  1. Hi, I took a long break from playing RS (to be honest, it just got boring and I had better things to do), but I want to play a bit again now. I'm not sure exactly how long it's been but as a point of reference Dungeoneering had just come out. So I logged in today (I have a couple of times), and everything is different. I clicked a spinny thing and got an XP lamp. That was new. I arrived in Burthorpe upon logging in as an f2p player - is that no longer p2p only? I can also use dragonhide which is weird. Rune equipment is level 50 rather than 40 (doesn't make a difference for me), and there seems to me so much clogging up the map. And I have no clue what's a 'lot of money'. You could get borderline perfectly kitted out (aside from a ring of fury etc) back when I last played for about 10m, but I don't know a) what the best and affordable equipment is (is a whip still the go-to weapon?) and b) how much everything costs. It's just the little things which are confusing, and I'm sure there's a ton I haven't noticed yet, so if someone could tell me what on earth's going on I'd be very grateful. edit: why have I no longer completed Demon Slayer and Rune Mysteries? edit 2: how the [bleep]ery have I gained 50 combat levels?
