  1. Thanks for the advice. Is their a decent level 80 melee weapon that is not chaotics? (pretty frustrating doing dung with strangers and don't have the cash at the moment to buy more dung levels).
  2. I am not too sure if I am using a cannon effectively so I decided to check. I recently tried bringing along a cannon to speed up slayer tasks, but found that I am either wasting the majority of cannonballs on monsters I haven't targeted (err can't remember the term for it) or running around so much to target monsters that it doesn't seem to be speeding things up much. Is there a way to mass target monsters ? Also is the cannon accuracy still tied to weapon accuracy? I am using a dragon 2h sword and it seems like the cannon rarely hits against most of the slayer monsters. Thanks!
  3. The obvious is not too clear for you guys right now. What Jagex wants to do is bring back the 2007 servers and update them simultaneously as in a way to start over. To see where they went wrong and what we as a community really wanted. I wouldn't be surprised if in a year or so 2007 servers become extremely dominant and Jagex dismantle current Runescape. I will refer to my previous post. History does not support your claim. EDIT: Whoops wrong post
  4. There is no future with EOC folks. Face it. Only the minority like it. Everyone else hates it, and on Friday i'll let the community speak for itself. Unfortunately there is, because Jagex is insisting not to abandon EOC. It seems like this will go the ways of rsc. I remember when rs2 came out and everyone was enraged because you could now eat during combat and how having special attacks took the skill out of pking. So they released a dedicated server and the vast majority of players do not play it now.
  5. After thinking about this, I decided I would be voting no (err not voting) for 2007scape. I think in terms of future growth it needs to either EOC -OR- preEOC and not some middle ground. With the options given, I would rather them spend the resources to fix the current game rather than split it between two games. EDIT That being said, there probably will be 2 concurrent games. I think a good strategy would be to nolife slayer.
  6. They high alch the rune drops.
  7. Yeah, i decided to test it out and it is definitely purely cosmetic. Oh well.
  8. I am a former Summ Tank, trying to raise my combat skills through slayer. I am finding the xp to be very slow though due to my high combat level (180) and my low combat skills (30 range, 60 attack and 60 strength) so I am thinking about raising all of my combat skills to around 80 before continuing with serious slayer training. Now with EOC I have no idea where are the decent places to train. Where should I train for 30-80 range and 60-80 attack/strength? Charms would also be nice but I am more worried about high xp rates. Also I have an ice cream cone hat. Does this still prevent dehydration in the desert? I am thinking about power mining granite to raise some mining levels and this would be a pretty useful thing if so. Thanks!
  9. Ahh thanks, that clears some things up. I did notice that I get range xp with hydra familiar, regardless of what style I am training, and can not seem to find a way to get mage xp with any familiar even when I am autocasting spells. What gives?
  10. I was a summ tank and quit a few months ago, however I decided to try out EOC and raise my other combat skills. Since I currently have very low combat stats (under 30 for attack, stength range and mage) and highish combat level (171), I have been using combat familiars to help speed along the process. Overall it is going fine, but I can not seem to get any mage xp from the familiars that are supposed to give mage xp (fire titan, dust devil). Am I doing something wrong? Has dungeoneering changed at all (can I solo it for decent xp)? Thanks.
