At the end when he ask you for essence, if you have "Pure Essence" he will only need 25. I grabed a full inventory on it and brought it to him expecting to go back and get therest but he only took 25 of the 28 i had in inventory. and then he gives me the dagger and quest complete. you might want to put this in the guide for people to know incase they have the nevels to get pure essence.
