Appreciate all the input guys! Will be following the modified plan by Quyneax closely. I am still having trouble finding a purchasable or obtainable mage set/weapon for myself when I am going to do some combat with magic. I will have to research on this more. x.x

Gosh guys! Thanks for all the fantastic input! Let me sum up if I want to train magic cost effective and fast, NON-COMBAT 1. Superheat until lvl 55. 2. Use high alch on items. If possible use it on cheap items that can yield a profit out of it. Do this from lvl 55-80. 3. Plank-make and livid farm. COMBAT 1. Upon reaching lvl 70, use Ice Burst to train to 99. There are still a couple of things that you guys mention which I don't understand, 1. What is plank-make and livid farm? 2. What are Lunar Magicks? From my understanding is this a spellbook? There are only two type of spellbooks which are lunar and ancient? 3. Can I obtain both Lunar and Ancient spellbooks? Or am I only allow for one? Although I will probably not train my magic in combat way, I will still appreciate if someone can input me on a good set of equipments for my combat magic (43ish-70ish) since I will prefer to use magic to combat when I am questing or adventuring with my friend. Hey everyone! I have a few questions regarding magic as I am planning to start training it as my core combat skill until 99. Here goes, 1. I am wondering what is the best way to get magic up to 99 quickly and cost effective? My magic level is 43 at the moment. 2. What best gear should I get when I am training my magic? I haven't played Runescape for like 3 years and I am a F2P player last time too. However, with the improvement made to Runescape and all, me and my friends decided to sub for member tomorrow for the first time. So when answering these questions, keep in mind that I am a member.
