The ticker may also not be in real time too. And apparently you can still make accounts through the main page, just not through the game itself. *Shrugs*

This is usually my downtime right before I'm getting dinner set up and such anyway. :lol: If RuneScape was down for a day, I usually end up reading or watching some old classic movies. :P Or I'd go out, head into the city, and just have some fun window shopping and doing some random sightseeing, or head up to the botanical gardens (despite my allergies).
(It's been down for over an hour... RIP!)

You live in an interesting area (assuming you didn't move) based on your YT video. I have the challenge of living far and between cities, and basically anyone who's interesting.

I had to travel a bit to get to my favorite place just for the video. :P Didn't really matter since I was planning to go out anyway. But commuting into the city sucks, public transportation and driving wise. XD

First I got all excited. Then when I heard the requirements, I got all :( faced. Still, it'll be nice to head back to Ardougne for more than just Penguin Points. :P

To be more on topic though, with the little bit I've played so far on the beta, it's going to take some getting used to. I like RuneScape for its simplicity, and didn't like WoW and other games so much because I had to crawl all over the keyboard to mash buttons to attack. :( The moves are quite nifty though.

For those of us who are interested in the look of the armour themselves, the Batwing robes are quite similar to the ones that Vanescula is wearing on the back cover of Legacy of Blood (third RuneScape book). (Sorry, just took the picture on the fly and didn't fix the camera but this should be good enough :P And yea, the lore is messed up it seems... D'oh!)

If they're handing out the Golden Katana just because people turned in the wrong card, that just feels mean and unfair to those of us who did follow the directions. <_<
Guess it's now a wait and see game. I'll just run around with my plain katana in the meantime. XD

Actually I just thought of something:
A few of us pursued the buy-4-months-for-6-months offer back in December and the offer was made again to those of us who did (announced privately via e-mail, and yes it was legitimate; didn't click on the links and instead went on the RuneScape site and the offer was there for me in the shop). I wonder if it has anything to do with that (assuming you go for the offer).
I kind of want to try it, seeing as technically I'd be saving some money, although not much since I have the loyalty rate... O.o'
EDIT: Ah heck, I gave it a try anyway. Sorry guys, this isn't the answer to the mystery of how to obtain this magical item! No golden katana! :(

For what it's worth, we've had younger staff members join the team before, provided they show a good level of maturity.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you Jagex for bringing Runespan into the game. Never thought I'd get this 99, even with the effigies. XD Still not Rank 1 Esteem yet, but I'll get there soon. In the meantime, there are other things left to do. :P
Thanks to all those who put up with me daydreaming, and sometimes falling asleep, at Runespan. I know it must've been annoying talking to me and then realizing I was kind of bleh. :lol:

Think this is the best topic to post in, Mod Jacmob has meant to have revealed that Optimus will come out in July and that it 'will not be delayed further'.

Was F2P at the time, but wasn't on RS. I was actually working at the election polls. :| Got up at 5:00AM to get to the polling station at 6:30AM and worked until 9:30PM. XD I still have the pin commemorating the day too. O_o

Judging from the rates you've posted, I guess it's reasonable to believe that you have that kind of percentage. I wonder if it's the same for F2P since people seem to have observed more rare and super rare rewards from the SoF, although it wouldn't surprise me if it's only slightly higher since it can be used as a marketing tool for P2P, whether we like it or not. I don't think this data is entirely useless if compared to other logs made of spins during this current period, before another shuffle is done in the future.

You know, I wonder if the solution to all this was simply to have those 2.3k people on RuneScape right now to log off, and things get fixed again. XD (One can dream!)
