  1. Did you get the account back yet?

If not, one avenue to try is [email protected]. Assuming you're still under 18, get your parent to fire off a couple demanding/angry/concerned emails - stating how he/she is prepared to provide ID or billing information that can prove you're the original owner of the account.

I know Jagex used to take parental concerns more seriously than players, and I've got my own WoW accounts back this way in the past.

Sigh, i haven't yet. I got their email stating i need to go here. Its not anything different just the stupid password recovery thing. I've entered two previous passwords, Other accounts i go to on the same computer, the fact i received their email proving i had been hacked, how my membership was funded, and i guess the correct date, as it didnt say creation details. This is downright ridiculous that i have nearly every single piece of information entered, and yet some hacker can just enter one password and change my whole account. Does jagex even read the damn appeals. I thought they actually came through for once =/

  2. Alright guys thanks again for you help. I got a reply from jagex, and they confirmed that my acc was accessed by a third party. Didn't know i could be hacked by using email. Never use yahoo or anything similar. =/ Guess i was just lucky enough to encounter a keylogger through it. Unfortunately, i screwed up the recovery process. I typed the wrong pass in and got a little too happy and hit enter before i knew what i had done =/. Hopefully i get a second chance.

  3. I don't understand how are you getting denied without seeing a place to enter recovery answers.

Click "I have forgotten my password", enter your login name, click "next" twice where it asks for email. It asks for recovery questions there.

Exactly my problem i do no have an email registered to it. "We do not have a recovery email address on our systems for your account. Please enter the information requested below". Then i have to enter previous pass that i remember, my location, internet provider, etc. The thing is this guy or girl... whoever changed my pass while i was logged on. Seems kind of pointless to only include recoveries on half of the process.

  4. Thanks guys, but i've tried the password recovery dozens of times. I can't seem to really get it to be successful, as i'm denied every time. That's why i was wondering if there was some place where i could enter just my recovery questions, as right now its seems like there is no point in having them if there is nowhere to use them.

  5. Hmm well it happened to me finally, but i was logged in the forced out. My pass is changed blah blah blah. What i want to know is how to recover my account. All i seem to be able to find is password recovery, which says i don't have an email registered to it. I don't remember any other passwords, or any other minor details to get that back. I set recoveries but i do not know where to use them at. Any help would be nice. Its a bit odd, since i never downloaded or went to fishy sites. I'm not too upset, since i know my stuff is nice and safe, but i'd like to get back to the game as soon as possible. I don't really want to wait for jagex to email me back 3 days later, with what i'm guessing will be sorry, can't help you.

  6. Taking three times as long to altar, at a rate of 1200/hr with war tortoise, that's 10 or 30 hours. 20 hours time to save 120m gp - 6m/hr. Worth it for all but the very highest incomes.

Wow there is always someone who knows how to calculate this stuff. Thanks a bunch. Considering i can only make around 5m a day with luck, seems this is the best alternative.

  7. Well hello again guys, and thanks for asking my questions i keep coming up with. I have a nice little stack of cash, and finally my rapier, but next goal in mind is turmoil. I calculated if i used infernal ashes, it would use up about 90.5m. I have currently 61m so it wouldn't take too long to make that money. What i want to know is if its worth 36k ashes and low price and slower method vs the 12k frost bones, yet 210m price that goes with it. Just seems like so much, since I've never had more than 100m before.

  8. If you want to, you could think about slayer tasks. Gives a nice varied experience and can make rather nice cash on certain tasks!

Also, you should think about getting the charms for 68 Summoning so that you have access to a Bunyip, they're very handy, I use them for quite a lot of the tasks I do!

If you stick at that for a while and build up your combat stats, eventually you'll be easily ready to go bossing with friends. Whenever I go bossing, I almost always profit. In the long run, do try for Overloads and Turmoil (I had Overloads before Turmoil and they were still useful then for bossing and such)

Hope these very minor tips help you out in any way at all :)

I have about 60 slayer but i could never get into it. Maybe at higher levels it would generate more profit. I guess i could try that next week, and see how it goes. After i resell my borrowed claws, and hopefully make a good profit off the bones and hides i have + the weekend, i'll see how much i can make. Do higher up slayer tasks usually last more than 1 hour? If so i can see how that could make a few mills an hour depending on the task.

  9. Well most of my cash is tied down to things to resell during double xp. Yes I'm one of those people =/. For the last 2 weeks, I have mostly soloed dung, and now i have my rapier. I've tried old school and killing dragons, but the thing is so damn good i feel like a jerk using it. With hardly any money for now, merchanting is out the window. Should i just suck it up and continue killing dragons, i mean i constantly hop from foreign server to the next looking for an empty chaos tunnels world. What else is there that i could kill for = or better profits than green dragons considering how quickly i can kill and bank. (I can't do frosts, I plan on getting 85 on Double xp, since i hate the skill so much, even so i doubt they are still good.) If your willing to share something i don't mind, but i prefer a combat method mainly because I want something more active to do compared to all that boring dunging.

    85 att

    90 str

    70 def

    77 rng

    70 mag

    70 pry

    53 summ

I think these are all the stats that really matter. Thanks in advance

  10. Well after a few days of solo i think i got the trick. Just averaged a few 12 minute meds, when before it would take me around 25 minutes. All it really takes is knowing what to gate and how to approach things. I was also wondering if soloing is doable if you have faster times. I tried world 77.... everything everyone has said is right. I've also tried clan Fc, but those are also a joke as no one is in the mood to help out. Either way i'm still happy i manged to lower my times.

  11. Generally all doors that you do not need to open to find the boss are regarded as bonus. I've never been P2P so I'm not sure about times, but 7 minutes doesn't sound too bad.

How does one determine a bonus door? To me, any door could be the boss door, right?

I guess its a bonus door because its not required if you can't open it. Every door or room should be opened but if its beyond your skills i guess its bonus. At least thats my understanding of it now.

And 2-4 minutes? Did god himself set that time lol. I guess i'll have to get better at gating or at least learn what to gate.

  12. Nex gear used to be amazing money, as it sold 5m+ over ge most all the time so you could make lots from cs snipes. Recently there were huge coinshare barriers so it was a dead method, but the Tzhaar update/manipulators have increased the price above ge again, so if you have 2-300m+ look into that.

Edit: Looking at your stats, I'd recommend you get 65 dg then cannon blue dragons in the taverly resource dungeon, I got around 1.25m/hr profit doing that with similar stats to you.

In terms of cheap flippables, 10 zerker rings is an extremely fast and easy flip I do a couple of times a day, 20k margin a ring for 4-600k a day. Takes a couple minutes at most to put in the buy/sells. And I agree with leik on furies being absolutely terrible now.

yeah i know what you mean on the furies, didnt they used to have like a 100k profit? At least when i was doing it they did. If i recall last i checked the best i could find it was around 2k..... I have nowhere near enough to flip nex gear, and i always assumed things that high in price didn't move quickly enough to even be profitable without investing. Guess i'll look into cheaper nex gear, but with a measly 37m i doubt there is anything worth trying. I find it funny people keep saying to try items, but really armor and weapons are the only things you can really flip quickly and efficiently for good money.

  13. Farming herbs along with dailies and MTK is a good place to start for "passive" money making. By passive I mean that you can't actively train them straight for say 1 hour.. can only do them part of the time.

For active money makers, green dragons in CT/wildy are pretty decent.

Well i already do dailies lol. So it seems the faster moneymakers are the old kill (insert monster name here). I was never too good at staying focused long enough for that. I wonder if the price gap, or profit will return during the summer when demand for things is better.

  14. Before you can flip the expensive items that Leik mentioned, buying items that are in high demand, but have a really low ge limit are pretty good. You can put in a pretty low offer and buy from people that aren't aware of the buy limits, so they sell it really low. I'm just doing this for one item, and it's an easy 1-2m week for 0 effort, since I always buy it at the same price.

So basically alongside flipping, finding an item thats high in demand, but a low limit for example a whip(since you can only buy 10) is a good way to make some extra cash. Yeah thats not bad i mean its extra money to do on the side, however in the future i'd like more than just 84 pray. Maybe some contruction or prayer or summoning...... Those three alone will require massive amounts of money. I knew i should've just toughed it out and made a bunch more money last summer. =(

  15. Well that really saddens me, i was hoping it was just me, but after weeks of trying i came here. Guess the obvious was in my face. I can only image the profits before i started, i mean i was making if i tried 1m an hour, but thats when it was just catching on to it years after it started. Would any of you care to "tip" me off in a better direction then. I have ok skills nothing great, i just want something that will pull in more than 1m a day.

  16. So i don't waste too much of your time I'll get to the point. I want to raise herblore to around 84 and make some extremes with that stew method I've read about.

i have about 37m from flipping last summer then i took a break, and i need around 50-60m to get the levels. (let me know if that sounds off.) Anyways I've come back again and well i can't seem to really get any item working like i used to. The market seems to have left me in the dust, as before i could get at least a 10k profit on some items and finish maybe 1m an hour. However now it seems that that range is reduced and it takes even longer for a trade to finish. Is there some new.... rule that might make it go a little faster? Is the whole flipping thing slower because of its popularity?(though i doubt that because people were doing it a lot way before i even started which was last year.)

I could sell my bandos, but the point is that I'd be broke anyways so I'd rather make enough to buy and build back.

I need to stop taking long breaks, every time i do there is always some new drastic change. Anyways thanks in advance to those who answer my slightly nooby question.
