  1. I can't believe it's come down to this. Well, here's the last update we'll ever get...

I apologize for not responding to you over the past few months, but it was difficult to respond when Steven's condition continuously deteriorated. So, I am very sorry to share that Steven passed away this month, on Spetember 8, 2007. I can tell you it was very peaceful and he was surrounded by all those that loved and cared for him. He fought the most courageous battle I have ever seen and for a kid, (only 19!) it still blows me away how amazing and determined he was. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers since his journey began; Steven and our family sincerely appreciate it.

  2. hello, this is actually Steven's younger sister Elizabeth, but I apologize for such a long delay on Steven's current condition. Life has been extremely crazy especially with school just ending. But I appreciate your concerns and your continual prayer. Steven has not really seen any new encouraging updates. He's still in a coma state, or it can also be called "locked-in syndrome". He has had many new set backs including pneumonia, and shingles. Right now, he has kidney stones, so he will be having surgery this coming Thursday. The tumor has recently begun to spread and itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s beginning to bleed. Steven is not aware of the tumorÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s growth, only that his head aches are more painful and more frequent. Steven has now decided that he doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want anymore chemo treatments, heÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s very tired..so just continue to pray for healing, quickly. This journey has been so long for Steven but also this entire family. We appreciate all the prayers..and we just ask that God answers them very soon! If you have any other questions or concerns..you can just email me..there's a better chance I will respond much sooner then my mother or even my older sister.

  4. Highscore are meant to be a sort of achievement for people, so naturally you should have to have a relatively high level to get in. A skill of thirty is a bit too low of a requirement, so I think that the strength requirement of having a level in the upper fifties is more suitable. The highscores table is meant to be a list of the higher scorers in RuneScape, not a catalouge of every RuneScape player.

  5. My school does some weird thing where they weight honors and AP class so that an A is a 5.0, a B is a 4.0, ect.

My freshman GPA was a 4.5something when it was weighted. Unweighted, it was a 4.0.

  6. A few of you may have noticed that Steven (Stevester77) has not been on the forums at all lately. Steven told me to tell his friends here at Tip.It what was happening to him. I believe he had a "hurt and heal" game going on in the Forum Games board, which he locked due to an illness that he had. At the time, none of the doctors he visited knew what Steven had. Well, the doctors finally discovered what his illness was: brain cancer. I have talked with Steven's sister, as Steve was unable to provide detailed information about his cancer.

Steven was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor on March 21, 2006. He was transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles and immediately began radiation and chemotherapy. We didn't know that Steven would end up staying in the hospital for 5 weeks - during this time, he lost the ability to eat, walk and function on his own. He had 2 surgeries as well; the first one was a gastric tube that enabled him to be fed directly to his stomach and the second was to remove a section of his intestines that had developed an infection.

My brother was home for about a month and during this month he seemed to be doing remarkably better. He was eating like crazy (he gained 20 lbs after losing 40 lbs) and was walking around with assistance. We thought things were finally turning around!

However, on May 28th, Steven was eating lunch and while doing so, he started to choke. He stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital. Along the way, he had a seizure and lapsed into a coma by the time they got there. Later we learned that this was caused by his brain hemorrhaging.

As of today, 8 days later, Steven is still technically in a coma. He is slowing waking up and can somewhat respond with his eyes. But the battle still continues - Steven is fighting so hard! He is such an amazing individual and an inspiration to everyone! So thank you for your concerns, thoughts and prayers. Prayer is the only thing that will change this situation for the better. But I will try to keep you updated as much as possible.

Please keep Steven in you thoughts as he recovers.

  7. I believe there is a topic about this same exact topic in General. Anywho, remember that JagEx said that the censor would need to be tweaked. Give them time before posting countless topics on the subject.
