As far as I know, it usually depends on the dojo ones goes to. Perhaps your friend's dojo/teacher has lesser requirements to get to a black belt.

Well... i went last night. No girls slept over. My best friends g/f still couldnt sleep over, so one of the girls couldnt, and the last one said that she didnt feel comfortable being the only girl, so they just all left at 1am. Oh well, maybe next time.

:oops: :lol: I dont think most of you understand, all of these girls are basicly my close friends (although i have dated one for about 3 months before). Im preatty sure we wont be playing spin the bottle, unless something horrible happens (and although we are all just friends there, im friends with some preatty good looking girls :-$ ) And obviously there are not going to be drugs or drinking (unless his mom says we can raid her little cabinet, then perhaps a little. Well then, this weekend my best friend is having his halloween party. At first it was just till about 1am in the morning. Now its a sleep over. My parents are all good with it, and his mom said it was alright. So far only two girls are going (to the sleep over part). The main girl thats not going though is his g/f because her parents belive it is socialy unacceptable. We are all 16, and all a close group of friends and good kids, we dont do drugs or drink. Do you think co-ed sleep overs are a good idea or a breeding ground for disaster.

I doubt they have a better life. There are tons of kids at my school who may not be rich, but have alot more money then normal people (they go buy cloths every week and waht not) and they are usually the ones involved in drugs or fights all the time, and generaly dont seem that happy. I know that i have more money then almost all of my friends, but i rarly ever use it, i dont need it except in certain situations. I can get by on myself.

How old are? I know when I was younger, I was bullied almost every day, and I felt depressed because of it (although i couldnt figure it out at the time). Then I went to a psychologist, and we ran some small tests on me, and found i wasnt depressed. Why was this? By the time i got to the doctor about it (remember, i didnt know why i was depressed at the time), i was not bullied anymore, plus i had grown up a little. So look at your life right now, is somone doing something to you? or perhaps it is a phase, and you just need to wait a while to go through it.

well you say its cold, but i doubt its "cold". So, if you got any engergy, i would suggest maybe taking your g/f on a long hike somewhere. Doesnt have to be all day, but like a 2 hour hike is nice, and you can talk while you are at it (good exercise too). BTW, how old are you (I probably missed that in one of your topics). Off-topic: Ive never played a full intelligent game of monopoly. I want somone to play a full game with one day :(

Thats awsome! I have DDRExtream2, so its probably diffrent then all of ours. I can do all songs on light, and am starting to do alot on standard. Its bloody hard though.

I thought this too, but im looking on the internet, and i can find no offical Periodic table which says so. most dont even include higher then 113, and those that do seem to have named 110 and 111, wierd. I think thats kinda being overly analystic. You knew what he ment. Sure it was his choice to take the drugs, but once he took them, he wasnt himself, the friend was a compleatly diffrent person, probably not in control of his thoughts. In closing, drugs are peoples choices, theirfore making them one's fault for taking. But saying it like that does not automaticly makes drugs good.

actually there are a few of them with temporary names (I just noticed this today in chemistry while looking at the table.) I think it would be cool if the public got to name one, although there would have to be strict rules about it. I dont want to have to look up an element that has a stupid name.

Ok im gonna be the little filter that trys not to get this thread locked, as it has a good lesson, so ill jump on the grenade before it explode and creats a flame war. Yes, i know some people here will argue that drugs are good, and dont do that "If you know what you are doing". We have confirmed this many threads ago. But lets assume that his friend was extreamly high, and didnt know a thing he really was doing, except going home and riding a bike. So lets just assume that it was because of careless use of drugs that this happend. There, now no one can flame this thread because i have already said something for both sides. Sorry your friend had to go through that. Hoping that he gets better, perhaps it will be a great lesson in life.

We did the exact same thing, but only used popsical sticks and glue. lets just say it didnt last very long :(

Are you actually gonna race that thing? If its the same CO2 car i made in grade 9, then i would suggest a design that is more arodynamic, ie. put mor bumps and curves on it to make it have more eddies, which make it faster. Also make sure there are no pointed edges. Actually, from the side view it looks fine, just make sure to kep the pointed edges to a minimum.
