  1. They're from both. Haven't you read The Oedipus Cycle?
  2. As many of you have noticed, a new dungeon has opened in the Barbarian village. I was going through it and fighting minotaurs when I started thinking about Jagex putting monsters from Greek mythology into Runescape. Here are some of my ideas: Centaurs: Centaurs would be about level 15, dropping bones (100%) and bronze armor (50%). They would wield spears and would not be hostile. They would have villages in the forests with training areas. They could have a talk option as well as fight and examine options. Harpies: Harpies would be level 20, dropping bones (100%) and raw fish (70%). Their attacks would be with claws and/or wings. They would be hostile and live alone, possibly around the outskirts of castles. Gorgons: Gorgons would be high-level, most likely level 40. The attacks would be claws and a magic-like attack that would stun a player. They would be hostile, of course, and travel either alone or in groups of three. They would probably live in the wilderness. Sphinx: This would be a random event. The Sphinx would appear and ask a riddle. If the answer is wrong, the Sphinx commences to attack the player. If the answer is right, the Sphinx will fall over dead, leaving gold, big bones, and gems. Seeing as it would be a random event, it would have no home. These are only a few of my ideas. If you have any suggestions or criticism, feeling free to contribute.
  3. You know those pigs that take up room but don't do anything? Why not use them as food. They could have six hitpoints, be level 4 or 5, drop ham (which would look like a cartoon ham). The ham would heal three hitpoints and could be cooked like beef or chicken.
