I see people complaining about the current RS, saying it's not the game they want(RS forums had alot of these complaints). Well, I want a Viking-themed Assassin's Creed, a world-sized MMOFPS/RTS, and i wanted that MechScape thingy. Oh, wait, I'm a player, not the guy making the games. I don't decide shit, the devs do. So, apart from the cash jagex will get from the few people that will pay for 2007RS, they have no reason to do this. Ignore the retards, crybabies, etc, and keep going forward. Do I agree with all the updates? Of course not, and some of them could have been handled better: Solomon and Squeal should have gone slower, instead of new items every week it probably would have been better if it was new items every month or so. But like they said before, all the money from those things went into the game, the team, etc. The players got used to jagex updating every week. I don't know any other game where updates come that often. Hell, I'd like some games to update atleast monthly, instead of every once in a blue moon. And if they need SoF and Solomon to keep the quality up and keep adding new and better things, then I'm all for it (not saying i'll pay for anything :D let's leave that to the rich kids). Even if the 2007RS comes back, it won't be the same. The community won't go back to what it was before. People change, and now we have more of the less desirable types. These types will go to that server and people will complain even more. Runescape grew, but seems some people can't accept that. Yes, there's alot of good memories from "Old" RS, but you won't get them back. You'll never feel epic again when you get that rune platebody or when you kill your first dragon/epic monster. I remember, as F2P, saving up 20k and running around for hours asking for a rune platebody Q.Q so awesome when I finally got it. But if the small things don't leave good memories, go do other stuff. Solo the bosses. Try and do the "impossible". Do tricky quests with no quest guide(the elves' quests O_O ). Have fun, but stop complaining. Things change, and we should keep up with them. I've been playing for 8-9 years, and I will not vote for this. I don't want the old stuff, I want Runescape and it's already here. Now, I wonder how many of the people complaining and voting actually played RS back in 2006 or 2007? How many are botters, scammers, etc? I reckon the gold farmers/sellers will be happy, new start for everyone will be awesome for them.
