Why not ban him? They seem pretty sure he botted?
He did bot.
I'm guessing they let him off with a second chance due to his longevity of being a subscribed member (yes they do take that in fact before permanent banning)
They only took 200m xp off him? Got off lightly if you ask me.
thats true
First tracked since october 27 2007
200m dg -> 180m dg
200m range -> 180m range
200m cook -> 180m cook
150m farming -> 135m farming (lol)
111m constitution -> 100m constitution
meh, shouldn't take that long to get all those ranks and xp back
10% reduction in EXP then, don't think I've seen that done before.
Yeah, all I've seen is either 50% rollback or perm bans.

Keeps getting better,
http://runetracker.org/track-spaghettio0o,0,2
Spaghettio0o - Botting fm at jadinko lair as well.
Overall rank ~100 before ban. Casatres, you're prolly next LOL.
-
gained 60 levels in a year.
Whoever had your account wasn't playing RS right.
On a side note, be glad you aren't gvd or casatres LOL.

Gets banned, must lurk.
Just to clarify, I am in no way related to the user W48 Burthope Unit, although my name is obviously inspired by that user.
And I guess this thread is dead until the next ban wave of high levels, which I can guarantee will happen, mark my words :)
Jen, is that you?
Godo? .
Also, having multiple accounts on TIF isn't against the rules, but posting on another one when one is banned is.
Hah, not godo, nice try though.
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Botwatch was ready etc.
(that's g0d again btw)

next is perm

Latest Completionist player to get banned.
http://runetracker.org/track-jonttuh,12,2
Jonntuh - Nearly 1.3 bil total xp, botting firemaking at jadinko lair, not surprising.
AHK can sometimes be flagged if it's not randomized, no? I took it to mean that he was using AHK but not that he was using 'illegal' scripts.
Doesn't have to be randomized in order to get flagged, several max players have used AHK within the past 2 months and gotten perm banned/rollbacked.
G0d vs D3vil - Either AutoHotKey for fletching or using another macroGvD is back, no rollback
I'd like to know what made you state that GvD was using a bot/illegal AHK. Or are you just making wild guesses for the pure sake of calling high level players out.
I have my sources, I know people.
Skype, HLF posts, irc, and words from some people in EE and those in the top 50.
Only skill which was being done before the ban happened was fletching
-
Didn't md3w have like 10-11 crackers?
at some point he did, he sold most of his rares before getting banned
dont banned accounts rares just go into ge mid price or something?
yes they do
Those who had offers for a blue, white, and a cracker for months at max price (2147m ge price, when their street price is 2x+ that amount), got lucky when those rares from banned accounts got placed back onto the ge

LOL EE is under alot of scrutiny and hunts.
Dj Birdicus (Atticusbird) was unbanned earlier today, there was apparently a mistake.
Recent Banned accounts (Cya in 2 weeks or less)
G0d vs D3vil - Either AutoHotKey for fletching or using another macro
Recently UNBANNED account (Enjoy your new start)
Dankipz - GG 200M agil xp, all xp halved, account unbanned yesterday.

Although Jagex’s games are free to play online, about a fifth of its customers pay for premium membership.
As a result, Jagex’s revenues were £53m in 2012, up from £32.9m in the nine months to the end of 2011, generating a pre-tax profit of £9.7m and a £10.9m increase in its cash holdings to £21.8m.
North America accounts for about two-thirds of those playing Jagex games, while a quarter are in the UK. Most of the remaining 10 per cent is split between other EU countries and Australia.

one or two top+bottoms out of the game won't affect druidic prices.
have you sold your pieces yet?

Curious as to why these 2 Completionist Players were rollbacked with about 1/6th of their total xp for botting at the Jadinko Lair
-
So the Number 1 Player on 07 SCAPE, Razzeh was banned for massive amounts of RWT
To Break it down:
> Staked/Diced on Razzeh (EOC)
> Sold his gold to buyers/the Chinese
> Exchanged various amounts of EOC gold to 07 SCAPE gold via GP Swap clans/services on the RS Forums
> Used that exchanged gold to mass level up his Razzeh (07 SCAPE) account
> Several weeks of this process led to being ranked 1 on 07 SCAPE highscores
> Tells his fans that he "will quit once he reaches 2k total on 07 SCAPE)
> Reaches/close to reaching 2K total
> Starts botting at Automaton Guardians/Tracers
> cya m8 perm banned
This is terrible. Not saying EOC is easier due to SOF/more free exp or that their isn't RWT on old school, but how in his rabbit mind did he think he could get away with that crazy exp gain without red flags? Did he not think to do it in moderation?
The last known bans happened in December
These bans Happened 3-4 days ago, and we're in the month of June
If there haven't been any massive/known bans within a 6 month time period, I'm guessing they assumed they would go un-noticed.
Sketchy how all these bans happen right before RS3 is being released along with Divination.

Permed for dungeoneering bot. Cancelled subscription as I figure it's probs not worth appealing. Was hoping they could just reset a lot of my skills if they were mad.
136K xp/hour at level 115 dg?
You wasted $25 on that, along with all the months of membership you paid for till that banned happened.
Was worth it, amirite?

-
Seems that most of these players got banned from
Botting Dungeoneering
Botting at Jadinko Lair
Botting at Thieves Guild
Botting at Runespan
The majority being dungeoneering.
and Lol.

But, it's all about the efficiency.
I'm really shocked here...
speaking about efficiency...
;)

More or less the points I was making. But I do admit now seem pretty difficult as it could be a hacking attempt or a friend just helping. Which would suck, a don't find a one or two time deal that bad tbh. It's the same with me getting my boyfriend to help me on a certain part of Catherine or me helping him in MGS1. He's doing most the work but he's just having a small problem killing Metal Gear Rex twice and vice versa.
Also, haha! Pk noob br. I remember him being a problem for one warband FC before.
Goldennn (2496) was ranked in warband pk as well

Love the way HLF is jumping on this. *eats popcorn*
Haha
I'm not really surprised that more and more members for dg selling fcs are banned
Also, DGS... Luol Deng is like the 5th person to get banned from there. The first 4 came from the ban on christmas day.
200m dg xp wiped out, just like that.
Pretty bad rep for a clan like DGS

Lol sad how I dunged with a few of these people a few days ago too..
Handful of these users were ranked in dg/floor selling fc's.
I had caught one of those users, who deliberately left their fc for an hour, so they could 'solo floors' in order to reset.
Here's the catch, he was smart enough to keep his private on.
Added him to my friends lsit, quick hopped to his world, which was empty.
Before he was able to enter the ladder to dg, I threw a gnomeball at him
And there he was, standing by the entrance for an hour because his macro was not able to unequip the gnomeball and drop it.
With the few gold seller still out there who still spam you to death, plus with his botting activity, you'd think his private would be set to friends or off.
Also, you just have random Gnomeballs in your bank?
Whats wrong with having gnomeballs in your bank?
You do know that they are efficient at 'breaking' the scripts botters use, right?
Here's an example of what I did
-
My rs account got banned today as well. Username: Path
2494 Total / Blue and yellow phat.
Botting dg too, huh?

Proof?
idk how i randomly stumbled upon this but.. RIP tugn/henryy and lol@people who still play this game
Henryy was at curly roots
Was silly to see him misclick on a jadinko baby several times to the point where his bar is half red, and the macro logs him out.

New Moderators - Local Moderators
in General Discussion
Posted
http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Local_Moderators
What is a Local Moderator?
Local Moderators (LMods) are members of our partners’ staff in chosen territories. They will be managing their designated community and can be found in-game and on the forums in certain localised game worlds.
LMods are there to assist new players, organise events, run competitions, engage and protect the community in-game and on the forums. LMods cannot give free items or trade with other players.
We currently have LMods on the Spanish and Portuguese versions of the game and forums. In the future we might expand this feature to other partners in different territories/languages.
How does someone become a Local Moderator?
The only way to become a Local Moderator is if you are part of the Community Management Team working for one of our official partners. Currently, partners with Local Mods are: Gamerica/UOL for Brazilian Portuguese and Aexso5 for Latin-American Spanish.
How will I recognise a Local Moderator in-game?
Local Moderator characters look no different from any other players when they are in-game, and like other players they can be any level. When a Local Moderator speaks they are very easy to identify, as you will always see a small purple crown next to their name when they type a message. This crown shows in all the chat types including private messages and Quick Chat. Below is an example of the crown you will see in the chat box.
How will I recognise a Local Moderator on the forums?
Whenever a Forum Moderator makes a forum post, their text will appear on a purple background and they will have the words 'Local Moderator' beneath their name.
Will Local Moderators help me?
When you see a Local Moderator in-game, they will endeavour to answer any questions you may have if they are able to. Sometimes however they may be busy running an event or even investigating a possible bug so If a Local Moderator does not respond then please do not be offended, as they will be working at making the game better for everyone.
If you do not get an answer to your question, you should check the Game Guide for the information you were looking for if it is game related or Contact Us for any account/non-game help.
Will Pmods and FMods still exist in these localised worlds where LMods are present?
Yes, think of LMods as members of the Community Management team who are usually in-game for special occasions. We still believe that the volunteer Player Moderators and Forum Moderators’ teams are essential for our community.
What tools do Local Moderators have in-game for their role?
Local Moderators have direct channels to contact Jagex Staff. Local Moderators, just like all players, can report others when they see something that may harm the community. They are given guidance and have the additional ability to add a mute to a report for more serious issues. Jagex have a dedicated team who monitor and review every report received as a matter of priority to ensure that any actions taken by a Local Moderator are correct.
In addition to that, Local Moderators have some tools which facilitate organising and running in-game events.
