Hmm I would put a toll gate on the Fally Park. The fee would be 10gp... Though it may seem small, it would easily add up with all those people! :shock:

I have only a few goals for this summer:
- Get at least 80 fletching
Merchant my way to a Guthan's spear
Get 100 combat
- Get at least 80 fletching

I would most definitely fight along side of the combat tutor from tutorial island or Sir Amik from the white knights.

I would argue differently. It is natural human behavior to show of and be better than other people. It is our very nature that we should always want to be better or smarter or _______ than everyone else.
Personally, I hate people like that. Runescape is all about having fun, and bragging and doing whatever it takes to get there just isn't in the nature of the game.

Well I got my name from one of my best friends back in about fifth grade. We were at camp having an all star wrestling pillow fight/brawl. Each one of us had to come up with a name and he gave me Crusher.
Sadly he gave in to the dark side and his family moved away to Canada later that year. :cry:

While it is great to be helpful (and I love people who are) you still need to protect your own interests. If it doesn't take too much of my time or my resources, I will gladly help.
If I can't help I usually refer them to the knowledge base. The most important thing to remember though is when someone can't help you, at least respect that and say thanks anyways.

In my opinion, they are hitting the motherload right now! They figured out that we wanted quality over quantity. They also have finally figured out that they had better listen to what the community wants rather than what they think would work best.
But most of all, they are starting to fill in all the gaps and question marks in RS history. I think pretty soon we will see a great storyline of the history of RS emerging.

I asbolutely loved by rune long sword. That was back in the day of RSC where you bought them from the shop for, what is it 32k? I worked so hard and long to get that!

Hmm it seems to me that Jagex finally figured out that Content is king. Above that fact people prefer quality over quantity.
I love the idea that the future is in the hands of the people. That shows some great trust in the community. Either that or they already have a plan for each area and are just letting the people decide what they get first. :roll:

I agree absolutely wholeheartedly. Runescape is a game of dedication and perseverance. To succeed you have to stick with the job and the time required to finish it.
People who buy gold or power-leveling services are simply proving the point that they have no patience or determination.

I think Ganon's idea is to make up responses in his own style that is different from Jagex.

I would have to go with my portal room. The initial cost of the room + all of the runes to charge the portals can add up a bit. Especially if you change your mind and do it all over again!

Back on topic now:
Kudos to Jagex for finally turning out a month with decent updates that were well thought out! I think that they finally got it into their heads that the players of Runescape would rather see quality over quantity.
Hopefully this is the start of such behaviour. =D>

I'm in the same boat with greenboy. If I'm playing music that means I can't hear the game and the sfx. So no music for me!
Well now that I think about it. With the new sound panel in vista I might have to give it a try. With that one you can adjust the volume of each individual program! :lol:

In this player's opinion, I would argue that POH's were definitely for the better of the game.
They brought in many new aspects such as portals, teletabs, and alters. It has really enhanced gameplay and encouraged friendships. It is also a nice money drain that takes out a very small chunk of the bazillions out there.
My favorite part: My portal room :D

I would however argue with your last statement, "any noob" could easily get 99 construction given the money.

My best trade ever would probably have to be buying 4k coal for 150gp each and then selling them 20 mins later at 200gp each. :shock:

I'm gonna have to stick with my theory:
Jagex added the Wise Old Man to the game just to make us ponder his true meaning. He has no other meaning that to drive us crazying with trying to think up his meaning! Oh how Ironic that would truly be... #-o
