  1. Considering my post was saying how there is this movement of fake "emo" today where many of the bands playing are labeled as emo when they really aren't. Bands like Sunny Day Real Estate and Rites of Spring are real emo. Just about every band you listed falls under this category of fake emo/screamo. Fake emo/screamo?  I know that a lot of those bands have been around a lot longer than this 'fake emo/screamo' movement or whatever you decided to dub the inflation of more underground bands coming out and getting recognition so we no longer have to listen to crap like Linkin Park, Nickleback, Creed, etc on the radio anymore. Most of the bands I listed are infact one of the following: melodic hardcore, metalcore, punk, 'insert genre here', etc. The Unseen, Strike Anywhere, and Strung Out are punk bands. Darkest Hour, DEP, Bleeding Through, and Zao are hardcore/metalcore bands. Alexisonfire and UnderOath you can cramp into you're 'fake emo/screamo' movement, even though UnderOath has been around awhile. Thrice and The Receiving End of Sirens are more melodic post-hardcore. Avenged Sevenfold sucks and are just a metal band now.
  2. Too bad none of you idiots know what emo is. -AlexisonFire -Avenged Sevenfold -The Bled -Bleeding Through -Darkest Hour -Dillinger Escape Plan -MewithoutYou -The Receiving End of Sirens -Strike Anywhere -Strung Out -The Unseen -Thrice -Tsunami Bomb -UnderOath -Zao I'd go just to see those bands and none of them are emo. Just because there are a few pop-punk/screamo bands on the tour it doesn't make it an emo tour. There are a lot of good hardcore/metalcore bands also playing that make up for it.
  3. I've mostly been listening to lately: -Darkest Hour -Evergreen Terrace -As I Lay Dying
