IF you stop doing stuff to help the progress of the game, your bar decreases. Say you're working below deck on a themed world. Ideally, with so many people there your boat should rarely fill up with water. That means all that's left is patching holes and repairing rope. Now think of how many times you try to patch a hole but you're beat to it. Now think of when you actually have a timeframe to refill your bar before you're booted from the trawler for inactivity and have to start all over again. Mind you it's just speculation and I'm sure their balancers will take that into account (I hope :pray:) Ahh, I see what you're saying. They'll most likely make tweaks to it to prevent this from becoming a problem, and if they don't at first they will update it soon after.

Wow this seems very odd. Most of the Slayers i see use a BGS when Slaying. Now this might either be because its the cheapest GS around or it might be that what you're saying is inaccurate. Have you any personal experience or is your comment based on hearsay? Would a ZGS be a better option? Should i just wait till i can afford a new AGS? (I will not even considder a SGS). People who use BGS for slayer don't seem to care that they're getting slower kills and exp, they just enjoy seeing higher hits. ZGS wouldn't be worth it, and if you don't want SGS then just wait until you can afford AGS.

No, invisible boosts do not allow you to use things above your level. They do stack... say you get a 5+ visible boost at 80 allowing you to mine rune, and also have a +3 invisible boost, you will be able to mine as if you have 88 mining but if there was something at 88 mining you could not mine it. Sorry if thats confusing lol.

Compfreak wasn't lying about his gp/hr. You have to remember that he was stealing kills though which can greatly increase profit.

That doesn't make high levels want more content any less.

Lame... I'm only 85 slayer and I was hoping for something maybe 87 or even 95 lol. Oh well I guess, I'll probably make a huge profit for a week unless there are only a few creatures and 20 people camping.

Just like you've said.., a bit easier to high alch, which will encourage more people to high alch. Plus the fact, if bots where as good as you made them out to be, they wouldn't log out every few minutes would they? I belive this is to prevent jagex from looking at their login time and seeing 588921954 hours of continuous play.... just a thought. You get auto-logged after 6 hours of continuous play. This is probably the case most of the time, but in some cases, the auto program loses track of what it was doing, for an example: Say an auto program was picking flax, then on the way to spin it, the door shut (the building where you need to go to spin flax ect..) The auto program would log out due to it not knowing what to do. Most have no trouble opening doors, and if they do they'll go to a highly populated world so they don't have a problem with this. Alching consists of standing in a single spot so this doesn't even matter. Whenever I see bots they usually stay logged in for hours, not minutes, unless they are poorly made which usually isn't the case.

Looks like they're about to drop a fair amount. Get more opinions before you actually decide but I'd say if you don't sell now you'll lose a lot more.

Eh, not completely true. There is an activity on Wall Street called "short selling": basically, you "borrow" shares of a dropping stock from a broker or another source, and you sell the stock, and buy it back after it has fallen. You return the stock and pocket the difference. I'm sure the same thing could be [riskily] done with the Grand Exchange: a whole bunch of BGS owners could sell minimum, and once all of their swords are sold and the price is lower, they can buy back, and they'll have cash and their old sword. True; it could be done; but probably never will be. Short selling in runescape is impossible simply because there is no such thing as borrowing or credit, and what you suggest is not short-selling. Merchants only make item prices drop AFTER they make them rise (you would see a [bleep]e in the price before the drop). Actually, it could be done although I really don't think it ever will since it would take a hell of a lot of people and would be risky. If bgs is 16m and a majority of the people all started selling theirs for min until it went down to say, 13m and then bought their swords back. They would make 3m and have their bgs back.
