  1. Thanks everyone for submitting these images!

I've added all information to the items database, and gave credit where credit was due.

At this moment there are two images that are still missing. If anyone has those in .gif or .png format then please post them in this thread.

    - Ammunition requisition orders: Need backpack image and examine text.

    - Equipment requisition orders: Need backpack image and examine text.

  2. ok, what manner is acceptable for tip.it site? I know a few ppl that may be interested in doing this.

It would have to be coded in such a way that the tip.it crew can maintain it. This means it must be coded using one or more of these technologies: javascript, html, css, ajax, php and mysql.

  3. Here's what I managed to scrape from my screenshots so far:

  4. Hey there, not long ago I read the Bank interest topic, and it gave me and idea of Bank loans.

What if you could loan money from banks and pay them back as large sums quickly or in smaller sums slower?

Very bad idea considering the fact Runescape is played by lots of young people. It would be bad to send those a message that loaning money for quick wins is a good idea. I'd rather introduce a system where saving money (piggy bank?) will earn them some extra money.

  5. I don't know why Jagex made it so you can be in 1 clan chat at a time. I think clan chats should be like irc channels, where you can join as many as you want, but you can only lootshare on 1. Also, make lootshare wait time 30 seconds instead of the 2 minutes.

I second the idea of being in more than one clan chat at a time. Personally I would only need 2, but I can imagine others wanting more.

  6. Are you saying you manually enter the ratio? Why not just have the computer calculate it?

That's not what I'm saying. We do use a formula to calculate the ratio. However, the ratio is used in various scripts on the site. So while I think I caught them all, it might very well be possible that I missed a spot somewhere.

  7. Alright now! So, we've been looking into the matter, and realized that some of the coding never got changed. Silly us  So we're currently fixing this so that everything matches up. If you notice any errors in the future, don't hesitate to say something :) And if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to PM me. Thanks for your help.

All fixed now. Ratio is being calculated as ((Life Points / 10) / Level).

  8. This change has been made. When searching for a herb by its name (Rannar, Torstol, Lantadyme etc.) in the Bestiary, you will now be presented with a list of all creatures that drop herbs (or herb seeds). Keep in mind that lower level monsters are more likely to drop lower level herbs and vice versa.

  9. Here's how I finally managed to do it... Took me about 10 tries to figure out the strategy that would work for me, and 3 tries to actually make it happen

My stats: Combat 123, Str, Att and Def 90, HP 92, Ranged 85, Prayer 78, Summ 79.

Armour: Armadyl platebody, Armadyl platelegs, Robin hat, Ranger boots, Barrows Gloves, Dragonfire shield, Amulet of Fury, Archer ring, Ava's accumulator, Rune Crossbow

Supplies: 100 ruby bolts(e) in your quiver, 100 diamond bolts(e) in backpack, Tortoise filled with tuna potatoes, 2 range pots, 5 tuna potatoes, 15 sara brews and 5 super restores.

Tactics: Autoretaliate off so you will be able to hide behind a pillar without being dragged out. Prayer eagle eye and Steel skin on. Pot up range pot and start the fight. In the beginning I used food the most, save the brews/restores for later or when needed to restore prayer. Grab extra food from tortoise when there's time and some space in your backpack.

Once Nomad lays down the red mines, move to the south, just outside the minefield and range him from there. Then, the moment he warns you in the chat window, run behind a pillar and dodge the 75hp attack. This may take some training to figure out which spot is best to use for hiding. Then immediately run back from behind the pillar and continue the attack.

When the clones come, switch to diamond bolts. (Because ruby bolts will not hurt a clone, but it will cost you hitpoints if the special hits) . Nomad will attack slightly later than his clones. That's how you can figure out which one is the real one. When the clones are gone, switch back to ruby bolts.

When Nomad freezes you to perform his devastating max-1 attack, use sara brews to raise your hitpoints to well above maximum and switch to diamond bolts. You don't want to receive damage from your own special just when you need to be at max hitpoints!!

Repeat all of the above until Nomad switches to his fast melee attacks. At that point, also add protect from melee prayer and switch on auto-retaliate. Eat and/or use brews when needed. When you have little food left, it's probably best to switch to diamond bolts.

I sometimes took one sip of the ranger potion after his 75hp attack and always after i restored from the max-1 attack. I saved 1 sip of the ranger potion for the end of the fight, when Nomad switched to fast melee attacks.

After killing Nomad I had 3 brews and 1 super restore left. Am I a happy camper now? You betcha!! :P

  10. I didn't find it hard to buy Saradomin Brews, Maybe (4) but not (3), they bought instantly at max.

Oh my. I've spent hours waiting for my G.E. order for several (4) dose to no avail. Changed it to buying (3) dose instead and had them instantly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  11. \' I finished the quest \'

For anyone having trouble with the level 400+ guy at the end: Switching prayer is the key to success. I tried a couple of times with melee prayer only, and high mage defense gear, and had to give up after eating all my 16 tuna potatoes. When I changed to the 'keep switching prayer' method, I only used two potatoes. Go figure. Also: use the piety prayer if you can and keep an eye on your stats to see when to sip a super restore.

  12. A tree in this area will give you a key, once you find this key, there should be a visible track leading back south west, follow it to the chaos temple surrounded by lava.

The key I found was not in the area shown in the picture at all, but in the other area filled with trees a bit earlier in the search. It seems that *any* inspectable tree in the vincinity of the footsteps trail might give you the key you need.

  13. Simple: find your emails that contain the payment details for your membership. Send the transaction-id's to Jagex as proof that it's *you* who is paying for the account and ask them to reset your password for you. It's basically the same you would do to get back a hacked account.

  14. What I find interesting is written as one of the "Also useful" requirements. "Knowledge or experience of developing products for multiple platforms, :!: including mobile :!: "

Would this mean that we'll be able to use our mobile phones for Runescape? Lots of phones can run Java software nowadays, so perhaps we can do some Grand Exchange merchandising while we're on the move, or perhaps just use the Jagex chat feature to talk with our clanmates using our phone...

    Any thoughts on this?
