  2. i like: the background is less 'abstrakt' to me and more defined.. (looks like a space catwalk or something starwarsy) and it looks interesting.. nice overall balance... im also a sucker for the color scheme... love the duatone stuff... my only critique: i see this style a lot on these boards... keep pushing different styles keep at it :D
  3. thanks for all the positive feedback everyone :D i always intended to make more... but i always get stuck trying to think of a funny story line... that and rl work requires a lot of attention... keep at it everyone :D Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. -Pablo Picasso
  4. this has been posted before... on the old boards i think.. but i just discovered it again and thought i'd share with anyone who hadn't seen it yet... http://runescape.scotphelps.com/ its about 600k .swf rate.. comment... or just watch and smile :D (yeah i know.. it needs sound)
  5. not bad for 15 minutes in a new program (: if you want to work in the game industry... i'd strongly suggest maya... there are some companys that still use 3dmax ( i know that electronic arts is phasing it out in favor of maya)... max and maya cost about the same ($2000 i believe for maya... a bit more for max with character studio (which is a must for character animation)) and maya is stronger on the animation side i know a lot of modelers who still prefer max or lightwave for modeling but for animation.. maya wins hands down imo bottom line... use whatever you can... it's easier to teach someone how to use a program that it is to teach them how to animate nice job (: keep at it (hi ttia :) )
  6. are those original illustrations Zimlem (your old examples)? if so.. amazing stuff... proportions are right on
  7. looks nice wyrm... great job typesetting.. it's such a lost art... very balanced and nice color choices... kudos
