  1. what would be really cool would be if u could have gold or silver armour. it wouldn't do very much to protect u, but it would look cool. then u could put the gems in it and it could become very valueable. i dont know how high of a lvl u would have to be to wear it though. maybe instead of haveing to be so high in smithing, maybe u would have to be so high in crafting  .
  2. that would be a good idea. everything that could apply to the gold bars/gems could apply to the silver bars/gems. but everyone would have to know that u can only make thye armour that way, u cant do anything to it afterward.
  3. i think that the slot idea is a good one, but i think you should only be able to put gems in the slots when you smith them. and i think that you should only be able to put in 1 kind of gemstone. otherwise it would get too confusing to have, for example, iron platebody of magic, defence, attack, and so on. and on the enchant spell, it should only take 1 enchanting. and for those things that take 1 bar, i think u should have to smash the gem first, because the stone might be bigger that the object itself.
  4. It could also help those less experienced smithers and crafters gain more exp points. It kinda gets hard to advance in the levels after a while, and your stuff doesn't sell for much. I think it's great because it offers a variety. You always see the same color armour, it would be nice to see new decorations on the stuff, and it would probably look better too. :)
  5. i just think it would be cool to see different, glittering, sparkleing suits of armour. it would deffenitly add some diversity to the normal solid color of the armour/weapon. the solid color of armour does get boring after a while, . it would also be a new way to make money for those crafters/smithers.
  6. I was kinda thinking that you would use a hammer to smash a cut gem into bits, use the bits with the ore(and a furnace), get a gem studded bar, then make whatever with it :) , then if you had a high enough magic lvl, you could enchant the armour/weapon(not that it would do very much).
  7. I think once you get a high enough smithing and crafting lvl, you should be able to decorate your armour and weapons with gem stones. Obviously the better you are in smithing and crafting, the better your decorations become. I think that would be a nice change from the normal look of armour. dufus noname
