  3. I recently installed AOL on the computer and runescape hasnt been able to load. I get a weird window that says C++ visual assertion failed and it has three options on it, ABORT IGNORE or RETRY, and if i choose abort or retry it closes AOL or the IE and if i choose ignore it freezes. I tried reinstalling aol and even the Firefox web browser, nothing works. Anyone else using AOL out there? I followed every guide out there about JAVA so im pretty sure thats not the problem. Thanks for any help.
  4. I tried doing that still doesnt work. I dont think it's java though, something keeps hanging up. I always get this window that says C++ Visual assertion failed Could it be something with my settings?
  5. This is a weird problem when i try to load runescape. Our computer had DSL before and we disconnected it a few months ago so we recently installed AOL. Before , loading runescape worked fine but now when I try to load it, after the world selection, it loads Java but when I click the "trust jagex" thing that comes up, i get a small window that says on top "Mircrosoft visual C++ runtime library" and then it reads "Assertion failed" then it lists an address "C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore[Caution: ExecutableFile]" then a file name "../../../src/share/native/sun/font/t2k/t2kstrm.c line:132 expression: pos <=t->maxpos" then the rest of it says... "for information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the visual on C++ documentation on asserts Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled" Then you either press ABORT, RETRY, or IGNORE. If i press either abort or retry, the window disappears and says theres been an error. So far Ive tried installing the latest JAVA from sun, got updates from windows, updated the Explorer, tried running runescape on either the AOL browser or windows explorer, defragged it, tried doing system restore and restarted like a dozen times. I have AOL 56k internet, I played runescape before on this computer when i had DSL. Before i installed AOL, I never really used JAVA so i cant say if it was broken before. I ran out of ideas and im gettin desperate... Id really appreciate any help you guys can give, thanks
