Step 15: You only get 2 tries to find the heaviest weight. Method I used will work every time. The numbers used are counting the weights from left to right. First being 1, Second being 2 and so on. 1: Place 1,2,3 on left hand, 4,5,6 on the right. 2: If left hand tips the heavier weight is in that set and the same for the right hand. If neither hand tips the heaviest is in the set that is off the scales. 3: Remove all of the weights taking note of the set that the heaviest is in. 4: You are now left with 3 weights, place two of the remaining weights on the hands. (One in each hand) 5: Which ever hand tips has the heavier weight, if the scales are balanced then the third weight is the one you seek.
