, thus creating my blogish type thread!

 

I also LOVE Skyrim, just got it yesterday for Christmas and let me say; PS3 + HDMI + Skyrim =The most awe inspiring graphics I've ever seen. xD I'm a redguard weaponsmaster (meaning I dual wield one handed weapons), and I've unlocked a few shouts.

No problem...I also misread it slightly :smile:

 

I don't mind much at all...I'm combat level 101 and I can dungeoneer with people of pretty much any combat level. It's obviously helpful for the average to be below 90 so as to avoid the 50% penalty, but I'm okay either way.

 

I'm level 32, so.. I hope I don't seem that nooby. If you wanna team up, my IGN is Terrabyta. I wanna get 40+ all stats before I get members so you'll be helping me. :)

Not sure I understood your question...do you mean am I looking for people with a specific combat level? Or are you asking whether I'm training to a sepcific combat level?

[Mining question]

Assuming you're f2p because there's no reason for a member to mine and bank iron, you should use the resource dungeon in the dwarven mines and bank using the deposit box there. Failing that, the east Varrock mines are decent.

 

If you have 15 Dungeoneering I believe the best place to mine is the iron rocks just outside the dwarvine mine resource dungeon. And you use the deposit box inside the resource dungeon to bank ores.

 

I can easily get the 15 DG requirement. :)

Since iron ore prices have gone up a lot, I'm going to be mining them to 42 mining from 15.

 

 

My question is: where is the best place to mine iron then bank it, with the spot being safe?

Hmmmm... Lotta replies. Yes, I used to love to mine, but I didn't do that much of it.. I have 67 mining as well as woodcutting. i guess fishing is off the list. That makes things a lot better. I also like gop, 10k tokens is a mill in water tallys. Gop'n to 99 Rc? That could take forever....

 

I like the 99 Mining idea, but that's long as well. Still I'm going to consider it. DEFINATELY not going with cowhides. They suck, and that's that. 67 Mining or gop'n will give me 3x as much any day.

 

I would " just pay the 5 bucks" but considering it's 7.99 for membership cards? I wanna get some good skills and do some research before I get mems.

 

Thanks guys! I guess gop'n and Mining are my best bets. I'm the noob here, I'm just givin' you guys feedback. I'd love to here what else you guys can come up with! I'd really love to know.

What's in bold is what I'm trying to do right now. I wanna have noncombat statsu to 35+, combat stats 40+, and a decent amount of cash before I even think about trying to start members. Oh, and I want to do most of the F2P quests.
