Here are some good suggestions that I hope Jagex does for Carpentry, and a new stat called Beastiary. Also how Farming and Carpentry can be worked into helping Player Owned Houses be a successful update. I'll apologize ahead of time sorry about the length but hopefully its worth it. Tell me what you think. Also I think the quality of Jagex's updates is getting sloppy if they stopped just pumping out worthless updates and concentrated again on big things like all of this by the holiday, with just a few quests inbetween I would enjoy that much more. Leave your opinions :) Carpentry-You should be able to make different wagons and carts. There would be different lvl carts that would have different lvl's to make. Then each cart could only be pulled by a couple of animals. For instance a chariot would have to be pulled by 2 horses, and couldn't b pulled by cows or oxen. For carpentry you would use nails from smithing(diff level nails from bronze-rune with different lvl breaking chances) to put your things together. You could make different, furnitures for your houses. Also you could make different level fences that go around your house. This is where you would keep you animals you're raising. (Just a possibility you could also make ships, using woodcutin, logs, crafting, sails, making it waterproof with caulk, smithing, nails, mining, nails, carpentry, planks......but then you would need a crew....either hire npcs or use friends, this would only be possible on one certain sea, I mean how fun would it be if you had about 2 hours with your clan, and you set up a boat, every1 bringing their skills to help and then crewed it across the sea to kill foreign creatures such as lizardmen, you could even have your bears to help you stored below deck in cages. When you were on the sea and that sea only, you would move just like normally, the captain would have a map and decide where to stop, it wouldn't jus show you bording and disembarking, you'd have to sail the ship the whole time. That would be the ultimate clan trip.) Player Owned Houses-There would be a small neighborhood in the big cities. With shanties for low lvls, decent sized like suburban house for mid levels, an mansions for high lvls. You would have to pay a small price to buy a house like 30k to buy shanty, 150k to buy average house, an 400k to buy mansion. They would be like plots, it'd be yours but other people would have the same house. Their would be a couple different looks for each of the different level houses in cities(maybe not). Then around the houses their'd be some space. In this space their would be a couple spots to plant crops, only the simple crops, belladonna would still be in canifis, and such. Also in this space you could use carpentry and make fences. In these fences depending how you built them you could raise different animals with you Beastiary skill. They would range from cows, chickens, pigs, horses, to dogs, wolves, bears. Other than this the POH would just be something to show off when u had the mansion that was extremely lush with all plush dragonhide leather couches :) Beastiary-You would start beastiary by being given a egg after completeing a quest from the Zookeeper in Ardougne. Then from this one egg you would raise a chicken around your house. As the chicken grew up you would get exp. Chick to Young Chicken to Chicken to Old Chicken. After you have done the quest you can get young animal drops from mammals, or egg drops from birds, reptiles, amphibians. Some of the animals that would be used for leveling while low but are kind of worthless would be chickens, pigs, and cows. Then as you leveled their would be different uses for the animals. For instance for transportation their would be horses, oxen, and camels. They would all be only able to pull certain things. Once you got the animal to be fully grown it would be able to survive on its own in the pen(their'd be a lake and grass). For fighting there would be dogs, foxes, wolves, tigers, bears, up to at the highest a dragon. You would have to feed them meat. They would have to be kept in cages in a shed next to the meadows. When you would feed them you'd slip the meat between the bars. When you wanted to go fightin, you would let them out and they would follow you and help you fight. They would not be allowed in the wildy, and they would have a certain amount of hp. They would die if they ran out of hp and you'd have to raise another. You could alway's raise them and then let the loose on the edge of some woods. However when you do this there'd b a cutseen of them running away, and then when it went back to normal screen they'd be gone. THEY COULD ONLY HELP IN NON MULTI COMBAT AREAS though. Suggestions taichi123-You could raise Dagganoths in the lake around your house.
