February - 2012 Hi there! I'm Lord Necronomm. I started playing Runescape back in 2006 and this account was created sometime before 2008. Coming along, I've had many low-leveled pures and other accounts, with my most recent projects being Nitrous Zerk- a turmoil zerker w/45 def. and Sixxtie Nine- a 100% F2P account. Both are retired, as I find the game more fun on my main. Lord Necronomm has gone by several others names, those being Retritoon, Mattie-Yea, GRAWWRRZ, and Mat Dog89. Mat Dog89 actually has an old thread on these forums that I've kept up as well, you can find here. In real life, my name is Matt, I'm close to 20 years old, and I live in Alaska. I'm currently attending college, majoring in Small Business Management. I plan to graduate in late 2013 or in 2014. February 2012 Stats | Bank Worth February 29th, 2012 Didn't get to play as much the past few weeks because of school. I did have a chance to get in a few Slayer tasks and a few levels as well. I also got 126 Combat level as well with 95 Defence! Right now I'm taking a break from Slayer and getting a few skill level-ups. The first one will be 89 Magic; I have been ~50k off this level for quite some time now, so I'm heading to the Brimhaven Dungeon and killing some Irons/Steels in hopes of a Draconic Visage. Next up are 84 and 85 Woodcutting; I'll be cutting Mahogany Trees on Ape Atoll with Full Lumberjack, Dragon Hatchet, and a Strung Rabbit Foot. After that, I'll be going after 80 Construction; I'm about 120k xp off and I'll be casting Plank Make in the Lunar Spellbook to get some Magic xp, then using those planks to get 80 Construction. I also use Morphic Hammers for extra xp. Here is my (really poor at the moment..) set-up for Iron/Steel/Mithril Dragons: In my inventory I have 2 Anti Dragonfires, 8 Prayer Potions, a Tortoise pouch and a teleport. Level 95 Defence, Combat Level: 126 Hard Clue Reward #2 February 24th, 2012 I've been really busy with school this week, but I have tomorrow off! So I will be doing a huge thread update, with all the links added into my previous logs (my January Logs were from my thread on another forum, which ended up getting bugged and hasn't been fixed) as well. Most of tomorrow will be spent Slaying hopefully. The past week I've been able to finish 3 Slayer tasks since I started my 85-99 goal at the beginning of the week. After my first Slayer task, I got a Hard Clue Scroll and received a Zamorak Full Helm (~600k). Also got a few levels from opening Effigies. Currently I'm on my 166th task, and I'm thinking I'll upload a picture of my Slayer Loot after my 200th task, but that'd only be 36 tasks so I'm still debating if that will be worth it or not. Will be doing another blog update tomorrow if I get anything good, if not then after the weekend is over. :) Hard Clue Reward #1, Level 79 Mining February 20th, 2012 I lost quite a few of my January Blog entries, but I'll post the few I could find. I also haven't been playing much for the past few weeks, been really busy with school and haven't even had a chance to play except for this weekend, so I thought I'd come back and start working on my blog as Spring Break is coming soon and my school workload will go down a lot after this break as well. I did, however, decide to start over. I sold the majority of my bank and gave it all away. I ended up giving random players 10m if they did a trust trade with me, which probably got me reported by someone, but I had fun nonetheless and not going to worry about being banned. Now my plan becomes to get it all back. My first goal is to work on my skills, the first being Slayer. I'm going to get 99 Slayer and use the drops from slaying to help with my other skills. My previous goals kind of depended on Effigies, but now that Jagex has proven themselves to be against alternative methods that they didn't think of first, so I'll have to play it their way.. More content, including broken links for screen shots, old blog entries and more to come later this week! I know it looks boring, but I do have a lot of stuff that I'm planning to add later on during Spring break and the summer as well! I had a blog on another forum site, but for some reason when I posted it, my thread bugged out and didn't actually show what was supposed to be seen. I don't have the time to go back and add in the pictures for this month. January 2012 Stats | Bank Worth ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ January 10th, 2012 So after doing some thinking, I decided I'd put my current goals aside and go for newer ones. I will be going for 95 Magic and 88 Summoning. After thinking for ages of what I wanted to do with a 30m/40m cash pile (after I had to sell Dragonfire Shield later when I needed more money ) My process will be simple- Ice Bursting at Rock Lobsters. According to a 280 Crimson Charm to 1k Ice Bursts ratio I Googled I will get around 4k Crimson Charms from the 14.3k Ice Bursts I could afford to buy, plus the 1.5k Crimsons I already gad, plus opening a few Effigies I have now (7), plus any other charms I'll get will get me to 88 Summoning! After the 14.3k Ice Bursts, I'll be slightly off 95 Magic, but I'll find something out to get 95 later. Here is my set-up for Rock Lobsters. I ended up selling my Dragonfire Shield for Ragefire boots. I've also added up my costs for Summoning as well. It wasn't as bad as I thought, and some of my stuff is still buying in the GE as well, so I might have to buy for a higher price, or just wait it out.. 5550 Praying Mantis - Flowers (bought Yellow, Red, and Blue from 700gp to 1,000 gp each so far) 168 shards - 118 turn-in shards = 50 Spirit Shards per pouch = 1,250 gp. With the Blue Charms I get, I will be making Rune Minotaurs, and with the Green Charms I had from Slayer, I'm going to be making Giant Ents. I'm going to keep these pouches as well. As far as Monday and Tuesday went- nothing really good. I did a Mithril Dragon trip with my Polypore Staff and decided it was too slow, so I bought 1k Armadyl Runes only to find out that you have to complete Ritual of the Mahjarrat and I still need to get 77 Agility before I can start. I didn't do much on Tuesday because I was getting a new internet connection and the idiot tech guy had no idea what he was doing and took 2 hours to drill a hole in the wall so I could plug the modem in, for some reason he thought he was only going to set up the modem, which is easy enough to do myself, I just needed the cable line drilled into the wall! That took forever so I didn't play much during the day. I'm currently 40k away form 85 Slayer and I will resume as soon as I finish this side goal of mine. Rock Lobster Set-Up | Hard Clue #3 Reward ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ January 8th, 2012 So this weekend wasn't the best weekend for Runescape. I was very busy and didn't have time to play much. I got in a few Slayer tasks, got 88 Magic, Dragon Platelegs, my 5th Effigy, and started playing Dominion Tower for the first time. (this is my second time now editing this new blog post, so this time it's gonna be shorter than the first, my browser crashed on me for no reason) Funny thing happened when Slaying today. I had finished a Blue Dragon task, and had just finished my next one which was Iron Dragons. I went back to Kuradal and got Blue Dragons again, so I skipped and got a new assignment. Out of EVERYTHING she could have assigned, I got Iron Dragons again. I skipped those and I'm currently on a Waterfiend task, had to buy a Zamorakian Spear to Slay them effectively. I had got 88 Magic during my second Grifolaroo task. Not sure if I like these yet, I think I'd prefer Ganodermic Beasts.. During the Iron Dragon task I did, I got my 5th Effigy and Dragon Platelegs. I didn't get the pic for the legs, and I'm glad since I later found out that they were only worth 170k. (I'm used to them being 1m-2m, that's where they were I last remembered) I've also decided that I'm no longer going to deal with Kingdom of Miscellania anymore. I feel that its too outdated and I'd rather have that same money invented in Slayer, Prayer or PvM. This next week I'm going to try to update my blog once a week. Starting Monday, ending Sunday; I would like to see how much work is really involved in doing that every day, then adjust for when school starts on the 17th. I'm taking four classes next semester and I have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays- all day, four classes each day. Few pics to end as usual. 88 Magic | Hard Clue Reward #2 | Hard Clue #2 PC | Last Kingdom Loot ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ January 5th, 2012 I think I'll start my first blog off with a clue scroll I was able to log today, still on a very long bad loot streak.. Today wasn't my best productive day ever. I was able to start this thread today at 9am, and finish a Slayer Task after that. Throughout the whole day however, I was only able to complete 3 tasks and a Clue scroll. I do have a few pictures for you though, the clue loot and my 83 - 84 Slayer Loot tab. I estimate my tab to be worth around 8m, but I'm not going to bother checking until after 95. Three of those Effigies were all from Black Demons. Basically for the next few months I'm going to be doing Slayer mostly. I'm going for 99 Defence first, and I just got 94 earlier today as well, however I missed a photo opportunity. Once I get 99 Defence, I will be Ranging to 99 doing Slayer Tasks and probably a few Chinchompa trips as well. I plan on getting 99 Hitpoints before getting 99 Range, as well as getting 95 Slayer in the process. I'd like to have this done by March, but depending on how classes go this next semester (classes start January 17th), I might not be able to finish these goals until late April or May.
