  1. Well... lets just say Ive got enough money... :) Im quite a mingy so I wont be giving away free phats. I had a competition few months back when I gave away santas and party hat just for fun. Back then I didnt think I would come back but here we are... Though it doesnt matter since I consider myself quite a wealthy still. Thanks for your reply. How much do those sets cost? Maybe... just maybe Ill contact you a lil later in game. Ill see if I have a few coins to spare. :)
  2. Hi. Im going to get members again after years of being away. So I have a few questions what to do and which choises to make. First of all Im going to train combat alot, so which is the best combat gear. Is the whip the best weapon? Which barrows set is the best? Do I need the barrows weapon to get the special effect of the armour? How abaut amulets, capes, shields???? How much would this optimal training set cost? Which quests should I do. I had members at RS1 long ago so Ive done some of the old quests. So which quests should I do to get the best equipments. I mean are the usefull amulets, capes or other things? Which things will I need while exploring around? Antipoison potion atleast??? Which areas should I explore? Where are the best training spots? And my stats: Im 95 combat str 82 att 76 def 70 hits 77 mag 71 prayer 57 All my skills are above 50 but not farming and runecrafting. Should I get those stats up? Mining, smithing, fishing, cooking are all 70 or above. Money is basicly not a problem. But if there are some good ways of making money, please tell me. Mostly Im going to get all the ingredients myself, like herbs and such.
  3. the only thing that changed in smithing was the new items in rs2 the levels needed to smith never changed As Phil said, the smithing lvl tables have changed since the early start of runescape. I cant remember much, but atleast addy mail was 99 smithing. Mith plate was also very very high. Now Im not totally sure, but I somehow I remember/feel that bluerose was 64 smithing when they were changed. Or then steel kite was 64 smithing... Or something like that. Dont take those backflashes so seriously. Its years ago. I was so young (irl - lets see... its like 5 years ago so I was like 13) that I didnt really understand everything. And I didnt even know the game was new. I was playing counter-strike back then and my clan leader told me to try the game (he was 18 and a real hacker type of guy - dont know how he got to know abaut the game, since when I trace this back to then, it was out only like 2-3 weeks when I started. I know this cos there was this holiday coming in feb and I started just before that.) But when I got into the game, I think the best weapon that I could get my hands on was Addy long. Later on when the falador was already out, the addy battle axe was published and the axe shop in the port of sarim (???) was crowded.
  4. Remember that party hats were the first unique items that Jagex dropped, so people werent expecting them. Thats why there werent so many people logged in... atleast for the whole day...waiting for a drop, like they did with santa hats. Its so many years ago, that I dont rember how many servers there were. Not many I can say. I would guess there were less than 10k people on. Might be even below 5k. And you have to remember that alot of them were dropped and sold to general stores, since nobody expected that the prices would go up. I personally got a blue party hat back then.. and I still have it. I also bought red one back in the days. And people who have played for years, might remember that the blue hat wasnt the most expencive at first. The purple/pink one was the most valued. It all changed when in RS1 there was this duping thing. Some people found a way to dupe and of course the pink was the most wanted. Jagex got the people who were spreading the duped hats and banned them. Also alot of hats were deleted. Thought after all that, the whole market had gone upside down. As you can see now, purple is the cheapest and blue is the most expencive.
