  1. Thanks to my good old buddy Raptor, I'm now spending some nice quality time with these Runite dragons! Beautiful and sometimes too deadly creatures. I'll be editing this post slowly since I get to kill 50, already killed 30 or around that. So I'll be gathering information and posting it here. Also since I'm part of TMHT I feel this is also my job that has to be done sooner or later. I'll start with the drops then later on with the tactics etc. 100% seems to be 1 un-noted Rune bar & 1 un-noted Rune dragon bones. In addition I've also always received 1 of the following possible drops; 1 un-noted dragon platelegs. 1 un-noted rune platelegs. 40 runite bolts (unf). 14000 coins. 30 noted magic logs. 2 un-noted cooked rocktails (much appreciated!) 1 un-noted rune kiteshield. 9 noted black dragonhide (not sure how, since these have metallic scales not hides?) 1 un-noted rune chainbody. 2 noted uncut dragonstones. 49 noted molten glass. 52 noted molten glass. 460 noted flax. 8 onyx bolt tips. 3 noted rune bars. 4 noted runite ore. 3 un-noted prayer potion (3) (awesome!) 47 noted teak planks. 1 un-noted loop half of a key. 1 un-noted dragon longsword & a hard clue scroll. -The reason I mention these both at the same time is because this is the first time my ring of wealth did it's magic and I'm not sure if it's because the clue, the sword or both. The last option is that it's a bug but I doubt it. Just got 1 dragon longsword without the ring trigger and without a clue scroll, so the ring of wealth only affects the clue drop. It seems to sometimes drop some sort of a journal page to the ground. When I picked it up I received 100 smithing experience and received the following in-game message: "You add the page directly to the journal. (1/10)" What journal?!? My quest journal?? Edit: Aah I received an item: "Forcae's journal" it's examine is quite fascinating: "How to torture your dragon". I had an elite, tough son of a dragon. Instead of 40 runite bolts (unf) it dropped 70. Was hoping for something better :/. Lastly it seems to always drop 4 charms of the same type whenever the hell it feels generous, I'd say it's rare that it doesn't drop charms, but it has happened to me 2 or 3 times. Oh my f******* Guthix. I got another task of these, this time 68 zzz... These were cool like the first 30 kills, but after that they become so damn boring, not to mention annoying... Damn Raptor. It's nice when people don't bother collecting loot, they kill the dragons faster than me that it's more than welcome. Guess EoCers are useful for something after all.
  2. The Fremennik achievement items have the same problem. The location where to claim/reclaim the seaboots; 1: Given by the council workman on the bridge South of Rellekka, East of the Fossegrimmen. 2: Given by Yrsa in Rellekka. 3: Given by Advisor Ghrim in Miscellania castle. 4: Given by Advisor Ghrim in Miscellania castle. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8389-fremennik-sea-boots-1 http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8386-fremennik-sea-boots-2 http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/8388-fremennik-sea-boots-3 The 4th is already mentioned.
  3. Would be good to mention where the Varrock armour can ne reclaimed if lost; 1: From Rat Burgiss, South-East of Varrock. 2: From Reldo in the Varrock Palace's library. 3: From Vannaka in Edgeville dungeon. 4: From Vannaka in Edgeville dungeon. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7099-varrock-armour-1 http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7101-varrock-armour-2 http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7100-varrock-armour-3 The 4th already mentions it.
  4. Time for the Purest of essences! http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4908-pure-essence The examine has changed a bit. Here's it's current version: "An uncharged Rune Stone of extra capability. Used in Runecrafting for training and production." Also shouldn't the different Runecrafting pouches be also mentioned? Shouldn't the rune essence also be mentioned there? To clarify their differences. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2906-rune-essence In rune essence pure essence is mentioned. However there's no hyperlink to pure essence, so I suggest making a bridge between those 2.
  5. It's curious that bane ore's information hasn't been updated: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/11672-bane-ore After the Heroe's Welcome quest you can now mine these from the Brimhaven dungeon where you fought the quest's final boss. There are 15 ore nods to be mined here and these respawn fast so not a problem like runite ore. I'll edit more later if I find something else. Oh yeah; The area -according to quest journal- is called "Abomination cave". As mentioned before in this same place you can repeat the boss fight for a chance of the abomination cape drop. The ore can be alchemized. I used low alchemy, but didn't receive any coins. Not sure about high alchemy, but I guess it's the same outcome. When trying to cast the superheat item in bane ore it says: "You need to cast superheat item on ore." lol. Apparently you must tune it first. It's also worth mentioning that while the item isn't tradeable; You can still use a Burden of Beast familiar to carry the ore, making it logistically a lot easier to deal with. When mining bane ore, my ring of wealth sometimes activates, but I've been here for half hour now and haven't obtained a single gem, I even have a fully charged glory amulet with me. I think it's a bug since nothing really happens. Also the effects of the Varrock armour do not apply here, though that was pretty much foreseen. Edit: OH WAIT! I got 4 gems in a row! I think the game perhaps had a very long delay? Or something? I have no idea. But it's possible to mine gems from bane ore after all. :D
  6. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/5364-emerald-lens This item can be alchemized. I used low alchemy and obtained 4 coins.
  7. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/3719-watering-can http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/3727-watering-can-full I think it would be good to mention the magic watering can in the normal one's info. What do you think? http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/10168-magic-watering-can
  8. A really small examine mistake in the great gunkan item's info: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/16022-great-gunkan Heals* not heal. Also I'd like to ask if are you guys able to keep up with the pace? I got still so many under progress (almost all the time 30-100 in hold) but I'm sometimes too busy to report them immediately. For example the alcoholic drinks I mentioned earlier, which I should at some point brew till the end.
  9. The rewards section for the Conquest minigame requires updating: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/conquest.htm#rewards
  10. About the Wilderness Warbands: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/wilderness_warbands.htm This is my first time doing this and was surprised on how simple and easy it was. Anyhow the wilderness levels are incorrect in the guide. The lowest is in level 10, the Dark Warrior's Fortress. And when I went to the farthest; It was waaay lower than lvl 54. Forgot to write it up. I suspect the Red Dragon Isle location's wildy level is also too high. If I happen to do this event again I'll edit this post with the other 2 valid Wilderness level areas. And perhaps more. Also the NPCs combat levels were much lower than what's stated in the guide. It's also worth mentioning that if you hop worlds before turning in the pillaged items, they vanish. Luckily I only lost 2 items due to this, so wasn't too much of a loss. I think the whole guide could use a full update incase there's more to be mentioned that I missed.
  11. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2283-cavern-key I'm not sure if this is important.. But after the quest it's possible to obtain the key from a chest at the end of the experiment monster dungeon of the related quest, beneath the mausoleum. I think this is because after the quest you are no longer able to kill the lady centaurs...? Also this can't be added to the key ring. No idea if it has any uses after the quest. I barely remember old fenkestrain. :/ I used low alchemy so this item can be alchemized, however you receive 0 gp.
  12. So... Desert lizards. These were my favourite long time ago.. Anyhow the bestiary: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/552-desert-lizard It says there that they are level 49. And the same creature in front of me is level 63. And I suspect the drop table is missing a few things, but I doubt I'll have time to check that out. Edit: It seems there are a lot of different leveled lizards here with the same examines. So ignore what I said above. So far I've seen; Small lizards: level 21 Desert lizards: level 63, 49, 35 Lizards: level 77 Also it's worth mentioning that to the East of Sophanem there are at least 4 big, level 77 lizards here and I don't see any other levels. This spot is probably the best for those who want the most slayer experience. I think it should be mentioned in the monsters profile: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/551-lizard I suggest correcting the "Habitat" section from the small lizard profile. First of all it's South-West of the ruins of Uzer, if you go South you skip them. Also I think this is the Kharidian desert, not Shantay. http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/553-small-lizard Same problem with the desert lizard, but atleast it has the right desert name: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/552-desert-lizard The lvl 77 lizard also says Shantay desert, posted the link above.. Overall all these lizards count towards to the slayer count from the slayer task. However we seem to be missing a profile from the level 63 & 35 desert lizards. Someone should research them.
  13. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/3332-black-mushroom-ink The black mushroom ink can also be used in desert shirt & robe to create a black versions of them: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4391-black-desert-shirt http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4392-black-desert-robe I suggest creating a hyperlink bridge between these and the ink. However there's a downside to this; The clothes no longer protect you from the desert heat/sun. When dying either one of the 2 items you also gain 2,5 crafting exp. The high alch value for the shirt is 24 coins, robe is 18 coins. The low alch value for the shirt is 16 coins, robe is 12 coins. When trying to use the ink with the desert boots it says: "The shoes are too thick to dye." So you can't dye them.
  14. http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/slayer_guide.htm So back to the slayer guide.... In the "Slayer masters & assignments" section; In Mazchna's special task the levels of the monsters are significantly lower than in the guide. I suggest updating it. I sadly noticed this too late so forgot to write the levels. I only remember the snail being around lvl 40, ghoul 60 and the vampire... 90? Anyhow better check it out yourself. Another thing about the special task; I was able to complete it without the Enchanted gem, I by dropged it to the ground and used my full slayer helmet or well it's a reinforced slayer helmet at the moment, but I don't think it matters. Not sure about the slayer ring, didn't test it. About one of Mazchna's monster assignments; I'm currently assigned to kill hobgoblins. He said to me that they are weak to air spells, but when I hover my mouse over them it has an earth spell weakness icon. Which one to believe? Nevertheless these are pretty easy to kill (at my level) so I doubt there's a significant difference.
  15. Dark arrow: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6958-dragon-arrow I suggest creating a hyperlink bridge between the dark bow: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6956-dark-bow Another thing is that the dark bow's special attack becomes more powerful when using dragon arrows and even changes the shooting animation (unless it's changed). I think this should be mentioned in both the bow and arrow item information. Create a hyperlink bridge between the dragon arrow & the dragon arrowhead: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7855-dragon-arrowheads Create a hyperlink bridge for the headless arrow: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/228-headless-arrow For these 2: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7855-dragon-arrowheads http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6958-dragon-arrow Edit: I also found out about these "dark arrows" do you think they could make the special attack even more special o.O?
  16. Few things about the scarecrow: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/4575-scarecrow When you drop it, the scarecrow is "standing" in the tile where you drop it, instead of lying down as most items. It's alchable but I got 0 coins when high alching. So probably low alch is the same.
  17. Noticed a small thing that could be mentioned in the Thieving guide. Those who have a clan and are interested in obtaining anagogic orts; while pickpocketing you can receive them even if you fail to pickpocket your target.
  18. Lol it seems that I can repeat the Druidic Ritual quest which I did eons ago. Seems a bit weird since on my lore progress Guthix is already dead so not sure what to expect from this. Sanfew: "Bait a hook with a gold coin..." Right... I think I liked the older quest more. Anyhow I think others who had previously completed this quest before can play the current version too.
  19. Before continuing on, pot of flour needs a few changes: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2089-pot-of-flour Technically it is a quest item since it's used in several quests. For example in Cooks assistant and Murder Mystery quests aren't mentioned there. On the "Used in" section Pitta Bread and it's hyperlink is missing. On the "Uses" section pitta is mispelt. On the "Links" section there's no mentioning of the cooking guide!? Yet strangely there's a link to the crafting guide.... Pitta dough comes next: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/2630-pitta-dough In the "Used in" section, I'm not sure if it's some sort of joke, but the Pitta bread and it's hyperlink is missing from there, yet the burnt version is mentioned... In addition you gain 1 cooking exp when making a pitta dough. Pitta bread: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/19-pitta-bread The bread's examine is now: "Nicely baked pitta bread. Needs more ingredients to make a kebab. Cooking the bread from dough grants 40 cooking experience. When combining the pitta bread and kebab mix it grants 40 cooking exp. I suggest mentioning it in the Ugthanki kebab information. Ugthanki kebab (there appears to be 2 different types of kebabs in the database. I managed to create this one): http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/7784-ugthanki-kebab-fresh The experience isn't 80 xp from that stage as I've explained before. So I suggest changing it. From the scratch it should be 84 cooking expererience in total. I'm not sure about the healing; When I hover my mouse on the item it reads: "Heals: ???" Lastly I want to point out that many of the item's that were mentioned on this and the last post, are missing their weight and another thing that I had in mind... But I forgot it now.. Another thing is the red hot sauce: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/612-red-hot-sauce This item can be used on a bought kebab and with a player made Ugthanki kebab. I think this should be mentioned in the sauce and kebab's information. Another thing about the sauce is that on the "Uses" section the hyperlinked camel dung isn't properly working. It should end up here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1732-ugthanki-dung Also I think Ali thr Kebab Seller is missing a proper NPC profile..? http://www.tip.it/runescape/shops/view/176-ali-the-kebab-seller His examine is "A kebab seller." I think this item's healing calculator may prove useful since all the kebabs have this: "Heals" ???" Assuming it works ofcourse. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/459-super-kebab
  20. Was making some kebab for breakfast and noticed that the item info is missing a few small things: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/1613-raw-ugthanki-meat It's possible to make sinew from the raw meat. You earn 40 experience points when cooking it normally. When making the kebab mix: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/683-kebab-mix It should be clarified that you must put the onion first. If you put the tomato first you get chopped tomato and for some reason you are unable to add the onion or the kebab. Not sure what's the logic there really. In addition each time you put an onion, a tomato and the Ugthanki meat in the bowl you gain 1 cooking experience. So 3 exp in other words. Also I suggest making a hyperlink for pitta bread from kebab mix' item information. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/19-pitta-bread
  21. You may want to update this a bit: http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/gods_guide.htm For example the picture of Mah can be added there. Unfortunately when I was doing the Fate of the Gods quest I didn't take a picture when I had the chance. There's a lot more to be updated.
  22. Been checking the bestiary list of the Barrows Brothers and I noticed something strange, everyone of them is classified as a human in the bestiary, for example see: http://www.tip.it/runescape/bestiary/view/491-guthan-the-infested I don't think they are humans anymore. The fact that the examine states "A vengeful spirit..." And that the ectoplasmator works on them clearly points it out that they are more like undead than humans now. http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/12928-ectoplasmator
  23. A suggestion for Bomber Cap & Bomber Jacket items: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6358-bomber-cap http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/6357-bomber-jacket Create a hyperlink bridge between them. The jacket informs correctly the consisting items of the full set, the cap doesn't.
  24. I'm not sure if this is the same item I'm after: http://www.tip.it/runescape/items/view/5266-bandana-eyepatch-white But I had the same except with a different examine which also explained why it may not be the same item: "A white bandana and a patch for the right eye." I got it from a pirate impling, but couldn't find much of use for it so I high alched it and it has the same value as the one in the database. Not sure about the other properties. The item's name was "Bandana and eyepatch". I also learned that the colour variations don't change anything else besides the examine part. I've also heard of a 2x eyepatch bandanas when I last time visited Mos'Le Harmless. You may want to re-check the database since in total there would be 7 different colour variations with either 0 eyepatches, 1 eyepatch in the left/right eye or 2 eyepatches. Making it a total of 28 unique items. Good luck sorting that out :P! Edit: Corrected a grammar error.
  25. Time for the Fate of the Gods quest: http://www.tip.it/runescape/quests/view/255-fate-of-the-gods You may want to check the player's combat levels mentioned in the guide.... Also I forgot to warn before: watch out for possible spoilers that may be mentioned here! Ok I have no idea when this happened but the Nihil definitely have a weakness and I almost got killed because I didn't pay attention to it. Blood Nihil is weak to magic. Ice & smoke Nihils are weak to ranged. Shadow Nihil is weak to melee and by the way it deals ranged not magic damage. Also they hit me 225 when they charged towards/past me in Legacy mode so in EoC it would be 2250 not 2000 I think. It is possible to avoid the lightning strikes by watching where the electrical pulses are. You can time when the lava is falling from the walls or from the skies to avoid it, you just need to pay attention and learn through the hard way. The geysers on the ground are also avoidable; Simply try to circle around them from a tile or 2 away if possible. Also before the fight there's a Nihil running near the player (outside the cave) which pretty much told me that this is not good... It got a hell more creepier when I reached the door that was constantly being banged at, till I came close to it... I'm not very far in the quest, but so far I've done it without the guide, only checking afterwards if I've missed something from the completed stages so I wont have to go back all the way again or if the guide is missing information (which btw is as mentioned). On the "Tips, Tricks & Notes" section it could also be mentioned that it's possible to repeat the boss fight at the room where the player is ambushed by the 4 different types of Nihil, by standing in the icon at the center of the room. Another option is to spawn them for slayer/combat. You can also keep the room empty if you wish. It appears the guide was only useful at the rewards section, since the quest was pretty much straight forward, considering it was a grandmaster quest... Nevertheless it's good to see that the guide is made well, simply update it to make it better. The quest was most intriguing and incredibly short. Had I not stopped to examine and study all the lore related things, it would have taken less than an hour instead of 5-6 hours. It's great to finally see Zaros back and I hope to see a quest where both Zaros & Seren are involved, preferrably in good terms, even their pasts were quite tragic. It's also a bit sad to think about Mah and what will happen to her. Edit: Fixed a few grammar mistakes.
